Hmm, I'm not sure if I said my rank before, but I have thought about it more, aaand.... 7) Red Pill Blues: This album is a nightmare, with a couple good points. Girls Like You, What Lovers Do, and Visions 6) Jordi: Felt a little more real because it had a FUCKING REASON TO EXIST, I LOVE some tracks off JORDI, not off RPB 5) Hands All Over: Had a good number of my favourite tracks from them, but also a healthy dose of my least favorites 4)V: Maps, Animals, It Was Always You, New Love, Leaving California, My Heart Is Open, This Summer, Shoot Love, and one or two others were wonderful, it just had less bad than Hands All Over. 3) It Wont Be Soon Before Long: WONDERFUL, amazing tracks, maybe gets a little less quality on the later tracks. 2) Overexposed: My favorite Maroon 5 album, it is a wonderful pop rocker from my childhood that I'm a little biased towards, and yes perhaps It Wont Be Soon Before Long was OBJECTIVELY better, this is a SUBJECTIVE, yet fair, ranking of my opinion. 1) Songs About Jane: Fucking SPICY, it is a shot of pure sunlight, and is my third favorite.

In all fairness, it’s how I managed to get songs about Jane for so cheap, so I’ll take it. Seriously, £1 for an album that good is a bargain.

@@ARTV- Same, and actually (even though he gave them a lot of smack back when he was alive) their cover of "Kiss" by Prince was actually quite fun (just my opinion of course)

Overexposed has a ton of hidden gems on it. All the singles miss the mark though.

Yes I agree. His first three albums are great. I can’t stand that strange high electronic sound of his voice and just got too boring and sameness typical electronic pop sounding. But that’s just me. I honestly can’t stand him because he has a huge ego and is so full of himself. The only good song after his first three great albums is One More Night from Overexposed album.

I can confirm you're not the only one! Have been listening a lot to it lately, and songs like Stutter, Just A Feeling, Out Of Goodbyes and of course the funky Misery are genuinely good songs in my ears 😎

Lmao, I absolutely love Hands All Over. Found it absolutely dull on my first listen just like ARTV did, but after some more listens something about it really captivated me. Now the only song in it I don't like is Just a Feeling, I love pretty much every one of them. The album is almost a transition piece between the older and the newer stuff, presenting a higher emphasis on pop while not completely losing the funk and groove that made Songs About Jane and It Won't Be Soon Before Long so fun. It's probably not as good as the two albums that came before, it feels too polished and clean, almost, but it definitely has a bunch of gems and people give it waaaaaaaaay less credit than it deserves.

Estoria I completely agree! A song like misery is basically a previous single such as Wake Up Call with a bit more pop. I'd been fine if they went in a pop direction like that where they still had their identity, rather than disposable and generic top 40 crap

Curious...what makes V lower than RPB for you?

ARTV Idrk I think the overall vibe of RPB just sits better with me. I actually kinda like its laid-back, somewhat vibey sound. I can’t say it’s objectively better than V cause it probably isn’t, but I personally just don’t find V that sonically pleasing (with a few exceptions here and there).

I also love Hands All Over. It is an album full of interesting funk pop music. I like it better than the poppy alt rock of It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, other than a few of those songs that have disco and electro funk influence.

I really like Hands All Over, but Sugar is terrible in my opinion. I hate the vocals, lyrics, and production tbh.
