....and the left side has no oil in it 'dry side/ignition' so in that case the fuel/oil/air mix in the crankcase is regarded as ' the fluid', the spring side of the seal faces that.

If you havent taken care of it yet, yes there is. Have to be careful but drill a small hole in the seal, insert a wood screw then use vice grips or something to pull it out. but that shop should be taking care of that

I have a 07 cr85 that seal should be installed like he shows in the video correct??

i know this is late, but for anyone else checking this video trying to understand the diagram, it's as if we cut the seal in half to see a transversal view : the little protruding bit is the dust seal Then right under it comes the metal piece

I have filled crank case too but my oil seal spring was faced out to the clutch as he showing here.

@@How2Wrench would it make a difference if I did have it wrong my bike bogging down under load I'm trying everything to fix it I ordered smart carb I had shop set float bowl hight I cleaned carb changed crank seal changed stator I have compression I tore my engine out changed all seal again now im changing ecu an ingnition thing I'm check grounds like did I miss something it's yz125 2003 an from day 1 this bike breaks alot I usually can fix it but this time I don't know even my mechanic doesn't know or shops makes me frustrated bad il join channel
