Back when I played Legion, never sleep pills were my "basekit". I got 5th hit downs every match with only little effort (not to mention that the bp bonus can be quite nice depending how much you commit to it). Shit's too good to be a meme add on.
5:02 jewel beetle has one redeeming quality and that is you can pair it with lion medallion for insta yeeting survivors which does give it the meme quality we all look for in these addons.
Jewel beetle is really good addon in good hands tbh. Basically it let's you double tap survivors in many situation, wich can be done without it usually only in edge map. Also for some reason through starts power cd faster.

Plus like others may have said, Jewel Beetle + Lion's Medallion on Wesker is actually a decent combo, while the survivor is flying through the air, you regen your dash, and you get less slow down from throwing someone into a wall compared to the slam, so you recover quicker to continue chase, actually pretty fun and pretty decent overall. Alone though? Yeah, kinda average really
Vanity Mirror pairs well with Dead Rabbit + Monitor & Abuse. You'll have a 6m terror radius with 16m wallhacks. Feels like a faster Scratch Mirror that can actually gain bloodlust.
Your terror raduis is actually even smaller then, because your normal T2 TR is 16m and dead Rabbit reduces that by 20 or 30% (can't remember which of the two it was exactly) in T2. And then through M&A you get 8m less than you already have through the reduced TR. It's either 5m (if it's 20% reduction) or 3.2m (if it's 30%). It's so fun to play with an almost 0m TR T2 Myers. It removes the disadvantages pf Scratched Mirror and T1 and still gives you wallhacks.
This has to be one of your rare rankings where Hag is actually at the top for something. Poor girl is the only killer from 2016 that hasn't aged well. Thank you for the video and I hope you're excited for Frank Stone's release today! ❤
for waterlogged shoe hag, I actually have a full chase build that makes it not just a meme, but actually effective. Rapid Brutality is the main key here, as it makes hag even faster. I also like to pair it with Bamboozle for windows, and Enduring + Brutal Strength for pallets. And then the most important part is to ignore the traps entirely. You don't need the minor slowdown, it's not worth the time to set up. It makes chases very deadly, and while it makes hag not really have a power, it also somewhat removes all of the survivor's defenses
Wraith's "The Beast" Soot addon can be combined with Dissolution and the other addon that uncloaks you when breaking pallets to make it so you can chase a survivor while cloaked, and the moment they fast vault a pallet, it'll break, and you'll instantly uncloak and be able to smack them.
I find ranking jewel beetle as boring offensive, I always run it with the addon that increases the distance at which you throw survivors because it's so much fun and I never change them

Wraiths meme addon, mixed with cox colm clapper and stealth perks, causes utter chaos cause of confusion. Also placebo used to be one of blights best add-ons when mixed with blighted crow, allowed for easier curves with your first few dashes, but allowed you to get really fast movement when needed
Can't believe you've put Jewel Beetle in the lowest tier, it's super fun to use especially with the throw distance addon, it's also actually kinda good because it lets you do double taps by throwing people into an unsafe area like the edge of the map
As a certified meme enjoyer, here’s my own observations! Jeweled Beetle has funny synergy with Lion Medallion. Combine em for MAXIMUM YEET. Beast Soot has one specifically useful interaction with Serpent Soot and the Dissolution perk. Hit someone, cloak, chase em to a dropped pallet. If they vault it, it breaks, you insta uncloak and hit em. Its extremely niche but funny if you can pull it off. Vanity Mirror is way better than that IMO. Combine it with Monitor and Abuse + Dead Rabbit, you have a 6 meter terror radius, allowing 10 meters of wiggle room. Fun fact a lot of people don’t know about padded jaws: While it nullifies Serrated + Rusted Jaws, it does NOT nullify Lengthened Jaws and Honing Stone. While it doesn’t really work with Lengthened Jaws, combined with Honing Stone and its an absolutely brutal surprise for the survivors! They see the fact they took no damage, think they’re safe to break out and then BOOM, floored. Extremely funny! Cracked Primer Bulb has minor synergy with LoPro Chains, as the downside of LoPro doesn’t matter if you are already only hitting one health state. Waterlogged Shoe combines disgustingly well with Scarred Hand. I honestly recommend mixing these two, as you can use you traps to totally block pallets and doorways while chasing em at hyperspeed. Finally, Scratched Mirror is best used on indoor maps like Midwitch, The Game, Lery’s and (my personal fav) RCPD.
Vanity mirror can be really funny actually.When in combination with dead rabbit, spirit fury, endurance, brutal strength and bamboozle you can become the ultimate killer: Man-with-knife
True. I don't have the Spirit, so no Spirit fury/endurance combo, but I use M&A with this add-on combo for a 0m Terror radius Michael Myers build and it actually works pretty well.
Demo's addon is used unironically by some people. Survivors can just leave portals up, meaning you never get them back and you have useless portals across the map. For those of us focusing more on shred, destroying our own portals means we can be much more "on the move" with them.
Honestly pumpkin most be the most underrated meme add because you can basically teleport from anywhere when you have 1 portal. I think most people just miss use the add-ons effect since you don't wanna enter your key portals. You can easily leave chases by just placing a portal and just teleport to one of the places you want to go.
It's also kind of nice if you play against survivors who refuse to destroy your portals. If that happens, you can just run out, leaving portals in dead zones with little reason to travel to them. WIth Pumpkin, you can remove those portals, and always have one available for travel.
Video idea: Sometimes in a match, I look at which survivor becomes the obsession. Unless the killer is using Furtive Chase or Nemesis, I like to imagine why a specific killer would be obsessed with a specific survivor lore-wise. For example, if the Huntress becomes obsessed with Dwight, it's probably because he did something (unwittingly or no) that greatly provoked her, such as trespassing in her territory. If Xeno is obsessed with a survivor, it's probably because it decided they were an ideal host for its offspring--especially if it's Ellen Ripley as they've clashed before DBD. If the Unknown becomes obsessed with someone, it's likely because THEY were the one who decided to try to define it like Olivia did. If the Executioner gets an obsession, it's probably drawn to the guilt in that person, like Dwight's involvement in spiking his boss's drink or Bill's experience in the Vietnam War. Things like that. Like in a horror movie. Basically, anything that might explain why a killer would focus on one survivor out of the four in a match. Killers like Dredge may be hard to judge, but maybe because Haddie was drawn into the Entity as she was investigating it, the Dredge might decide to draw her into its void because she WAS looking for it, idk. I generally use jewel beetle as part of my wesker every game. The slam and pick up is very helpful and saves time, but on a lot of maps and with a lot of good survivors, it just saves time to throw them into a less safe part of the map.
you GOTTA combo these things with other addons and perks! chase hag is VERY fun. waterlogged shoe, scarred hand, and stuff like rapid brutality, coup de grace, and some other haste perks make her ZOOM. im partial to Furtive Chase and Batteries Included, myself. and for Vanity Mirror, there's no point in NOT using dead rabbit with it for 4m less terror radius, since no other addons work with it. on those builds, i like Face the Darkness and Sloppy Butcher. if i had monitor&abuse i'd use that. i like vanity mirror because you get similar benefits to scratched mirror, but you still move at 4.6m/s, so you dont have to entirely rely on surprise attacks if you get a bad map for it.
As a Legion main, it makes me VERY happy to see Never Sleep Pills make it so high up on the list. Also, fun fact with Doctor: if you pair up both of his Tape add-ons, both the circle and cone changes to the charge actually overlap with each other and make it almost impossible for Survivors to escape. Genuinely a fun experience.
As a Demo main, the Pumpkin is actually very useful if you plan on using it. Because your portals are directly tied to the Survivors, you can't get rid of badly placed portals on your own. With the addon, you can remove portals you no longer need and keep your web of portals exactly where you need them to be. And it's easy to work around if you don't place your portals without thought.
about myers vanity mirror: its really good if you use the dead rabbit addon, which reduces you terrorradius by 4m while in Tier 2 and moitor and abuse. Having a 4m terrorradius with the wall hacks is really fun, especially, because you are not as slow as you would be with the scratched mirror.
My favorite things about these addons is that they can pair really well with other addons and perks. Like using various speed perks with waterlogged plus severed hand makes for a great time.
Demo's might have potential since it only destroys the portal you enter. So you can place all but one of your portals and then use the last one to teleport around whenever you want.

Jewel beetle is actually a good addon for wesker because you recover from hittong a survivor much faster when you throw them instead of slamming them. It allows you to more consistently throw survivors and get a second free hit
The Rotten Pumpkin by istelf it's a lil bit painful, however, u gotta admit that it could be a funny in a strange way when pairing it with the Deer Lungs, since it removes portals from start, having the ability to "Recharge" those few portals while travelling insanely fast (+40% speed) it's an "interesting at least" strategy
Demo meme addon is actually useful You forgot that he destroys only the portals that you entered, not the ones you exit from. And actually replenishs it for you to replace it With that in mind, you can set your portals like normal and then keep one as a spare portal. Then if you need to teleport to any place, just put a temporary portal whenever you are and tp straight to where you want without the em worry of that portal being "in a bad spot for later use"
Some combos: Plague's meme addon would benefit from the extra object infection duration addon, Vanity mirror on Myers is great with Monitor & Abuse, both Hag addons shown here together, the nurse addon that disables blinks when you get a hit and gives you 4.6m/s pairs well with the undetectable on blink hit, the nurse addon that lets you go back to your original spot works well with one blink, often making survivors think you have 3 blinks with very fast recharge time
running both the hag addons together makes them really shine, especially when paired with perks that improve her chase even more, like Batteries Included or STBFL. Turns her from a defensive set-up killer with a slow start into a complete speed demon that ends chases very quickly.
Thing about weskers add-ons that change up the time, they aren’t meant to be meme ones more different way to adapt wesker to how you play him. I personally use his one that makes my first bound shorter but my second one longer, since I’m mostly using that first one to close distance most times
I love rotten pumpkin. It does require you to change how you play demo though. Instead of using any portal you want to keep a portal in your pocket so you can tp at any point and time to any portals that you have placed in stronger locations. I always feel that being able to to tp whenever and recover portals by gens that are already done is a lifesaver.
placebo tablet also has the added drawback that your lunges are 15% shorter during a lethal rush. This is because blights lethal rush lunge is calculated based on his speed, so running placebo tablet decreases lunge by 15% while blighted tag increases his lunge by 20%.
Bubba's Speed Limiter actually pairs really well with the Iridescent Flesh, since even 1-health state hits refresh your charges, you can chain together extra-long sweeps.
The rotten pumpkin addon can be really useful for a specific portal playstyle with demo, where you always keep 1 portal on you the entire time. That way when you need to TP, you place your last portal down and tp, and since it destroys the portal you used to go in, you get your portal back, meaning you always have one on you, making it so you never have to find a portal somewhere to tp The only issue is that you NEED to separate the disposable portals and the arrival portals (Aka if you tp to a gen, you should not use the same portal you arrived from if you want to tp again, you still need to place another down)
The Demo pumpkin add-on is actually strategic. You can put some portals next to gens, totems and gates without activating them - like a hidden card for later. This way you can place a portal anywhere on the map and go to where you want without wasting a portal. When I'm a survivor against a Demo - I don't destroy the bad placed portals or portals next to finished gens, this way they have less or no portals at all.
In order to turn off Sadako TVs, you have to take a tape. Then, if you turn off a TV while holding the tape, you get 1 stack of Condemned. Against Iri Tape Sadako, this doesn't matter, since she can't apply the stacks proactively, you don't have to worry about just turning off every TV you feel like. That's how Zarina got Condemned. In order for you to get a Quick Mori, the survivor has to turn off a TV while holding a tape and put THEMSELVES at max stacks. Which obviously nobody who has any idea how the killer works would ever do.
7:39 I think Wraiths should be a bit higher because there are certain perks where you have more than 2 terror radius and it’s really fun and confusing to the survivors.
As a Scratched mirror main, it makes me happy to see myers ranked so high. If you ever use scratched mirror, always pair it with an indoor map like RPD or midwich, and use the boyfriend memo addon.
jeweled beetle is actually one of wesker's best addons imo, it lets you trap people and turn what can be a long chase into basically an instadown, especially in the basement or close to the sides of the map
The wesker beetle addon is actually pretty good since the survivor gains less time to recover and makes your cool down shorter when you throw survivors instead of grabbing
I actually like using demos meme add on with his add on that allows him to place portals faster, it basically makes it so you have a portal directly below you at all times since it doesn’t take away from your max since it’s destroyed right away
Jewel beetle is an addon you have to get used to and in many scenarios is just better than outright not having it. Take basement trading for example, a fully healthy survivor coming out of basement and you throw them back down into the wall on the bottom while you’re still near the top. That’s pretty much a free down and hook while not losing much time and he’ll even might get to chase the fresh unhook for even more pressure. Same goes with edge map, it’s just overall better to throw survivors than to slam and making them have to run past you later can just be better. All in all I would consider jewel beetle to be the old philosophy of an iridescent addon. An addon that actually changes the way you play instead of being a net buff to your power or some random effect like Dracula where it spawns pillars in the exit gates.
The funny thing is that I actually use Deathslinger’s meme addon normally because of how easy it is to break so I can injure the survivor through a loop I’m not confident on, and it doesn’t really affect me when it comes to reeling in because I don’t really reel in at farther ranges or around tough loops
Still remember a streamer who grinded and got as many scratched mirrors and indoor map offerings as possible. The played through and did a big twitch prediction on how many DC's he would get in a day long stream, like 14 hours. I think in the end he saw 30+
A few things to note from my experience Jewel Beetle has some fun combos, such as the chalice to offset the downside and effectively just be base kit with bonus points, or the lion medallion for the ultimate throw only build, this survivor empty.. YEET! Padded Jaws can be combo’d with save the best for last to both get more tokens from your captures, and prevent the obsession getting trapped from costing you tokens! It basically lets you preserve the old Trapper meta without all that much of a downside all things considered! Speed Limiter on Bubba is hilarious with the one Ultra Rare that refreshes your tokens on hit, it’s just silly chaos all the combos you could pull off.
The Beast: Soot with the original Ultimate Weapon was AMAZING on Wraith. If you combo'd it with Dark Devotion, you could have two terror radiuses (one on yourself and one on the obsession), and they both gave Ultimate Weapon value. Kinda weird no DBD youtubers ever made a video on that tbh
Jewel Beetle is actually a buff to Wesker as throwing is always better than slamming since it gives the survivor less distance. I really recommend watching Crohmbs' video on Jewel Beetle, he explains and demonstrates its strengths really well
The exploding portals is actually pretty good. I have played with it a lot. Found it very fun to have avaliable portals needing to reset them regardless so it doesn't matter if the survivors destroy it or if I do
Vanity Mirror works well with Dead Rabbit and Monitor and Abuse. You lose a perk slot compared to Scratched Mirror (cos you have to use the lunge extending add-on with scratched) but you move quicker. So it's a trade-off between speed and distance on the aura reading. I've made Vanity Mirror work very well in the past when survivors assumed I was just using Scratched Mirror and that I'd be slow.
HARD Disagree on the Demo Pumpkin addon. That is one of my favorites for portals. One of the worse things about Demo is his portals can get stuck in useless places. Use this and you'll never run out of portals.
I think sadako's reworked iri tape qualifies as a meme addon bc it takes away a massive part of her kit, and she's way less threatening because of it. Survivors just... don't need to manage condemned anymore. They can go up to six bars by turning off tvs without fear because you have no way to get them up to the 7th
When using “The Beast” soot; I tend to run as many Things to amplify my terror radius as possible; making it so they can never truly tell when I’m close or far. Leads to people hiding in front of me because they cannot “Not” hear the radius.
I feel like the Freddy Krueger ‘s entire chapter was ramping up to be something huge contingent on acquiring the rights to use Nancy and when they didn’t it all went to a screeching halt 👀👀👀
hag + shoe+block I combine with STBFL, rapid brutality, brutal strenght and coup de grace. Then put a indoor map offering but especially Underground lab, midwich elementary and racoon. Is insanely funny. It's almost the only way I play hag. People get so confused, and with STBFL you can sometimes get 2hits infront of the same pallet or window that is blocked. You also notice while playing that alot of players got jumpscared by the trap and threw a pallet because they think you just teleported. And instead of this slower teleporting creature you're now just playing as this insanely fast old swamp lady who blocks your path. 100/10 recommend
You can do Vanity Mirror paired with Rabbit, I think if you also run Monitor and Abuse, you can get the terror radius down to 4 meters. You can also pair Legion's Never-sleep pills with Mural Sketch for a nice stacking speed bonus and long duration
I mean I'd think the pumpkin add-on for demo would be good because you don't have to worry about running out of portals just because you used one to get back to the gens from all the way across the map
The love the Wesker beetle add-on paired with the Lion Medallion that makes you throw survivors farther. I'm able to zone them off or hopefully throw them somewhere bad like edge map and on top of that I get 100% more blood points for Virulent Bounds :D edit: plus yeeting survivors is always fun
I will say I know a few really good wesker players that use the jewel because the cooldown for throwing is way shorter than slamming someone so if you go out of your way to throw people and play around the beetle you can get way faster downs
Pumpkin literally lets you forget about preserving portals or having to stand on one to access the network. you can teleport from any point on the map at at cost of simply taking extra second & not having one portal (you're carrying one on your hands). The only limit is that you have to avoid entering through the portals you want to keep but that's a nonissue 90% of the time because you'd spend less time placing a spare portal than walking to one. It makes demo so versatile. You completely missed the point of the addon and misused it terribly. Wesker's beetle is also another case of you either not understanding the addon or just not bothering to make a research. It's not a nerf, it's a gamble. Jewel beetle wesker is capable of 2 tapping survivors way more consistently because he doesnt slam into the walls nearly as often as he normally would, which allows him to gain momentum in the game very fast. Im pretty sure there are even more addons that you completely misunderstood and didnt get their actual value, but since you're ranking them by the most subjective and loose metric possible, you do you. But really, you horribly underestimate some of those and how much they can affect the gameplay in a positive way.
