Many have mentioned that Francisco Lindor's home run from Monday (September 30th) against the Braves should have been on here instead of JD Martinez's walk-off homer. My original reasoning for doing this was because Martinez's homer had a WPA (Win Probability Added) of +72%, whereas Lindor's fell just short at +65%. Either way, I probably should have included Lindor's homer on here instead, given the fact that his homer essentially clinched the playoffs for the Mets, though this video was mostly done by using WPA for each team. Thought I would clear that up.
That is true. The thing that Lindor's HR has is that it has a higher cWPA than Martinez due to how it sent the Mets to the playoffs. Still great video. Love all of these.
First, Lindor on Monday to send the Mets to the Postseason. Now, Alonso on Thursday to send the Mets to the NLDS. The Mets are getting clutcher, and it's truly incredible.
i appreciate the video and its well made but a few of these are just casual walk offs with not a lot of significance, a lot of clutch home runs came in september, i would make a part 2 because again its really well made!
