Yes. It's not even close. He's a guaranteed hall of famer, though I won't claim he's first ballot ( I hope he will be) given how hard it is for kickers make it in overall.
Matt Milano remains one of the single most underrated players in the NFL. He doesnt get the gaudy numbers that the all timers like Urlacher or Lewis got, but a true all round LB that both pursues the run, rushes the QB and plays the pass well is extremely rare.

Usually your "best player" is someone who is on the field for more than 5 or 6 snaps per game. He's the best placekicker of all time, but he just doesn't play very much.
Mark Andrews is a monster tight end, but I feel like both he AND Justin Tucker should have received an honorable mention. If Tucker wasn't a division rival (Bengals fan), I'd root for him all the time. Instead, I get to receive an impending sense of Doom knowing that, regardless of what the offense does, if the Ravens cross the 50 yard line, they're getting points.
I really don't like when people do that. I'm not a supporter of Deshaun at all but when tubers constantly dunk of him about the allegations I feel that's hella mean spirited. It's like at a certain point are you saying it because you really have a disdain for this player or are you just picking on him so you can get a laugh/get people who already hate him to hate him more? What he did was wrong. But shouldn't we give people a chance to redeem their past actions? Like dang.
@@morganyu812No. When it comes to “those” types of acts, he’s fair game for the rest of his life in the spotlight. I totally agree some of what happened was probably consensual, and I’m sure some women just threw their hat in the ring for a payday. But when dozens of people accuse you of the same thing, that thing is likely true. The man is mentally twisted. It’s not difficult for young, multi-millionaire superstar athletes to get female companionship. It’s one of the perks. What he did was about power & control; fulfilling an urge beyond the desire to be intimate with women. We have a word for those types of people. Starts with “r.”
7-10 would be good for the bears with this roster and Fields improvement lmfao, 7 wins is what we should be aiming for at least, in 2 seasons we should expect the playoffs
I called Fields a Bust straight outta college. Bears fans been telling me this for 2 years now 😂What's even better is that he's way worse than I thought he would be.🤣
@@db212006 He's way worse than you thought he'd be? And you're saying that when the only other good QB in his class is maybe TLaw? Must have high expectations...
@@morganyu812 I’m a Bills fan so I’ve literally watched every single game he’s played in. He gets a lot of tackles on RBs and WRs 5-7 yards down field. That’s… okay. It gives him some good tackling numbers. But he’ll never blow up a run in the backfield or smash a receiver coming across the middle and knock the ball out. He’s just kinda soft for a big guy. And in pass coverage, he’s pretty fast and has long arms so he looks intimidating to throw around. Young and/or bad quarterbacks are always weary to try and complete passes around him. But to actually good quarterbacks (the guys you’ll meet in the playoffs), they just throw around him easy peasy. His specialty in pass coverage is that he makes himself look like he’s in better position than he actually is. Good QBs see straight through it and Edmunds isn’t aggressive when the ball is in the air either. A well placed ball will get completed on him 100% of the time. He also sucks at blitzing. I know middle linebackers aren’t really supposed to blitz, but it’s nice to have one that can (i.e. Ray Lewis or Bobby Wagner). Edmunds just makes no splash plays at all. If you need a strong tackle on a third down, a forced fumble in the clutch, or a great play on the ball in the air, he’s not gonna be able to do any of that. That’s what Milano does. Matt Milano is a beast and there’s a reason Buffalo chose to keep him and not Edmunds.
@@sprawlz6466 Dude you had me engaged in the first half. The second half you lost me. Im really glad you gave a detailed breakdown tho because most people would have said Tremaine Edmunds just sucks because. However I don't agree with you on your assessment that he's doesn't blow up runs because he clearly does a lot. He's not as dominant as a run defender as people like Nick Bolton, Dre Greenlaw, or Fred Warner but hes definitely one of the top players in the league at blowing up run plays because he's way to fast for lineman to pick up block on him. And when he is caught in a block he has more than enough strength and arm length to shed. It's almost like you're implying that Tremaine Edmunds is mostly a "clean up" players because his tackles or misleading. And to that is heavily disagree. But even if I were to say that is true. This rarely if ever misses tackles. So as a clean up player this would be one of best skillets to have as defensive player no matter the position. Also you talked about his coverage skills. And I don't know about you but if you watched last year very throughly last year, Unless you're mentioning Fred Warner or Germaine Pratt... Tremaine Edmunds is probably one of the third best coverage linebacker in the league. If we're going on his last two years. According to Pff he's one of the highest graded coverage linebackers. And if you're not a fan of pff... Tremaine Edmunds has the second most pass deflections in the league last year for linebackers behind Germaine Pratt. He's a lot more nuanced then just waving his hands around.
With Justin Jefferson he is usually double teamed when the vikings get to the red zone so they tend to dump it off to the tight end, running back or they would go to adam thielen or k.j. osbourn. Osbourn is the wide receiver 2 now and will be replacing thielen in that role. He was used a lot towards the end of last season to score tds. Jefferson gets us down the field and one of the other 4 or 5 targets gets the td. There is nothing wrong with that.
@@zachstine6373Matt Ryan was one of the worst redzone quarterbacks of all time. That's why Julio's TD numbers are so bad. Also Jefferson doesn't have the same flawless route running Adams does to shake defenders, that's crucial in the redzone.
Sadly nobody talks about linemen because they don’t have actual stats. It’s really an eye test thing and most people don’t watch enough football for that.
Barry, I was literally shitting myself and crying because no one cared about Tariq Woolen. Thank you for recognizing him and saving me from marijuana overdoses
Barry tends to be more negative than most in terms of how good a player will be its nice sometimes because people will often be overly positive about player
@surprisedasian6365 I wouldn’t put fields at the top right now as well. But I feel as if his passing if much better than what is shown on stats or on TV. Next year will be his first with a half decent O-Line and an actually solid WR core. So starting next season I’m hopeful everybody’s viewpoint on him will change.
I kind of want to see Justin Fields have a Pro Bowl season just so Barry can choke on the irony that "Mr. Philly" blasts Hurts haters constantly yet is firmly in the lead car of the Justin Fields hate train
Its not a "hate train" its a truth pill given to delusional bears fans. The fucking guy averaged 150 yards passing a game. Thats historically some of the worst by a starting QB since the 1930s. He was horrible despite having the a top 5 online that gave him the 3rd most time in the pocket. The problem is he can't read a defense so he waits and holds on to the ball or rolls into sacks as he's waiting for someone to get WIDE OPEN cause his brain is so fucking slow. I've never seen a shittier player so fucking hyped over running plays. Fucking Drew Lock played better than this dude in 2 straight years and he got the boot. It's embarrassing you bears fans are so desperate that you Praise a QB with 4 wins over TWO YEARS even though the Bears made the playoffs when they drafted him. He made them worse..so much worse..open your stupid eyes.
@@philstryker9938 hurts had the best roster in the league lol. Best oline top 3 wr core top 6 te best dline that got the most sacks by alot. An amazing corner dou along with an amazing slot corner and a great safety and an above average linebacker core and lastly 2 cordinators that are now head coaches. And he had 1 good season multiple players playing as good or better than him (mahomes) too.
@@jacksonklark6119that doesn’t discount his feats as a quarterback. his rushing ability, stellar decision making and above average passing game are all because of him as an athlete, not the roster. also, just bc the two coordinators became HCs doesn’t mean they are good. u wanna talk abt being carried by talent? Jonathan Gannon was carried by talent. he is a worthless coordinator whose shitty coaching and schemes were mostly hidden from the rest of the league thanks to the world class talent on the defense. he will be exposed hard in Arizona for as long as he is head coach there. but yeah Shane Steichen was pretty damn good with Hurts i can’t lie
Video ideas: - Each NFL/NBA's team most underrated player ever; - If you remove Tom Brady's luck, how does that effect NFL history? Who wins those SBs instead? And how does that impact everyone's respective legacies?
2002 - St. Louis beats Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl 2003 - Unchanged 2004 - Carolina beats New England 2005 - Philly beats New England. Could probably make an argument that this win wasn't entirely due to Brady Luck though. 2006 - Unchanged 2007 - San Diego wins Super Bowl 2008 - 2011 - Unchanged 2012 - NYG beats Baltimore in Super Bowl 2013 - 2014 - Unchanged 2015 - Seattle beats New England 2016 - Unchanged 2017 - Atlanta beats New England 2018 - Unchanged 2019 - Kansas City beats LAR in the Super Bowl 2020 - Unchanged 2021 - Kansas City beats Green Bay in the Super Bowl 2022-2023 - Unchanged
I came here to say this as well. The fact he named CJ Stroud as 2nd best showed he didn't do any research. 140 tackles and 5 ints as a rookie beats a player who has yet to play an nfl down.
Also Herbert had 38 pas test and more than 5k yards in 2021 that is legitimately an map type of season just had to deal with brandon staleys defense holding him back
Scary Terry reminds me a lot of D Hop. A fantastic WR who seems to catch anything remotely thrown his way but has the misfortune of playing with career back ups and busts at the QB position. For once as a Giants fan, I wanted to see a great divisional rival player leave, not because he's a thorn in the team's side, but because I want to see him go off with a competent team while he's in his prime.
I'd say that Pitre should've been the honorable mention for the Texans. He had a pro bowl caliber season but had no one talking about it cause of the team he plays on, and as a rookie that's pretty damn good.
Other content creators shout this guy out so often, this is my first time watching his stuff. I’m ready to impressed! Will Mr. McCockiner live up to the hype? I’m rooting for ya, Barry!
I would have Chris Jones as the HM for the Chiefs. He is arguably the best DT in the league, Donald has slowed down and Chris Jones is still a monster and the anchor of that defense. Very well could win DPOY this year like he said he would.
@@matthewmultiplayer5947 Because while Kelce is incredible you need a defensive anchor and Chris Jones is that guy. He made so many big plays and came up big when KC needed stops. I am not saying Kelce as the HM is a wrong answer. I just have Chris Jones above Kelce. He's the best DT in the league right now. Career wise Donald has a better career sure, but Jones right now is better.
Josh Allen has led the league in interceptions over the last 3 years. I guess we celebrate that when it's Josh "Christ" Allen. What has he accomplished in his career? How many super bowls? MVPs? You'd think at least 2 of each with how the media talks about him.
Andrew Thomas is by far the best player for the Giants lol He’s no longer slowly but surely developing into a very good olineman, he’s already one of the best LTs in the league
He is probably the 2nd or 3rd best LT already, but Dexy is worth the pick for sure, although tackle is obviously a more valuable position. I think it's funny he thinks Hurts is so much better than Jones when DJ would prob but up similar numbers behind that line and with Philly's weapons, but they don't wanna talk about that.
hey barry. as a bills fan, i am very depressed. so, in my free time, I used josh allen's pre-bye week statistics and projected a season total based off of them, and i was pleasantly surprised. on the surface, his td numbers might not up to par with 07' brady or 13' manning, but his pure yardage stood out. also, i found that he would have contributed to more than 80% of his teams total tds and yards, which is historic. from my research, only 13' manning and '15 cam were close to his td %, but no one was close to his yards in any of the major categories. after seeing this, i formulated a spreadsheet comparing some of the greatest qb seasons ever, including 13' manning, 07' brady, '11 rodgers, 84' marino, etc. and i would love if you could at least take a look at it so i can see your perspective or even make a video about it. josh allen has been under fire from the media lately due to his shit postseason, so i think it is a very relevant topic.
Thought he was gonna pick Tucker for the Ravens. I mean the guy is by far the best kicker in the league by a mile, but the LJ puck is valid too, seeing how they win like crazy when he starts
The “unlike my bowels” comment hit home. I was taking a violent shit when I watched this and it reminded me i’m aging quick. 25 and my asshole can’t handle coffee
Realistically, however, his best chance was probably 2019. TB12& the pats wildcard elimination. Baltimore divisional, round elimination. 24-0 lead against KC. So, really, what’s left? The Derrick Henry show, And sexy Jimmy Both beatable.
We’re gonna forget about “that” call- the Eagles were clearly the better team on the field last SB. NO I’m not a fan/hater of either team like so many people love to say when commenting. I love the sport and calls ‘em like I sees ‘em. That Eagles offsensive line is world-class; the main reason for all their success on that side of the ball. Not taking anything away from Brown & Hurts. Their defense was almost just as stacked, and if it weren’t for that field, one call at the end of the game wouldn’t’ve mattered. I’ve seen some great analyses suggesting the slippery field hurt the Eagles more than the Chiefs. I won’t break it down but it makes sense. Even if you don’t buy into that, Philly certainly looked like the better team. In spite of the massive roster turnover, I can see Philly easily making it back again this season in a weak NFC.
I still think it will be Justin Tucker I do agree that I think Kyle will be great cause how funny would it be if the steelers and ravens once again have the best two safeties in the league
Was weird to hear my name mentioned since I share the name with one of these stars the great Barry McCockiner. Definitely grabbed my attention. My name is Max Crosby
Adjusted net yards per attempt, career: Burrow: 6.75 Hurts: 6.71 Herbert: 6.66 Tua: 6.65 If Burrow is top 3 QB (not necessarily saying he's far off) then Hurts, Herbert, and Tua must round out the top 6.
Great list but I would put Jonathan allen over daron payne because even though his sack total was lower this year, he has been consistently one of the best dt's in the league. Love your content just wanted to hear my thoughts from a commies fan.
As a panthers fan I can easily say that Justin fields is better than every other QB we had the last 3 years. We have the worst pass TD to int ratio over that span, with 46 tds to 50 ints
You're not wrong, but Fields doesn't even put up 200 passing yards per game. So I agree with Barry that DJ Moore's stats will probably decline. I'm not a Fields hater and think it's crazy that Barry is pretty much rating Stroud over Fields based on this video
@@matriculatethefootball 100% he is still a bad passer just somehow better then the panthers QBs the last 3 years lol. Tbh I get why he would rate stroud over him. Fields needs to prove he can run an offence through the air, or it’s more of the same in chicago
@@gallonzoffun3880 I don't understand this "more the same" talk. Fields had an 8 game stretch where the bears scored 25 points on average. That's 8th most in the league. They only won 1 game during that stretch because their defense was historically bad. No defense allowed more points per game than the bears. Sure, Fields isn't a prolific passer, but what he does with his legs is insanely effective. Compare this to Zach wilson who was only putting up 18.5 ppg, but the team went 5-4 because their defense is so much better. Put Fields on the Jets and the Jets won't lose often
