Every Photo Has a Story 5: Scotland 

I camped cross country 50 years ago. I shot off many 35mm rolls to record the highlights. The pics remind me of great memories. Now, I wish that I had shot many more pics. Good Luck, Rick

Thank you so much for sharing those beautiful pictures, moments and explanations. We totally agree, it does not matter if one cannot take those great well placed photos like you can, what counts is like you said, to be able to look at them once in a while and relive those times. It might be in England, Scotland and in the Scandinavian countries where one can put up tents, but in the rest of Europe please be sure to check the State and local laws. We were hoping to once go back to Austria where we grew up and hike and camp throughout the country, but they are very restricted in that regard as well as neighboring Countries. Switzerland is a tad more relaxed in certain parts of the country. Just our 2 cents worth. Looking forward to some more of your videos.

You'll love the Arizona Trail, I just completed my thru hike of it this spring. Great little trail towns, friendly folks, and the Grand Canyon is the cherry on top!

The AZT was never on my radar until I Watch The Nightcrawler hike it a few years ago. Very impressive and so much more than the Grand Canyon.

Great images bro, glad you did this montage for us. Scotland is a beautiful wild place and the sense of solitude is abundant in the Highlands. With a that rain comes the rainbows and Scotland shows her beauty for just a brief moment. I leave a piece of me every time I'm in Scotland fellow hiker and am sure she took a piece of you too! Keep up the great work brother.

did you ever see the movie Unbranded? Interesting adventure and cinematography. They took horses through AZ, UT, ID, WY, MT. Not sure if they followed the AZT but the route looks pretty close. Its kind of like a CDT route at the north end.
