Thank you all so much for a wonderful first year on RU-vid! It’s been absolutely amazing! And to thank you, here’s a rundown of the whole year using exclusively glamour shots! Well… maybe not EXCLUSIVELY, seeing as I’m about to tell you a little about each plushie right now!
1. Donatello from rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles!
This plushie was a super special one because I made him for my 21st birthday trip to Nickelodeon universe! His battle shell was the first time I had to glue foam together to get the shape I wanted!
2. The collector from the owl house!
This plushie still has a special place in my heart, even if he’s not perfect! I will never not be proud of his little outfit!
3. Bluey Heeler from… well, Bluey!
Bluey was one of my first plushies to really start getting traction on my socials! And, unfortunately, is the first plushie to have had one of their vertical promo videos STOLEN.🥺
4. Yesper, one of my original designs!
Yesper was my first original design to make it to the channel! They didn’t do so well to start out with, but over time people really started to like that video! (Even if it was because it was a disaster😅) fun fact about this plushie, he was designed because I needed to use up some of the fur I had laying around!
5. A clicker from the last of us!
This plushie was actually made as a birthday gift for my sister! The video didn’t do well at all, but I’m still glad I made it because it rejuvenated my love for that base pattern!
6. Spider Gwen bear! A mashup of original and Spiderman fanart!
Now THIS plushie is the one who got the MOST love online! People LOVED her! The response I got to this plushie is really the reason I kept making spiderman bears! And while I don’t have any more planned for the near future, I do have one I’m still DYING to make one day!
7. Vanny from fnaf security breach!
Fun fact about this plushie, I didn’t plan to make her until the trailer for ruin came out and then I went into panic mode trying to get it done in time for the DLCs release!😂
8. Bingo Heeler from Bluey!
Bingo is an odd case for a plushie. I didn’t have a strong connection to the character so I didn’t feel a huge pull to make her, but since I had already made Bluey, it felt like I HAD to make Bingo! Weird!
9. Miles Morales bear, another mashup of original and spiderman fanart!
Of course, after making Spider Gwen I went straight into making Miles! In fact, I was making Miles at the same time as I made Bingo! Just very secretly 🤫
10. The spot bear! One last mashup of original and spiderman fanart!
The spot is unexpectedly special because this plush was the start of me switching over to a new style of video! The kind where you can see my face!😂 It started out as a way to try and make extra content on the side but turned into my new style of video!
11. Fionna and cake from Fionna and cake! (lol)
This project BURNED ME OUT! I LOVE how it all turned out in the end, but HOLY MOLY was that a lot of work!!! I definitely did not have time to do all that when I did and pushed myself WAY too far to get it done in time… you’d think I’d have learned my lesson after that, but nope!😂
12. Stitch from lilo and stitch!
Fun fact about this project, I started it RIGHT after Miles and Bingo! But it didn’t come out until the end of October! Because of this, my style of video didn’t really line up with what I had recorded at the time which led to a VERY difficult editing process😅
13. A whites tree frog, another one of my original designs!
This one’s super special because it’s the first RU-vid plushie I’ve made that I also sold on my Etsy shop! I’m really hoping to do more of these in the future! That way it’s not just you all watching me make something you can never have, but watching me make something you could get right then! Of course they’ll always be a one of a kind, but that just means if you like it you’ll have to act fast!😉
14. Prim! A cartoony recreation of my cat!
This is the first time I made something that’s technically both fanart and an original design! That being because it’s fanart… of my cat!😂 She IS the star of the show after all!
15. Lastly, Roxanne Wolf from fnaf!
Ending the year on a mega project like this was not my plan, but I’m so happy with how it turned out anyway! This was another project that I kinda just had to squeeze in at the last second since the release date for help wanted 2 was released only a couple weeks before it actually happened.😅 This project took WAY longer than I thought it would and really beat me down over and over again. Thankfully she turned out fabulous and I’m SO happy I made it out to the other side of this 33 hour long project!
But with that, all our plushies are accounted for so I’ll heave you with one last huge thank you, and happy new year!
