@@JackpodyDK Well, it rarely ran, and when it did, it was only at half capacity, despite full capacity already being super low. For a long time, it's been a maintenance nightmare and the park has decided it's not worth fighting for anymore, because it's slowly become a battle they can't win. They pretty much had no choice. It still stands and is planned for removal in the next few months. (I know an employee of the park who told me about it)
I was going to Tivoli Gardens in december (we had no choice, time to deal with long queues) with a friend who is a thrillseeker, wonder what he is gonna say to this...
I'm from Scotland. Loved Copenhagen and loved Tivoli. It was really nice revisiting all the rides so thanks for this video. Great place and lovely people. Itching to go back.
Den Flyvende Kuffert does have some of the feel of It’s a Small World, but of course it also has its own theme of the Hans Christian Andersen stories, so it feels original, unlike several It’s a Small World rip-off rides I’ve seen now and then. I really enjoyed it and rode it more than once!
This takes me back. I came here to visit my uncle when I was maybe 5, so around 97/98 maybe? I remember a ride that I guess is no longer there, Odin's hall maybe? It was a spinning table I think but I remember two mechanical ravens talking to you in the que line. Also, funhouse is incredible for kids. Probably my most vivid early memory is from there.
Very nice. Also The little dragon is actually the old little flyer ride. Exact same one, all the way back from 1970, just with some updated theming. Doesn't look at nice as the old theming though ngl. and also The Music carousel is a weird one since it used to be a seasonal ride, only coming in for Halloween and Christmas, but now it's permanent. Also I know this is gonna sound weird but, I actually find Tik Tak to be milder than the Huss Breakdancer it replaced! Snurretoppen, that breakdancer was one of my all time favorites when it was still around. The insane feeling of almost a car crash with the fast turnarounds and the feeling of potentially flying off it all, it was insane, and I've sadly never found another breakdance with the same intense feeling. Tik Tak however, kinda tame by comparison as weird as it sounds. Especially if you don't mind swinging forwards and backwards a bit.
Personally, I have Snurretoppen at the very bottom of my flat ride ranking, but that's because it made me throw up three times after my one and only ride 😂 And that's why I don't ride Tik Tak. Snurretoppen's movements are exactly the kinds of moves that my stomach is weak to
It's rare indeed! 😂 Especially during Fall and Winter. It's just 6 months of sad November weather basically. But we do have beautiful Summers. Just check out my Tivoli vlog from June 😘
The motions are very different. Tik Tak constantly yanks you back and forth and side to side while spinning, but Vertigo's spinning is severely different
I'm glad to hear! :) The reason I say so is because I know a few people that can ride literally anything as much as they want without problems, but for some reason, Monsunen always gets them
