Wait for Eminence in Shadow anime. There's a character with a body of just a finger. Literally just a finger. But somehow the finger is very expressive in the novel. If the animation team did good you'll enjoy a finger expressing itself.
@@kexdd69don't kid yourself, people definitely dislike you for a very good reason. like, seriously, cut it out with the wojack pfp, it just screams "autistic".
If you listen closely, it actually sounds like her voice is being slightly muffled as if it’s actually behind something like a notebook. How realistic of the voice actor to do that.
Might not be all for the cutesy style personally but I cannot just ignore a character with trouble expressing emotion being given a mask with a screen to express herself as something that sounds both heart warming and genius.
Fun Fact: The reason she has trouble expressing her emotions is because her parents couldnt spend time with her. And she had no friends, so she eventually lost her ability to express emotion
@@nesswhopees In her SIFAS bond episode, Rina said that she used to express her emotions just fine. Her parents work until late at night, and she wanted them to not worry about her so she did her best to appear and become strong. Rina thinks this was the time that she started having trouble expressing what she felt.
Reminder that the Rina Chan Board is so powerful that the picture taped to the ghost costume changes multiple times in a scene to match Rina’s reactions without her ever changing it
70% of these viewers watched this because it's cute 20% of these viewers watched this video because they love Rina that first sight 10% of these viewers actually watched love live
I will never get over her performance when you can see her behind the mask for a second singing. That was when I knew I was invested because I fucking screamed.
I like the subtle changes in medium like how she uses a whiteboard at the pool so she doesn’t get her notebook wet or how her ghost just has a few tapped on
I actually really like this perspective. Bare with me, but it makes me think of a show I recommend Interviews with Monster Girls / demi-chan wa kataritai ~ I Began to love it when I saw parallels to my own experiences trying to function as "typical" despite being "Neurodivergent" (Diagnosed with ADHD at 4 years about 25 years ago) Minor spoiler, but some of the neurotypical/typical-human side characters eventually realise of their own initiative, that trying to pretend the self-named "Demi-chans"/Demi-humans are just typical humans to help them feel accepted... actually has the opposite effect because it ignores what is unique about the demi-humans. Essentially, they shut down their special abilities, experiences and perspectives that they can bring into a relationship/workplace by people with ADHD/Autism/neurodivergence/etc. Can't tell you how ecstatic I was when the characters said this, and I was like, "Oh my gosh, yes. I couldn't have said it better!"
How many of us could keep in touch with and remain friends with a person like her, who is not good at expressing themselves?? I’m also not confident, and I might feel uncomfortable with him/her for not being able to share some emotions… Rina chan’s efforts and her kind friends keep her in the loop, that’s simply beautiful and rejuvenating.
well i mean, i don't usually like to look at people's face, and except her face rina is decently good at sharing emotion, so like, i mean it's a win-win, they wouldn't ask why i didn't look at their face when talking with them nor do i need to feel shy for not looking at someone's face when talking with them
I was thinking of actually doing a "rina-chan board" because sometimes i don't know what i feel or i don't want to talk so using a board of emotions would help. I also kin Rina and she's also one of my confort characters so it would make me very happy
literally same but i know for sure that if someone did a rina-chan board seriously irl theyd get bullied the hell out of em. Normalize expressing yourself in weird ways ily rina
I don't watch Love Live so I didn't understand Rina at first when I happened to stumble on clips from the game. Now that I've seen this video, I feel like I understand her a lot more now. Thanks for the video! I'm glad it got recommended to me.
Rina draws each various emotional faces on her sketchbook all the time😚 after all instead of using her sketchbooks during in the anime series, I’m sure that she can rather 😊 smile to face and use more expressions at them in no time perhaps.
Everyone is talking about how she draws so fast but she probably has the notebook full of already drawn emotes and just flips between them. Idk I have yet to watch the anime >^>
I did something like this for a class once. The students met in a room and the teacher called in with a camera. I always sat too far off to the side for the camera to pick me up so I made pieces of paper and taped them to pencils and reached them in so the camera could see me.
