I asked AZOR pedals to send me everything. EVERY THING, they sent me 14 and I threw one fuzz that I already had into the mix. I've been pretty impressed with the build and audio quality of the azor pedals ive tried so far, but how do the rest hold up?

@@60CycleHumcast it's true my pants are grumpy. However these cheap mini pedals are a money pit. They usually just end up sitting on a shelf or in a pile somewhere. Sure there are a few exceptions but still a waste of time and money. Imo

Case in point, these reviews/comparisons are some of my favorites. Reviews on top shelf booteek pedals are a dime a dozen, but on my budget... well let’s just say I could build a whole afforda-board for the price of like, a single Strymon super-doodad. And thanks to these reviews I can find out which cheap pedals are cheap and not just shit

bought an Azor Tremelo and Reverb just recently. Both had issues. The Reverb pedal on/off switch didn’t work and the Tremolo had a very noticeable hissing noise when engaged. I contacted Azor via the email they provided and got a response within 24 hours. To sum it up, once my original purchase was verified which took a day, they replaced both pedals which I received in three days with no additional charges of any kind. Both of the replacements work very well and needless to say I am completely satisfied with the rapid response and great warranty coverage. I highly recommend Azor products. Buy with confidence.

Big props to Azor for sending you all of their pedals! I particularly liked all of their Distortion/Fuzz/Overdrive pedals. As you said, "huge" sounds. I like how you divided them into similar, and small groups. You might want to consider an Affordaboard #2 for good pedals that are different than your personal taste. Maybe for a future Affordaboard video: Octavers, Power Supplies (good chance to demo Azor's). Thanks

Damn I love the thing you were doing around the 7:00 mark. The little G to A power chord progression and the Am high 3 strings bar is just so amazing for what it is. Added that to whenever I jam around in the pentatonic now. Came to see some cheap pedals but left with a new little trick. Thanks man

Try eBay as well, they have a direct sales page there with fast, free shipping and same prices. I ordered March 27 and it's arriving today. Prime is 3-4 weeks currently for Azor products.

And then some! I plugged in my Ltd echo 1000 deluxe went to the neck pickup (omg 60) in an fx loop using the kirk hammett wah, an ehx octave multiplexer, a dd7 as a looper into my marshall dsl 1hr n it was music to my ears (pun intended). A beast indeed! 🤘

I love that you're playing the bullet. I used mine at the shop today (while I was trying a waza blues driver) and had a mini jam session with some cat who was looking at basses. I may not ever have a fastback, but I got my grey mustang upstairs

Thanks for this video, it's cool to do this under the radar line. I love that overdrive that morphs into a distortion, the green box. The muff fuzz and the velcro are great too and yeah, that reverb and delay and perfectly good too. I was hoping to get something cool out of that phaser to save money but I hate those kinds of phase sounds. Anyway, thank you for making this video.

Great video, I have some cheap pedals and I really like Azors stuff! For synths and electric organs, the red reverb, some of the distortions/overdrives and the delay pedal is great. On a live gig or a reharshal, these are good enough and I think that alot of times these pedals are alot better than the built in effects on most mid price combo guitarr amplifiers, I use my Azor effects side by side with legendary Ibanez and Boss pedals and in my opinion I honestly think that the red Azor reverb is one of the best sounding reverb pedals I´ve ever had.

I run the Pure Boost in my loop to give more clean head room on a single channel amp. Works great. Very effective EQ as well. Nice volume boost and warms up the sound a bit if you set the gain past noon. Every time i think i can take it off my board it goes right back on.

Reckon the reason you like that green 'overdrive' Ryan is that it sounds to me like it is based on a DOD 250/MXR Dist + circuit. That sounds like hard clipping to me, definitely a distortion more than a soft clipping overdrive

Noticed three new Azor pedals on eBay today. AP-319 Distortion (red with a ‘lomid’ control), AP-320 Overdrive (gold, with red lettering, standard controls), and AP-321 Heavy Metal (charcoal with a classic/extreme switch and a mid control). I’m happy about this.

AP-320 is already out of stock. I’m presuming this is the Azor version of Caline’s CP-99 Medusa Overdrive, which is clearly meant as a clone of J Rocket Archer, which is itself a Klone.

I have the green OD. it's a great pedal, not even a great $20 great pedal, it's a great pedal! I run it 1st through a Blues JR on clean, with minimal gain on the low gain setting and it gives a little dirt with a brighter tone. Super cool. I can hear the mid-range push from it through the Blues Jr. though. I assumed it was an 808 clone, or I read it, I don't recall

The little Muff will be a triangle, almost 100% guaranteed. All these tiny Chinese Muffs are, ie "Stylish fuzz" etc.

I had some time, so I figured I'd open mine up and have a look at the circuits. Black Distortion - Suhr Riot Grey Fuzz - Transistor based Big Muff Green Overdrive - Much to my surprise its actually an OCD, it's just voiced differently than my KMISE ultimate drive (brighter & lower gain). I set my UD at noon and to get the same sound I had to to set the tone at 9 o'clock and the gain at 3 o'clock. Also the switch is reversed.

I bought the green, blue, and white drive pedals as a lark for $20 each, and I really like the blue one a lot. I'm not sure exactly what it's based on either, but it sounds to me like a Tube Screamer with just 2 band EQ. I also thought that the green one was supposed to be a TS, but it doesn't have the mid hump, and it's really bright. For those who don't know, the Azor pedals are Caline's mini line, and I really love Caline pedals. They're my favorite line of Chinese pedals. Their Orange Burst BB clone and Pure Sky Timmy clone are universally loved, and their Medusa Klon clone is one of my favorites of the many, many Klon type pedals that I've tried, the others being the Tone City Bad Horse, and the Caline Pegasus, which is a little lower gain and less compressed than the Medusa.

I bought the blue overdrive and I love it. It is not a Timmy clone it is not the same as the Caline Blue Sky. I bought the mxr Timmy and I returned it. Blue Sky sounds better than the Timmy. The Azor Overdrive just sounds amazing! What is it trying to copy I'm not sure. Something between a boss Blues driver.. a Timmy maybe and a tube screamer. The Azor sings and just sounds a little harmonically better than the blue sky at least on leeds and crunchy stuff. That's just my take. Yes I want to know the full size version of this pedal please.

That green overdrive definitely has a wider range of crunch than the other two. It's definitely sounds like a distortion that you can dial back down to an overdrive. I prefer the brown reverb as I prefer spring reverb over digital.

The Valeton Tremolo goes for about $40 on Amazon, so it's a little out of the affordaboard range, but has the standard rate/depth/bias knobs AND a volume knob. The only issue I have with it is that it doesn't get fully wet, so there is always a little bit of guitar signal passing through even with the depth maxed.

This was really fantastic! I enjoyed a lot of the pedals actually. The brown reverb sounded amazing to me. I will definitely consider getting one of those and also the delay. Is it really the same as the Mimi one you had on the #affordaboard but just in a different color?

Got the spring reverb. it's great, but but does lower the volume. Helps with a good compressor.

I think it's these (I'm working this demo up right now): Blue 308 is a Dumble clone. Gold 320 is a Klon. Green 315 is a TS9 White 316 is an OCD ...through my chain at least.

The blue one is apparently a Caline Pure Sky, which is basically a Timmy clone. The Azor is actually less scooped than the Pure Sky and has different EQ sweet spots to my ears, but it’s definitely in the same world.

I'd like to see an investigation too. It seems like a single factory is making all these pedals with the business model of introducing a new brand every year, people buy and review them because they are inexpensive and the reviews are good so the demand and price gets to $40 where sales fall down where they introduce another brand at $20 for all the reviewers to buy ... The investigation may also uncover that all the top-end boutique pedals are also produced in the same factory using the same parts and designs by the same pedal team.

Just watch Josh's Behringer video on the JHS channel. Despite being flimsy as fuck, some of the Behringer pedals are almost identical to the pedals they're based on.

@@jvin248 You only have to take the back off a couple of pedals to realise that the "boutique" pedals aren't made in the same factory as the cheap pedals. That's not to say that the circuits aren't very very close though.

I think it’s fairly well-known that these are rarely novel designs, but it would be nice to know if a TR-2 based Caline is the exact same as the Joyo, Kemise, Donner... etc. We need a cheat sheet of all the sonically identical makes/models.

I bought 5 of these after watching your review. I might have to unsubscribe due to severe G.A.S.!! I got them this week and like all of them. The Noise, Overdrive, Chorus, Delay and Pure Boost. This is on top of the Snake Bite reverb and Trinote Fuzz I've got already!! With my Monoprice Tuner and Donner Looper, I am good to go for awhile. Still drooling over a Wah pedal......yeah the sickness is real!! Thanks for the reviews of these affordable pedals! Stay safe all!!
