@@earlefinlay3682 Stopping time is common amongst high level psykers. There is however a difference between just stopping time and your totally unrelated magic being so fuck-off powerful that the universe itself starts lagging.

isn't mephiston known for time stopping? i've read the seraphon codex and i assume kroak is stronger than mephiston, but stopping time probably isnt one of the things to demonstrate that. magnus also did it in deathfire as well, whilst astrally travelling to the salamnder ship and was not whole

Lord Kroak is pretty much the greatest psyker ever. He even casually uses his powers while being dead, unlike Big E who's struggling to use his powers other than to hold the Imperial Webway closed to keep Terra from being Daemon Central in the material realm for 5 minutes before it explodes with Big E's death.

Biology definitely matters but like an Eldar farseer has the same strength and toughness as a standard guardsman so it doesn't require physical superiority necessarily. The emperor was born a perpetual, basically a different race before he even began the journey to whatever he is now.

That cyborg was overpowered as fuck, I hate how the writers don't take time to study earlier lore-accurate psykers, not even MAGNUS or the EMPEROR could do what that Cyborg could have. My personal lore is that the extent of the Cyborg's control was GREATLY exaggerated and they only controlled a few systems, maybe a sector, and they were only able to because they were a cyborg and could delegate parts of their mind/psyhic power to different machines.

Way more than even what the emperor is able to do. Although the emperor's Powers have been kind of just brushed over. We don't really know the extent of his powers. What if he was fully killed by horus? Would he have had the same effect on the galaxy? Maybe more? There's so many questions lol

@@colinmackay92 The best way to make this kind of lore "make sense" is to just say that it's Imperium propaganda, the numbers are highly exaggerated, or whoever is writing it made a mistake (the last two work very well since most books come from "first hand" accounts of the events, meaning they are most likely biased)

Yep, people underestimate the eldar because they forget that they're only using à fraction of their power at all times. I mean mephiston was called à pale imitation of à war in heaven eldar by à necron iirc. So yeah eldar are broken, i suspect that should slaanesh be defeated the eldar would just wreck everyone as they could finally unleash all their power and all the tech hidden in commoragh. A lot of people forget that the eldar (unlike the orks and even most necrons) still have a lot of their wih tech (the drukhari have it so whether they would share if slaanesh is beaten remains to be seen, the drukhari of course are likely much weaker psykers due to never using their powers). Also the war in heaven makes the horus heresy look like à skirmish so there's that

The emperir being a blank that powerful would make him the ultimate pariah, people entire planets away would feel sick or uncomfortable due to his mere presence. He also wouldn't have his enhanced charisma, in fact he would have negative charisma so good luck convincing anyone to join your side. The real answer in my opinion is that the empire as we know it never becomes a thing.

In a weird way, I think the Silver Emperor is a good example of what an Ultimate Pariah looks like, a nigh unseeable being with an incredible skill to trick his enemies. Entire planets would be immunized to the Warp by His sheer presence, and likely any psykers born would be killed immediately. Of course the Silver Emperor achieved this with tech, where the Ultimate Pariah would achieve this by just existing.

@@alfieingrouille1528it would absolutely change shit, like the entire timeline of the crusade would shift, different primarchs would wind up fighting different conflicts, and that can butterfly to the point that the lost primarchs may not have been purged(hard to tell when we don’t know why it happened but then being around at different times changes the events that lead to it regardless of what it was) or even Fulgrim not being the one who fought the snake sluts he received his demon sword that corrupted him from, making his fall basically impossible. Like there’s so much that could change, it’s a interesting thing to discuss since this is a situation the butterfly effect would go nuts

Any relevant level essentially. The decision is not made based on power, but based on the capability of those candidates to be trained. Of course, some higher power levels are both needed for the throne's operation and are abundantly represented among those fed to it because the likelihood of them being untrainable due to insanity is way higher. Basically, anyone who fails psyker training or the qualifications for said training is fed to either the throne, or the hollow mountain.

The Alpha Plus to their bodys from what i found long ago no longer need food, water or sleep to be alive and psychic powers are reality bending when Xeelee's technology is same like with the necrons controling the laws of reality when psychic powers break them and a Zeta or Epsolan would still be able to fight to their aura will be able to counter their technology when a Alpha Plus will be like a full C'tan fighting a Necron Tomb World they have in their description to "there is no thing what they can't do with their power alone" like they can brute force with their powers to do anything they want what make them to be humted and killed by the Inquisition before to reach the age of 5 years old.

The issue is that it's rather difficult to quantify, due to game balance limitations. By all means our smite should atomize. everything in sight to my knowledge. But that'd be no fun for anyone else.

Also the more powerful the psyker, the more susceptible they are to blanks, but at some point on the scale power gets so retarded that a single blank to them is like a glass of water to a star

Hard to say, since we don’t really know much about how human society was organized back then or what the emperor was actually doing beyond staying out of the spotlight. He easily could have been a key researcher or general hundreds of times throughout history, simply changing his appearance after an average lifetime for the time period to do so. The main way the emperor could have potentially kept the golden age from ending and the human empire from falling would be through either creating a counter for the men of iron should the future they rebel come to pass, tho if that were feasible without the emperor being to hands on with humanity he’d likely have done it in cannon so the more reasonable way would be by copying the schematics of the baseline STC system that actually creates what’s on the blueprints, copying the blueprints of the most important and useful tech, potentially editing the designs of some of the Spicier tech and most importantly, designing tech, regular or warp based that could lessen the damage the human psychic awakening did long before it began. It’s hard to say the emperor didn’t know it was coming bro can see the future of multiple timelines so highkey the fact so much tech, knowledge and infrastructure was lost when the emperor had so much prep time that if Batman had it he could figure out a way to box Cthulhu with his bare hands, no gadgets and win is a massive L for the emperor like bro you had 30k years to lock in why wait so long?

@@ianharrison5758 Also hard to say if he was already this powerfull at the Time. Malcador sayed he wasnt the Emperor until he met him, and that he changed after coming back of the Portal on Molech. My Theory is, that he was a very powerfull perpetual Psycher but still a Men. And when he went into the Warp via the Molech Portal to get the minor Warpgods for the Primarchs, he took one for himself. Fusing, absorbing or beeing absorbed by a non Chaos Warp Entity. Becoming the Big E we all know today. Also from a Timeline Perspective it wasn´t that long before the Age of Strife started. Maybe it wasnt just the Eldar Orgys getting out of Control that Fd up the Warp. Taking those Gods out brought it out of Balance.

I think it was stated in lore that humanity at its peak could have caged and/or killed the Emperor as he was, since that was before Moloch. Even if that wasn't stated, I wholeheartedly believe that, as we have examples of things like guns that destroy the souls of those shot by them (Literally obliterating their existence. The Space Marine who used it was a highly trained and disciplined psyker, and he said the weapon burned his mind sight and he couldn't even remember who he'd killed with it, aside from the fact that they were possessed humans.)

The Human Empire did not cause its own fall. It won against the AI uprising. The birth of Slaanesh right after the win is what did them in. Nothing Big E could have done to stop that one.

Eldar are not particularly more powerful psykers than human psykers in general, it's more so that they're essentially ALL psykers and have had millions of years to hone their psychic disciplines.
