Smidge actually does have a sibling, a very fluffy grey kitten whom we spotted a few times but never managed to catch, but it's been a few weeks since the last sighting. We are hoping that someone else stepped up. I had big plans to name the grey one Pigeon so that it would be Smidge and Pigeon 😭

Fun fact! You can pop the eyeshadows out of the bento boxes. There’s a small hole under each pan and you can push them out and it will peel out. I added some magnet tape to the container to make them stay in again. Highly recommend as an add to your single eyeshadow collection!

I really loved the NO BUY year. Hannah was in such a time of self discovery and reflection that it really was infectious. When she shares how she used to buy and the money she spent and how her habits changed is really eye opening. When she says she loves beautiful things, she really loves beautiful things. I do this with my clothes! Once I wear an item, I move it to the "back of the line" so that I don't repeat outfits til everything is worn. I also find out if there is anything in my wardrobe I'm not interested in/dreading wearing. Helps me rediscover items, declutter, and assess my style!

that glow play blush looks stunning! a big component in my attraction to makeup is the tactile nature of products, the cream & soft powders is my personal paradise! makes me jump out of bed in the mornings. For the first 4 months of this year I put into a spreadsheet what I wore every day and it was fascinating to see what I reached for a lot. It also made me realise what I wasn't using and forced me to rotate my things more or declutter them. The second box idea sounds a lot like that so that'd be fun 😊 P.s. sometimes I still think about velvet dragon. I might buy it one day lol

I do something like this all the time but I only use things that are in the box. So I start with a full face in the box, some favorites, and some things I am trying to finish. And every time I want to use something new, I add it until the box is full and I start over again. It reminds me of how much I have.

I really liked this video and seeing what you wore over the last month. I love that you put the makeup in the box so you were forced to use more of what you have. I would definitely watch more videos like this showing a new month's makeup worn. Your videos have inspired me to really get to know the makeup I own. I was constantly buying new makeup, so much that there is no way I could ever wear it all. I have drawers full of makeup I have never touched! And I am still tempted to buy whenever I see something new. You have helped me counter those spending impulses because I am appreciating what I have and realizing that I don't always need what's new. I loved this video! I’ve been doing something similar with blush and lip products, I use them once and put them away during the course of a month. The goal is to wear what I own and also build a relationship with each item. Do I love it, why etc… I’m learning a lot about myself and my makeup wearing habits this way.

I highly highly recommend the Rosewater Bento Box if you're looking for special sparkle shades from Kaja - the lightest two in that trio are in my regular rotation. As someone with quite fair skin like you, the pinky hues are perfect inner corner highlights and all over sparkly looks. The darkest shade is similar to the shimmer shade the the trio you have but it's this super lovely browny mauvey rose color, it's hard to describe.

This was fun to watch and consider. I like the mini review aspect of it. I would love for you to do it again in any variety. I have only done this with lippies. It’s eye opening to see what I use and why. Sometimes I don’t use my favorites because I am too precious about them. I don’t want to be that way. Better to enjoy while the pleasure is available :)

I have one of the bigger salt pallets, it has the light bronzer, the contour, the bronzey & pearl highlighters & 4 of the blushes (2 were seasonal specials). I started out with one like yours & absolutely love it, seriously use it every day, especially great for every day/no makeup days. I have been super tempted to get the TF shade & illuminate & I keep reminding myself that my salt pallets are very similar. I recommend them to everyone I know!! FYI for reference I’m almost 49 & have dry skin so cream products are def a go to.

I just watched this video and decided to do my own eyeshadow version of it. I pushed all the singles to one side of the magnetic palette and will be moving them to another side as i use them and also i drew little versions of the premade palettes i have on a piece of paper so i can mark what i used. Which i think after about a week will be a less of "lets see what i gravitate to" thing and more about trying to use the whole collection. I already try to not repeat the stuff i do too much, but there are a handful of looks that i keep going back to. I am excited to see what i end up doing with more vibrant shadows

I was incredibly obsessed with the look with Leo and the Armani blush, too. So much so that I tried to recreate it by using the MAC Powder Kiss lipstick in Impulsive (the closest color I could find in my collection that I felt might work as a blush) on my cheeks and Leo on my lips the next day. I was so into myself too, lol. And I ordered the Armani today after wrestling with it for a few days. Do you think you might do a tutorial on that look at any point? I'd love to see exactly how you achieved the effect since your cheeks also looked so glowy. It's like my dream look.
