@@BlazeDupree1525 This comment thread is his character development/change in a nutshell. Himaruya originally designed him as a villain, but with time he became a derpy protagonist. Remember his first appearance was in the Maria Theresa arc, which was told from the point of view of Austria. But later on he was mostly seen through the point of view of Germany.
@@AnnaMarianne if you use that logic then everyone is a villain to at least someone. Sure he is an ass but I wouldn't really class him as a Villain. He isn't really evil, he likes to mess with people but he knows when not to cross a line, hell the reason he was dissolved was because he took the blame for the world wars even though it was honestly Austria's fault.
@@AnnaMarianne I'm so happy we ended up with this Prussia, cause it actually fits him more accurate, according to history. Prussia was a very powerful and strong nation, but it wasn't 'evil'. Prussia was allies with many nations, supported them, and was blamed for the World Wars. If Prussia became that 'villain' character Hima originally planned for him, it would be historically inaccurate. Prussia deserves way better if you ask me
@@BlazeDupree1525 bruh do you like not know how to read? The person above your second comment literally said Himaruya originally designed him as a villain but ok
Fandom: Prussia is a molestor, centered, loud mouth jerk, who isn't awesome at all Prussia: *being an innocent Christian boi who begged god for forgiveness when he touched young Hungary's chest, giving her his ENTIRE uniform cloth, looking away seeing her chest, and not doing anything bad other than that* AM I A JOKE TO YOU?!
That's one of the things I didn't like about the fandom. Some of the fans treat Prussia as a pervert, Spain as a p*do, and France as a r*pist, which are not true at all. And that's how they got the name "Bad Touch Trio".
I get he’s part of the BTT and it’s in the name, but they’re all beautiful and the shit they get is unacceptable. I fell in love with the fandom version because behind all of that, even if they mean to show him as a bad person, you can honestly tell he’s not, it’s so obvious. Prussia’s a sweetie at heart no one can tell me otherwise. Honestly reading in between the lines came in after the second fanfic, no one, and I mean no one can completely mask his character
@@ckarie3710 When I first saw Prussia, I thought he's like the "antagonist" of the anime (same with Spain and Denmark) because of a CMV I saw. But the more I watched the anime, the more i get to love Prussia (Spain and Denmark, too) and I guess I should say there are no antagonists in Hetalia.
And then the poor guy is hardly EVER mentioned in modern day history classes (at least where I live, I had ONE WHOLE SENTENCE about Prussian assistance in the American Revolution unit...)
And the fanfics do him so dirty and misrepresent his character into a huge dick. Yeah, he's annoying towards Austria, Hungary, and sometimes Germany, but he's not a bad guy! If fans took the time to read about his character and see the webcomic, they would actually say "Hey. This guy is actually pretty decent". There is so much about Prussia that no one knows about and I wish he was just given a bit more credit and appreciation, both irl and in the fandom
Um... I am starting to like Prussia alot... He seems to be more than a guy who calls himself awesome. And he respects Hungary. The crotch cloth incident was before his realisation, and yeah guys do that, with underwear. And to be honest, he is more historically accurate in personality, though his appearance and other features like he is left handed, would be taboo at that time. So if he has survived that taboo, with his looks and all, I'd say he is very awesome.
@@Ace-1525 frankly speaking, all the characters are very complex in their own ways. Austria being a musician, but depending on marriage to save himself, yet being the once owner of HRE. Italy being happy go lucky yet sober and comparatively level headed to an extent, etc... all the characters are unique and complex. You can't define a character with one word, well except for the person that the show off in majority.
Three months ago, I was in Germany and got drunk, there is a video from my friends and with me on the rooftop: *"My Milkshake brings all the boys"* Prussia ruined me Edit: Also, those friends of mine are German. Those devils-
i actually tried doing that once, but copyright had it out for me bc her clips were so long. and i couldn’t split it up and switch it around like i normally do bc she’s narrating and telling a story, rip. ultimately, copyright is my worst enemy 😔✊
Can we talk about how many frickin diaries prussia has!? Like he has enough for their to be practically a library of them! It makes me remember how old Prussia actually is nation-wise XD
Underneath the act, he probably hides all his insecurities and depression from his country dieing. (Prussia reminds me of my older sister and I'm like Germany)
Technically, I think that the personificatuons of countries fade away or die when their country dies. At one time in the comics he called Germany “West”, so I think currently he is now personifying east Germany.
1:22 the first time I saw this scene with all of his dairies, I was like, how? How the #?%! did you manage to write down your entire life? That's too much for me 😩
I named my parakeet Gilbert, naming him after Prussia because of the fact that he's albino and my baby chick. Then, later on, it turned out he loves to sing and play with his toys in a really fast, crazy way, so I think the name suits him well.
I just loved 1:14 when he said "That's right a Diary! A one that I've been writing in like a silly junior high girl since time began!" this is why i love Prussia/Gilbert Beilschmidt so very much🤣🤣🤣
