This is every time he almost died in the anime.......he has plenty of near deaths in the anime so I'll make a part 2. Man just can't die. Hell, he can't even kill himself even if he wanted to. Long live the Plot Armor Titan
@@kantoumanjigang Well I mean, it didn’t directly cut his head off, since it was placed on his torso, and Levi said it would just very badly injure him, so he’s alr ig.
@@SomeCloaker Useless? In Season 4 alone: he saved Zeke, Falco and Porco as well (if he can be considered). As the shield of the team, I’d say that is pretty useful.
@@NewYorkMikes2 Isayama does love this man so it won’t be surprising to see him be the sole survivor yet again and still have to live with everything he’s done.
Ya I don’t get how that was a one time thing and barely explained at all and seemed pretty important. Most Titan mechanics get brought up again like hardening, transforming, Titan screams, etc, but not this sole one for some reason
Plus his ability to exhale fire shown in episode 1. But I feel like the ability to transfer consciousness is just the armored titan as another layer of protection that is not physical armor.
How TF you shift you're consciousness if you have no brain? The fucking logic man I swear. TF you survive being stabbed through the neck where the nap is still have the wound and transfer your consciousness back? How TF didn't The Berholt not hurt him when he fell of the wall? TF did Reiner get on top of Eren & manage to get Eren on his stomach after Eren had him in a lock. Why didn't they just cut Reiner's caf when he captured Eren? The dumbest shit in AOT is Reiner and his goffy ass explanations that ONLY work for HIM.
The human body can surprisingly take a huge amount of punishment, instant death is rare, even what may seem like instant death, one can have consciousness for a few seconds, and a few seconds is all a titan shifter needs to transform
Just ass pulls really 😂 eren had just ate the war hammer titan and porco and Reiner were near death while mikasa and Levi were also on the battlefield but they still live to fight another day 😂
@@bryan6434 eren was tired as well. He had transformed 2 times and fought 2 titan shifters. He couldn't immediately use the war hammer titan due to barely inherent it and being tired. He also has some affection towards reiner. He chose to spare him both times. He wanted to see reiner again in the rumbling. Porco just got lucky that eren decided to call it quits and leave with mikasa and not send her to kill him. Levi was busy kidnapping Zeke And levi was reluctant against the attack on marley unlike Floch. I'm sure it took all of levis concentration not to kill zeke and stow him away in the blimp
@@grievingstereo8527 HE GOT STABBED IN THE HEART AND NECK AND FELL FROM THE 60M WALL I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT SASHA CANT SURVIVE GETTING SHOT IN THE HEART BUT REINER CAN SURVIVE ALL OF THAT (BTW SORRY FOR CAPS LOCK IT IS BROKEN)
@@thedarkonezi8321 I did too because he was trying to escape his past and he knew what he did was wrong, but then here comes Eren. And this time the roles are flipped and unlike Reiner, Eren was actually going to follow through with his plan.
*At the start of Season 4* *Laying on the ground after getting blown up by modern weaponry* Reiner: Please... No more... No more... *Then Eren pulls up later* Eren: *"It's... GOOFY TIME!!!!!"* Reiner: NO, FATE! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
@@priyashanti663 he has just recently transformed so there's no way he could do It again after that short period of time. Also it would of probably killed Reiner if he was standing that close to his neck.
@@a_randomkiller2872 he would be fine, the armored Titan is designed to survive the colossal Titan transformation, plus he can just like half transform
The music when Ymir said her last goodbye to Historia was seriously sad. And the part after the escape to the wall and she reach out for the moon. Goodness I couldn’t believe I cried for an anime
Should've just stayed with Eren and them, she would have survived, but guess she felt bad for stealing the power from Marley. Reiner and Bertholdt talk no just her into giving the power back.
I don’t believe that Attack on Titan has plot armour, plenty of characters die, and the ones that don’t survive through their intelligence and the sacrifice of others. But Reiner is dancing pretty damn close to the line, the ability to transfer his consciousness was used twice in a single arc and never came up again. That was 100% ass pull.
I really don't understand how the consciousness thing was brought up and never talked about again. Like how can something that vital be just thrown out the window. It would be the equivalent to Annie using the hardening and then we never hear about it again
@@NewYorkMikes2 it would have been so simple, just have Reiner loose his head when he loses a fight, maybe Eren could try to eat Reiner but it later be revealed he survived through his ability, but no. It was used two times.
Honestly when he transfered himself in the nerve system of the armor titan it was ridiculos. It is ridiculos already that he (and someone else) survived multiple bombs directly next to him already. But this was the cherry on top.
Y'know, like the Attack Titan has the ability to look into the future.. I think it would make sense for the armoured titan to have ~actual~ plot armour. Reiner has escaped death way too many times for it not to be a coincidence
Fun fact: the boy at the very end of the credits of the last episode was actually Reiner, having completely changed in appearance due to the physical toll of 20,000 years of being the only human left on Earth. He actually went into the big tree to search for something to kill him, which is what he has been doing the entire time since the Rumbling
Levi: Heh there, I finally killed the armored titan. Isayama; Hmmm how could bring him back..... aha! Reinier thinking: He only chopped 3/4 of my neck ,so I’m still alive.
Eren : *gets eated by a titan* but still alive Eren again : *gets kicked by LEVI* but still alive Eren again again : *breaks a arm* but still alive Eeren again again again:*gets eating again by the female titan* but still alive Eren : man i must be a god or something Reiner : hold my beer
It bugs me that Eren broke the 2 major rules of Titan powers: 1. If you get eaten by a Titan, that Titan takes your powers 2. If you're missing limbs, you can't turn into a Titan. He broke both rules simultaneously literally the first time he transformed.
I don’t know. I mean ya, I don’t think it kills the story but it definitely doesn’t help with this man constantly cheating death like that. I just didn’t like the one with Levi and how he cheated death. I feel that was just a stretch
@@NewYorkMikes2 that was def a stretch for sure. Even tho I was happy he survived he shouldn’t have. At least Isayama knows how to kill off other characters tho.
Never realized how many times Reiner has tried to kill himself before Act 3 of the story, maybe his plot armor was his tragedy, deny him death and make him suffer more for what he's done to his fellow man.
Reiner should’ve died when Levi stabbed him in both the neck and chest, but Isayama decided that Reiner would transfer is consciousness to his balls, which is never brought up again in the plot ever.
@@redwright8028 I'm glad the curse was broken but I wish he kept the armored and was able to live without the curse but I'm happy he's alive. He'd probably be like " the curse is broken I don't have the armored anymore, that means I'm.....not gonna die.......goddamn it!!"😂
Same, it's interesting how at first (season 1) i didn't care about Reiner Then in season 2 and 3 i disliked him because he was one of the """bad guys""" And then in season 4 when he's an experienced soldier with PTSD, he became my favourite character
He didn't spend all his Skill points on Endurance and Survival for nothing🤣 although i got to say that he is not the only one who's got a streak going on.
