I'm perfectly fine with DC experimenting with ideas in their movies and having their future DCEU movies stand on their own rather than connected to other movies. I'm really excited for both Joker and Wonder Woman 1984.
I think if Aquaman and Shazam are any indication then I’d say they have definitely learned that while also throwing in just a small little tease to wet our appetites so to speak Joker so far seems to be an interesting example of both a stand alone and an alternate universe timeline and we know how DC loves its alternate universes

It means that audiences can finally have a wider variety of films in the future, some can be fun and lovable like the MCU or 'Shazam', while others can be more serious and bold like 'Joker'!

I would love to see a Man of Steel 2! I think Henry is a perfect Superman and a great actor. Just hire some good writers lol. We need the Flash to go back in time, reset that justice league fail and create Justice League: Flashpoint. Then we can fix it and go back to Snyder’s vision for the sequel.

DC should announce each new movie after the previous one is finished. Like a teaser or trailer for the next one. It's a perfect marketing tactic. That way fans wouldn't be bored, but instead even more hyped for the next up coming movie...

I had no idea Jai Courtney played Spartacus' friend in that show until today. His death was quite possible the most heartbreaking, gut-wrenching death I've ever seen on TV. Seriously incredible show, the story and characters were so much better than they needed to be, anyone who likes Game of Thrones would love it and should check it out.
Honestly, they really need to fix their Superman problem. If their most recognizable character (besides Batman and Wonder Woman) is unlikable, then that is pretty much a rip for the whole franchise potentially being as profitable as marvel. They definitely won’t catch up anytime soon, but Marvel at least made its main Avengers likable before they branches out. They should just have a Man of Steel 2 movie with a new director and keep Henry Cavill.
Me too. I always enjoyed both movies. And I hate the fact that they will change Ben Afflect. I dont like it at all. Changing every fucking time. And the joker too, I really enjoy watching Jared Leto do his thing. For fuck sake they didnt even do him justice at all, now we will have another joker. Who i wont even bother to watch. I was hoping for Jared Leto joker for a full 2 hours movie.

Shazam is a box office bomb. On track for $150m total domestically and under $400m worldwide. Only 2 live-action superhero movies have failed to hit $500m worldwide since 2011 (Fan4stic and The Wolverine). Only 2 in the last 8 years. Shazam is set to be the third. Even with the low-ish budget considered, it's still massively underperforming.
I hope they continue to be good, but now that the whole "Cinematic Universe" thing they tried shit the bed really hard, I wonder what the point of having so many so quickly is.
Yeah I haven’t seen Shazam either, but I’m not holding my breath for it because it looks super cheesy even by superheroes’ standards. I hate it when adult actors act like kids because nine times out of ten, it just ends up being awkward.

Hey, Never say never. 6 years ago, if one had said that we would get an Aquaman movie, everyone would've laughed...but now, Its a billion dollar franchise with a sequel on the way. That said, I'd love to see "The Blue and The Gold " make it to the big screen.💯

I dont think they will ever make Flashpoint into live action, and with good reason, I doubt anyone wants to see Gal Gadot killing the Shazam family, well, only edgelords.
