The thing I like about Watchmen the most is that they're all named after renaissance painters & they all wear different colour headbands so you can pick them up in a crowd, even though they're all Ninjas who hide in the shadows & are never meant to be seen.

My favourite Watchmen spinoff is that one panel of Kingdom Come where Rorschach is hanging out in the metahuman bar.

I really liked the Watchmen Motion Comic, it was pretty cool to see scenes from the comic in motion especially the parts where it went almost 3d with comic book drawn rooms with people walking through them.

We all know that the Saturday morning Watchmen animated video is the best Watchmen adaptation.

The best Watchmen “follow up” was the convergence one shot where it was Watchmen but with the original Charleston characters and Vietnam was switched out for 9/11.

My favorite spin off is this video because it condenses all of the other spin offs and comics into a short 12 minutes video and tells you how good they are

I grew up on the Saturday Morning Watchmen. Rorschach’s friends to the animals! I’d go downstairs with a big bowl of frosties and a smile on my face.

I’m watching this video in 2021 because I started watching the show on HBO Max, and that R-rated animated Watchmen movie still hasn’t been made, which probably means it was canceled.

Back when Watchmen was first published, an official module of DCComics' role-playing game wax written by Alan Moore. I've not played it, but it is canon, and from the original author

Watchmen and Doomsday Clock are my all time fave graphic novel/comics ever. I’ve read and watched the movie and shows are masterpieces. Phenomenal, dark, thought provoking, deep, and very adult subject matter. I love it, I love DC. So much better than Marvel

I’ve got a better idea. How about everyone does this in December? Makes more sense seen as the last episode of this will be out and so will the last issue of doomsday clock. So we could judge both watchmen sequels properly then.

Only thing that disappointed me about Watchmen series was the fight between LG and the 7K happened off screen for some reason.

The point of Doomsday Clock is less of a normal sequel to Watchmen, but a sort of answer to it. Like a debate between the modern deconstructed ideas of that plagued superhero stories in modern day that came from Watchmen against the classical ideal of one. It’s a pretty meta commentary on how Watchmen influenced modern superhero comics. It’ll be very apparent in the final issue which will be all about Superman and Dr. Manhattan’s confrontation.

Fun fact Geoff Johns said the inspiration for Mime and Marionette, basically his version of two old Charlton Comics characters called Punch and Jewelle from like the 40's. Also my vote for what I'd like to see next would be the R rated animated movie but 3 movies. One of the prequels done in a series of short "chapters" done in a Tarantino style where they all link together by the end (hell just let Tarantino direct the film). 2nd of course based on the original comic and 3rd R rated Doomsday Clock

I’m really liking this series and so far, looking glass is my favorite character.

I love the new HBO show I think Jean Smarts Laurie Blake is my favourite version of the Silk Spectre and Regina King's Sister Night is so good. Also wanna give a shout out to looking glass who is also fantastic. I think there are good bits in Snyder's film for example Rorschach who I think was adapted almost perfectly.

I like the motion comic a lot in the sense that it feels like an audiobook, but if I could change anything about it, I'd add in all the supplemental materials from the end of each chapter, like the excerpts from Hollis Mason's book and what have you. The TV show (currently 7 episodes in as I get to this video) is fantastic still. Episode 7 is really shaky in that it reveals a lot about Senator Keene's plan that sounds really dumb, but I have a feeling that there's still a few tricks up this show's sleeve as we approach the last couple episodes. And hopefully a few more lube guys.

Before Watchmen: Minutemen is VERY good. If you're a Watchmen fan and curious to check out one of the spin-off thingies, this is definitely the one I would recommend most (aside from the HBO series).

Think the movie is the best adaptation of the comic formate to movie and the show is up there with the boys

You missed the Watchmen roleplaying game from the 80s which I think had new material from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons.

I enjoyed the motion comic back in '09 but I was pretty drunk.

I really like doomsdayclock? It's not on the level of Kingdom Come obviously but I feel like it's making the same kind of points. Feels like it's trying to make an argument against the edgy darkness that came from a lot of post-watchmen comics (which Moore and Gibbons have both voiced regret about) and that new 52 was pretty ripe with. Almost feels like an apology lol

Whenever another author, who isn't Alan Moore, tries to write Watchmen, it always reminds me of that time my mother was replaced by a shambling monster made of stitched together goat-hides. The hollowness in the eyes, the cold burning of its rancid spittle. The way the screaming and croaking sounds emanating from its throat attempted to emulate human words. It was like you could tell it wasn't really alive, or human, but it wanted to be. It was in pain, and needed to die, needed to have its faulty processor shut down, needed to have its hideous howls of agony erased in a fire hot enough to turn bones into ash. That's what that other Watchmen stuff reminds me of.

My favorite is Doomsday clock but when I wear a blind fold while reading it.

My favorite supplementary piece to the Watchmen graphic novel is probably the movie, at this point. I'm waiting to watch the show to decide how I feel about it and I haven't read any of Doomsday Clock. I did read a few of the Before Watchmen books and wasn't happy with certain things, such as the whole thing with The Comedian and JFK.

Don't read comics (I read a few when I was a kid, but prefer actual books for the most part), so all I've seen of Watchmen is the film. Which I liked. So I guess that's my favourite? But actually no I liked this video better, so *THIS* is my favourite.

There is also a creditable rumor going around that Tom King will write an on going Watchmen comic.

My favorite adaptation is the video game. No, I never finished it, but I bought it after playing the demo cause when you hit people their teeth seemingly flew out. But they had so much health that you would knock 30-50 out of them before they died so it probably wasn't supposed to be teeth.... but I had so much fun for about 30 minutes yelling at the enemy team "bitch you got too many teeth in your mouth" as I pummeled them. Plus it gets points for having a boss with a flamethrower.... where the only thing that the flamethrower changes about the fight is you can't punch him in the back....
