I came to see a tomato being cooked in weird ways and ended up listening to a broken man talking about his broken art dreams and being assaulted with tomatoes. Needless to say 10/10
Producers: You’ve spent a lot of money in 43 steaks and 43 salmon filets in the last videos, so we’ll have to cut your budget. We don’t even know what you can cook now. Amiel: toMAtO
Elliot Weir I feel like they’d run into the same problem they had with the sun-cooker-thingy in the egg video: New York in late fall doesn’t get enough sun to actually accomplish anything. Maybe if they remade it in the summer?
Finally. I've been ironing my tomatoes but toward the end I always end up burning my house down and having to move. I can't wait for Amiel to teach me how to burn it down quicker.
Sean the Garbage cat a friend of mine told that to some girl and she said “wait so time goes faster there?” she’s 14 and just figured out that a minute is 60 seconds
Tomato water is great in some cocktails- especially those based around gin, tequila or vodka. Mix in some cucumber juice and lime zest and you get a very refreshing drink for a hot tropical lunch... especially if the tomato pulp is used in that lunch... say in making pizza sauce or spicy Mexican beans.
And Bon Appetit would not be wrong lol. Imagine the steak one? I need 50 lbs of rib eye to make a cooking video then proceeds to eat a bunch of it raw with salt lol
everyone’s talking about how awkward it must be when he’s making eating noises during the voiceover but no ones talking about how awkward it must be to stand there and gesture at the tomatoes in silence during filming
Im learning to be a cook and these video’s are actually A really great way to learn different techniques while being playfull at the same time. Keep it up!
@Super Nintendo Chalmers That depends on what style of tomato soup. I've always made mine with a little cream, oregano, basil, fresh garlic, onion powder, black pepper, and a bay leaf.
Just do a dang onion now, a lot of people want that and it actually makes sense considering how many ways you can make a regular old yellow onion delicious.
Sincerely one of the most beautiful and most interesting things I’ve ever watched. This was gorgeously done, extremely well edited and entirely inspiring! The real homemade tomato paste and tomato powder are the most interesting and things I’ll have to try. Thank you!
Ksiądz Rybok right? Like yeesh before people were saying “ew noo” about sushi and now it’s mainstream. You never know what ends up being good until you try (although tbh it probs won’t be good ngl)
"Hello world 😐" "Uhh tomato soda...?" "We're going to spit roast this on a fire of broken dreams" I laughed out loud. These videos make me really happy
