@@ultr7712the double barrel AR does exist I think demolition ranch did a video on it, SMG though definitely not. Sort of an SMG is the gilboa but it’s a very compact AR15
@@gitupmechavvy2569 a double barrelled AR definitely exists that I know of, but the way the barrels are aligned on that AR is side by side which makes sense since ammo can be fed into both sides without much issue, in MW3 however from the images we have of the AMR9 double barrel kit it'll be top and bottom configuration, which makes very little sense when you think of how will the gun feed ammo into both barrels. I'd love to see how SHG comes up with its design once it releases.
90% of the video’s nitpicking is just due to the fact that they can’t make the real guns so they just change a little bit of it. It’s really not that big of an issue even if you’re a gun nut like me
On the ar9 stock: a company called dead foot makes short ar9 buffer tubes and the game seems to have based it on that. It is entirely possible to give this wierd stock to an ar9
@marksutton7240 in game it does not even have a proper ejection port. I think the carrier on the model should be ignored in this case. In the video they don't even make this distinction. Also the guy who collabed made a vid about this and got flooded with comments about this dead foot thing (i was one of them). The fact that they don't even mention it is embarrassing.
@@davitdavid7165we talked to a Gunsmith who analyzed the weapon. The model in-game wouldn't even support it. The Dead foot buffer tubes are also too long compared to the one in-game.
@munanchoinc I guess it is more defensible in that case. I think it should have been mentioned that such conversions exist, but are made impossible by the rest of the model instead of giving viewers the misconception that such things are completely impossible

How did you manage to miss the fact the piston leads directly into the magazine on the "AN-94" which means no matter the barrel choice, the gun wouldn't function anyways?
So the piston on the an94 is still in the same place as it would be on a standard ak the bottom tube that appears to be what houses the piston only really serves as a guide rod for the an94’s reciprocating barrel. However, given sledgehammer’s beautiful history of making “very accurate” depictions of firearms that probably is where the piston is located.

on the “mts-569”, you missed an inaccuracy. Despite the barrel being on the bottom of the cylinder to help with recoil, when partially reloading, the character removes the spent cases starting with the top right, as if the barrel were actually on the top like most other revolvers.

Additional notes: 1. Renetti has straight cocking serrations instead of the real life's angled serrations. 2. Not sure and correct me if I'm wrong, but there seems to be compensator cuts above the COR-45's slide, rendering suppressors useless. Regarding the different name and not using the X- system, the X16 in MW2019, and X12 & X13 in MW2022 are manufactured by XRK, while the COR-45 is manufactured by Corvus. In real life, there are different companies manufacturing their own Glock part kits. An example would be the PF940 in Insurgency: Sandstorm, a Glock 17 kit. 3. Regarding the 3D printed conversion for the Rival-9, cited from IMFDB: "Interestingly, this particular conversion has more real-world basis than any other in the game: there is an actual 3D-printable Scorpion Evo 3 file package available, the AWCY? Scz0rpion EVO, which can include M-LOK handguards of varying lengths; at least one version was built into a select-fire SMG (legally, by a registered SOT) using a factory S/1/3/A trigger pack, though no known examples are restricted to burst fire exclusively (whatever "known" means in the context of home-manufacturable firearms)." 4. For the FR 5.56, taken from IMFDB: "Unlike in MW2019, the rifle is incorrectly loaded with brass-cased rounds for most of its ammo types, including the default ammunition. It should be loaded with steel-cased rounds, as brass rounds were notorious for causing malfunctions. The only steel-cased rounds in-game that it can use are the Armor Piercing rounds." 5. In some Multiplayer insertion sequences, bare-bones MTZ-556 rifles are handed to the players and magically turns to whatever weapon they are using. 6. This is obvious, but there are no 40mm Grenade speedloaders in real life. Anything else that's missing here?

I'd like to see a video about the historical inaccuracies in the original Modern Warfare trilogy. Although there is an alternative history, the armies shown in these games can be assessed from the perspective of the time when these games were released - the late 2000s and early 2010s.
It's not just that, they can literally be sued if they represent the actual guns and manufacturers if there is a shooting. It's bad enough they always blame guns and video games when there is a shooting and if Call of Duty had the actual manufacturers and 100% accurate guns they would be in deep shit in California. Then it would be like they are promoting guns, "promoting" how to use them, etc. Politicians already think a person can be trained by playing Call of Duty.
@@slidersides still, they’d be put through a lot of shit if they used the actual names. Especially with America’s history with school shootings, In the past 3 years alone from 2020 to today there’s been 168 incidents of shootings, which compared to the last decade of 2010-2019 is TERRIBLE, since 263 incidents occurred within 2010-2019. So with how common school shootings in general. So if they ended up licensing the names. Don’t blame the company they’re just following the law, blame the parents of the victims of school shootings.
Dude you're so cool, I've been following this channel for such a long time. Keep doing what you're doing. I like the switch from historical innacuracies to weapon inaccuracies.
Id love to see you go through the attachments and their inaccuracies. There are so many optics that flatout dont exist or are absolute fever dreams of what theyre supposed to be IRL. But that video would probably end up being like an hour long lol
You're right about that but I'm happy that they've started to include optics on higher mounts which are very popular today for use with NODs. Their repetoir of optics is impressive, that model available optics today. The fictional stuff is a given with any COD game.
34:20 There is an M203 variant that has ejected casing (because it is compatible with M406 grenade of the infamous thumper) called T40 in its prototype stage. And it was equipped at small numbers in Vietnam's special forces since 2015 under the old name M203. I'm still don't know how in the hell Activision knew the existence of that thing, because of the info of that variant is extremely rare

I miss when they called an AK and an AK and not a Kastov. It irks me to no end, because I want the weapons to be the weapons that they represent. Like a Glock being called a Glock, or a SCAR being called a SCAR. I may be a minority in this, but I just want them to be named correctly and possibly, if Activision-Blizzard grows a few brain cells, look like the gun. Like just use a reference for the weapons you put in games. Lesser games like Insurgency Sandstorm, (I'm calling it lesser because it was made by a smaller studio- I think it's better in every way than modern CoD,) get the weapons rights. It can't be that hard
@@BasedMysticPikachu it wouldnt be an issue if it was like that from the beginning. an AK was called an AK in MW2019. next in line was MW2022 and now its a kAsToV 762? fuck outta here
Many European gun companies have US based factories or at least separate branding for imports like Koch. Other sectors like aerospace and automotive do similar things, usually to get around stupid US protectionism.

Don't tell him about the 60 round binary trigger Origin 12 knockoff, or the double barrel G36 conversion kits. I'm talking about the JAK Maglift and JAK Backsaw kits. Oh, and a conversion kit turning the MCX Spear into a lever action rifle.
At first, I thought this was a little silly, but remembering that Activision is a huge AAA company, there's no reason they can't make these guns accurate, and miss details like firing pins. Stylization is great in my opinion, but completely changing the gun and making it not work isn't cool.
To my knowledge, the PKP Pecheneg wasn't designed during the Soviet Union, but after the collapse of Soviet union. It is very close the the PKM, but its not a PKM.

Are you certain the Renetti isn't supposed to be a PT92 stand-in? I know the M9 would make more sense, but it seems to have more in common with the PT visually Edit: Also, the TYR would just be the Tyr, as in the Norse god of war and namesake of Tuesday. His name is pronounced like "tier".
Um, hate to criticize your weapon description, but at 6:39, The LWRC International was founded in 1999 at Cambridge, Maryland, USA. Therefore, it’s pretty unlikely that the LWRC SMG-45 was made in Germany. And at 8:38, the CZ Skorpion Evo 3 A1 is of Czech Republic origin, not USA.
That first one about the California legislation just proves that even with the 18+ rating of the game that the intended/core audience of Call of Duty is kids/teens...
I don't know if this is the case, but I believe the charging handle is quite literally just floating in the receiver. It doesn't reciprocate with the cycling of the bolt, and so in a system where the bolt locks to the rear (like the Tavor), if you tilt the rifle upwards the charging handle would just slide down to the bottom. Again, been a while since I've seen anything on how the guts of the Tavor functions, but that's what I would think is going on. Same with the Origin.

Cod has been making gun hybrids for decades. The naming is not because copyright, but so because no gun manufacturer wants their name on these when so many shootings are happening and they are being blamed
There is a few bolt action AKs but none of them look like that… *thing..* (Edit: Just watched the entire video, yeah he pointed out that bolt action AKs exist, my fault.) Also, I thought the Rsh-12 (“Tyr” in-game) was a Matever Chiappa, and I knew about the existence of the Rsh before buying the game, that’s how fucked up the model is in MW3
I feel like they changed all guns' names is not for some copyright reason and it's simply an excuse for them to fuck up every single one of them and not following the actual designs, so they can just be like ''no it's a fantasy weapon, not whatever you think it is.''
The California bill has nothing to do with copy write. It’s about not being seen as advertising guns to kids. Gun manufacturers WANT their guns in games, it’s free advertising.
Tbf since they aren’t officially partnered w/ the companies they can make whatever that want. You can thank worried moms who think school shootings are because Cod. There’s a whole video explaining why cod doesnt use the weapons actual name anymore. So there technically isn’t any inaccuracy. But if it was accurate to the actual weapon then it defeats the purpose of not being partnered anymore and lawsuits would still occur.
Remember the days when Call of duty took pride in dealing with real arms licensing to the point we knew what real firearms were instead of fictional garbage counterparts?
This is gonna sound kinda strange but for the next game innacuracies video can you make it count like mutliple different categories of inaccuracies like minor ones like wrong uniform or wrong gun calibre and then major ones like misrepresenting an entire faction? Just a thought.
I can't take this seriously "THis is a fictional weapon" *marks it as an innacuracy* Like bro, how sad is your life that you have to nit pick every single aspect of a weapon. Like the fact all names of the weapons were fictionalized should give you an HINT that the weapons themselves wont be 1:1 to reality, like when I think of "Weapon Inaccuracy" I think of like M1 Garand with Magazine that still makes a Ping sound or a revolving shotgun with a Magazine, not the fucking missing tiny detail in the asshole of the weapon. Like this feels like watching the Nerd Emoji for 37 minutes
Reading some of these comments have me feeling the same way. Like, how are you gonna make a huge deal about a weapon innacuracy in a video game. I've grown around guns for a good portion of my life and I like to think I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to how certain weapons should be. A game getting it wrong is literally nothing to nitpick or be upset about.
The idea with the various parts changing looks is to give you a version of that other weapon that you mention, without the devs having to make new guns. I think a lot of design inaccuracies are due to wanting to avoid copyright.
An inaccuracy I noticed on the Jak ferocity carbine kit is that all muzzle attachments are secured by thin air and are not actually mounted to anything at all. Meaning that in game they not only should not function but should also fall off immediately.

The pt 92 and the baretta are two different guns the safety is frame mounted on the Taurus and slide mounted on the baretta you can get baretta frames without the rail too
Although baretta just released a frame mounted safety just released the gts models which have frame mounted safeties which is kinda ironic since Taurus cloned a baretta but mounted the safety /decocker on the frame 30 years ago 😅
Yknow, if these all weren't supposed to be based on real guns, the weapon design wouldnt be *that* bad, theyre kind of uncanny valley guns. Like you know theyre supposed to be something, your brain recognizes them as that thing, despite not being them at all.
This is a very small inaccuracy but you labeled the CDX-50 Tremor as having originated from the United States when in reality Cadex is a Canadian firearms manufacturer. It would make sense if this was a typo though.
I have just 1 inaccuracy to point out in this vid. It is CZ scorpion and somehow you written a country of its origin as USA.😅 its a czech weapon made in czech republic
As much as I hate MW3, pretty sure a lot of these inaccuracies can be attributed to copyright. MW2019 did it too, i remember people making a big deal out of the Vector design
the SL8 is also depicted as a double stack mag whereas the real one is single stack, making it incompatible with g36 magazines. the SL8 is just the worst thing ever even IRL, and somehow this game makes it worse.
