I know how he is in his movies, but heck, if he can avoid saying "Hello Kitty is the cutest" in movies, he can avoid swearing on SNL. How can a professional actor not catch himself after the first swear word and not make the second if it was an accident? No apologies either. I wonder if What's Up With That fans are boycotting Samuel's projects.

If and when Kenan ever decides to leave SNL, EVERYBODY will come back for this sketch. It'll get the Stefon treatment, and it will be a 10+ minute sketch featuring Kenan, Fred, Jason, an endless series of guest cameos, and at least two, possibly three Lindsey Buckinghams.

When Eddie Murphy was on a couple of weeks ago, they had Sudeikis and Armisen in the cold open playing Biden and Bloomberg respectively for the election. Bill Hader could've slipped by for a quick minute. Hell-Lindsey could've even been in on it if Bill Hader wasn't available. IJS... either way, this will ALWAYS be hilarious!

I miss these sketches so much!! Kenan's reactions and facial expressions when the music would start playing was solid gold!!! Honestly people don’t give Jason Sudeikis enough credit. I went to a old school dance party once and I just looked at his dances in this just to prepare. It’s like dressing in 80’s and early 90’s clothes are easy but the dances are easy to forget. He actually did them well.

@Sam Trotter It’s in retrospect! People are talking about it in retrospect. At the time nobody talked about Sudeikis dancing. It’s more of him going on post SNL and doing We’re The Miller’s and other projects. Then watching old episodes and saying Sudeikis was actually good in this sketch. At the time nobody really said anything. It’s like Bill Hader doing Stefon. It’s more appreciated later than at that time.

Bill Hader and Jason Sudeikis leaving SNL is the reason why what's up with that stopped. Kenan had the option to do it without them, but he chose to stop doing what up with that instead, and move on to doing new things.

When Kenan says, "That's expensive" in the last clip, he's referring to the fact that Samuel L. Jackson cursed in the live show (it was muted here). They get fined if they curse on television, even if it's completely accidentally. I think they had already been fined that season, so it was a problem.

You gotta appreciate the genius camera blocking and direction of What’s up with Dat. Straight up comic book imagery. Every one makes me think of a classic MAD magazine cartoon. All the craziness in the background, and foreground. I never get tired of watching them.

One of the best skits that uses the camera. It feels like every inch of the frame has something fun to watch. Visual queues from off screen that affect the scene, people flying into frame, the camera panning over to show a visual joke, and the real comedy coming from the background and corners. You could watch the whole set no problem but then rewatch to catch everything
