This is a true story. Chris passes with a 735 score and the guy he was looking at that looked suspicious with the grey jacket on is who made Chris Rock a comedian.
Chris Rock did get his G.E.D. Though for "Chris Williams" we will never though. Since the show leaves us on the cliffhanger "Soprano's style" type ending.
Had to do a little looking into this show and Chris's really family. It turns out Chris did get his GED in real life but if he truly got it in 87, his dad died just one year later. :( He died in 88 of complications of an ulcer surgery or something like that. He had a lot of health problems in the series maybe he did in real life too.
The show ended because the moment Chris gets that GED... his childhood is over. Thus, he's not a kid anymore and so the show's over. "Everybody Hates Chris" was about the childhood of Chris Rock--his late childhood as a teenager.
@Bryan7401 yeah here is why "Actor Terry Crews, who plays Rock's dad in the series, says, "Chris Rock didn't graduate high school and started comedy when he was, like, 17 years old. Our Chris (Tyler James Williams) is now a sophomore in high school, so the timing is lining up pretty well. Once he becomes a comedian, the show's over."
@MichaelJackson0o He becomes a successful comedian, leaves bedstuy and is in movies like Head of state, Beverly Hills Cop II, and does stand up specials like Bigger and Blacker. Then years later does a sitcom about his life called "Everybody Hates Chris". Lol.
@venomgold you cant see it on here because they dont show the part you have to see it frmo when chris' dad is parking his truck there is a number on the lower right I believe
wat does his dad dying have to do with it i thought its jus about him and ged i didnt kno this episode was about his dad dying also someone plz explain
@P0larBeaRRR .... wow. Everybody Hates Chris is based on the life of Chris Rock, yes a real person. That should answer your first question, if it doesn't then that's pathetic.
@@nandomartinez229 well you see it should've ended when the mom was like you've passed and then everybody celebrates and cheers and all that stuff that would have been better
The ending is a spoof of The Sopranos series finale. Also, When Julius parks his truck, the camera closes up to the number 735 which is painted onto his truck. The number is implying 735 was Chris's score, which means he did pass his GED (a 92 percent), considering GED is scored out of 800.
