Man I just found this guy and I love his content so far!

I saw that when it came out a few weeks ago and honestly really enjoyed the different "format" ie watching you have to finesse your way out of a bad situation. Not knowing who the crypto guy was, I did realize "this guys probably one of those geniuses in his field who's just bad at articulating and/or getting on in age and not as facultatively nimble as he could be" and still respected him, while acknowledging that to the general audience you made him look like a fool (which he definitely isn't). Great display of the reason you are where you are; because of your sharpness, facultative strengths, and amazing mixture of both high EQ and high IQ. Also a good personal reminder of why it's important to retain those faculties by doing things like eating right, exercising, and laying off alcohol/substances. All that being said I'm still waiting for the right person to be able to properly articulate the counter points to your arguments. There's definitely some holes in your ideas/philosophies in general that could be picked open, though you'd definitely be able to bring it down to a stalemate of "well, i fundamentally believe this, and you fundamentally believe that". Not gonna pick them apart myself in writing cause I don't wanna give you or the glowies who have their eyes all over your social media the chance to pre-build emotional or logical counterpoints in advance ;) tl;dr love listening to you express your mind, loved that crypto podcast episode, love watching you display your social and psychological skills, and hoping you meet someone of equal power one day, so we can see a real fight (rather than you just stomping on everyone, lol) because at this point i've watched almost all your podcast appearances everywhere, and honestly you seem to have an almost 100% success rate at exerting your influence-- which is starting to feel like watching a pro beat up amateurs over and over again

I listened 3:12 to that whole interaction between you and David, and it was very very very painful to listen to. The most annoying part was the fact that David spoke in circles, constantly interrupting you, and came off as a know it all, but, in reality, Could not acknowledge that. He has a very limited perspective with tunnel, vision, and blinders on. I was ready to strangle him.

Wow! This podcast reminds me of my dad, sir.

In an argument if one person is a fool, he loses. If both become emotional fools, the one who wins (by being the more emotional fool) is the one who loses. Who wants to prove himself the bigger fool?

That was new… last to lose it gets the most condemnation… okay. I’ll keep that in mind. I usually mediate between managers and act as a tip of the scale… I make a point out of remaining neutral and even cheerful to ease the tension - we are there coz’ the 2 of them couldn’t make it work… and I use my temper as a tool. As long as they are arguing, that’s fine… to and from, pro and contra. When they start to get emotional about it, Intry and put in the breaks, outline the facts, achievements until now, weigh options. If they can’t snap out of it during my interjection… (and I’ve had to use this maybe twice during my 15 years of work) … then I do raise my voice, but in an effort to get shock: “Losing it is not helping… as you can clearly see.” And the end of the sentence will be calm and quiet again, trying to bring them down with me… It’s worked until now… but I may have undermined my professionalism with it… I’ll think on it.

I just watched the first half of that xx video. Omg, cringe! It was almost hard to watch how that conversation with a much lower class of argument style unfolded. It did however give a great lesson on how to speak with people of every walk of life and every caliber. All i have to day is..... "Welcome to Trade Craft, David" !!!! Rofl!! That dude was so defensive and felt he needed to talk constantly because he didnt want you to taok at all. He admitted he didnt realize who he was dealing with going into the pidcast. I went to college about the same time as David. I was waiting for him to talk about "big oil". I enjoy listening to your perspectives.

Andrew you yourself have stated that what NSA was doing (spying US citizens) was good. It's seams that you haven't think this thing trought carefuly.

After watching I think David’s views are very valid, he’s just not a very good communicator. Andy’s views are realistic, but I’m inclined to lean towards an idealistic view. David’s assertion was simply that privacy from the State is fundamental to a healthy democracy and society. But is this more important than dismantling terrorist cells? Well since no information on this secret work is shared publicly I have to yes it is more important. Our security agencies should afford us the ability for true privacy and be better and more creative at catching who they need to catch. At least for now court orders for surveillance and things should be far more difficult to obtain from Judges and there should be far more impartial oversight.

I feel like the NSA can use AI to farm anything they want. So David is a computer geek, with all due respect. For someone with basic negotiating or debate skills to win an argument there that would be equivalent of beating a child, not sure if they award any ribbons for that. Also you promoted your podcast, which otherwise would never be found on RU-vid, that's basically it. Nothing wrong with that I guess but I expect a bit more. Also, a state does not equal democracy.

I like your content but you ramble, i know it is good stuff but i have personally stoped watching some of your videos because i clicked it for what the title says but then you go on for minutes about the past, i know to grab the subconscious you create the setting, but i think you are going too long. Went and watched the vid and Andrew comes off as combative and emotionally attached to his point. Pretty forceful delivery and the whole “I just don’t know what David found so offensive” and “David was emotional” are projections. Andrew created this whole video as a defense against his own failure to keep it together calmly. This is how propaganda works lol.
