I don't believe in cancel culture, but it takes time to demonstrate change - I'm glad to see the brand is taking it seriously and shared an action plan, but I hope we'll start to learn about some of their progress soon 👍 x

The Chanel eclat lumiere concealer used to be my everyday go-to as well! I have now switched to the Sisley Paris Stylo Lumiere if you care to try it out yourself. I found the switch to be wonderful, a cushion pen rather than brush pen, and it seems to me the product lasts longer without drying on the pen. Would highly recommend!

you should try out this brand called kaja beauty- they have gone a bit viral on tiktok recently because of how creative they are with packaging! I would love to hear your thoughts on if the products are overrated just because of their packaging!
The older I’ve gotten and the clearer my skin has gotten the more I want to show it off in its natural but enhanced state. I’m really glad I found this channel because now I have an idea of the products I should be using to achieve that look

Your website is so lovely, helpful, and... crisp? This might be a strange adjective to describe it but an accurate one nevertheless! :) I would love to see a video or post on favorite makeup brushes! I don't use brushes a ton because I enjoy using cream products with my fingers or the applicator, so I would love to see an edit of some of your favorites for different steps and uses! x
If you've already done it sorry (I couldn't find it) but I would LOVE to see swatches from Daniel Sandler. Particularly his watercolor blushes and bronzers and the gel blushes that I've heard are actually better than cloud paint!

The ohii lip smudge in cerise is such a gorgeous colour and an even more beautiful formula ❤️ I have super dry lips but the lip smudges never dry out my lips!!

I‘m currently using up old stuff, but if I had to pick my favourite fast five, they would be: RMS Uncover Up Concealer to brighten my eyes RMS Magic Luminizer as an eyeshadow and highlighter duo (if I feel like highlighting) Naturaglacé Lipstick 09 Nude as a blush and lip duo, sometimes even as an eyeshadow „Und Gretel“ Wint Mascara in black Josh Rosebrooks hairspray to fix my brows (I have super dark, bushy brows naturally, so I won‘t need any colour) I‘m experimenting with eye looks more often now, as it is the only thing visible under a mask. I tried Fitglow color corrector in Peach but wasn’t sure about it in the beginning. Brought it out again & decided I really like it. I used Becca’s corrector for quite a while & do like it as well

I am very passionate about sunscreen. So glad you mention it as a very important step. I wear sunscreen even on rainy days, and Vancouver BC has plenty of those. Shu uemura brow pencil is another must for me. Mona Lisa is my nick name which says it all. Subscribed!

nothing gets me more excited than everyday makeup for some reason 😂 wonderful video as always, matilda! i remember those ohii lip smudges coming out and was intrigued then. the way you described them reminds me of one of my very first makeup products i stole from my mom, the bare minerals purely brilliant lipstick in delicate cinnamon. i loved it so much i have the name memorized. it’s definitely gone bad by now. might have to try the ohii version out!
I think you would really enjoy the finnish brand lumene! Their blur foundation is my holy grail, but I also really enjoy their invisible illumination serie.
I have the Ohii Lip Smudge in the shade Motive and I love it!! It’s a pinky peach color, similar to the way the Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam looks on my skin, but of course, on my lips instead of my cheeks! It’s the only shade I have but I really want to try more!!

Hey Matilda! I don't think I've seen you show Westman Atelier products yet. My staple this year, under the mask that has to be worn at work (silk, by Natalie Begg, that I handwash and dry with the Dyson) is the Peau de Peche super loaded tinted highlighter... It is wondrous... Keeps me looking alive without being overdone, and the gleam on the cheek bone in a Zoom call is beautiful. And smells lovely. Highly recommend.

Hello there Matilda.. this is one of my favourite types of video. As I work from home and have many online meetings I have learned a short routine too. After skincare a light coat of IT cosmetics Your Skin but Better, strong eyes (but not ‘night out’ eyes!!) as they show better on screen so fill in my non existent brows with a similar product to yours but mine is Bobby Brown, followed by Hourglass, Kevin Aucoin or Georgio Armani mascara, Urban Decay tight lining (hooded eyes) and then Nars the Multiple in Riviera (gorgeous pinky tones) for a gentle pinky ‘fresh air’ blush and finally a deep lip (maybe Bobby Brown in Cranberry or Plum as it picks up better online!). It presents a bit of a polished but haven’t tried too hard look and all in less than five minutes for me too!! Thanks as always Matilda for your inspiring and inclusive content 👏👏👏 SYNT 👋 ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Daisy! ☺️ I've been making videos in this style since 2017, and have been sent that channel several times this year. Unfortunately I see it as imitation, not inspiration. If you thought it was 'identical' and my channel came to mind while watching, that's saying something. Unfortunately it is very difficult to protect your style and intellectual property online, so I see copycat content quite often but don't have many options to prevent it. I always appreciate viewers calling it out! x
