For anyone with sensitive skin and looking to get the Ultra Violette sunscreen, wait till September, they're coming out with spf 50+ physical sunscreen with no fragrance. They currently have a new physical sunscreen called the clean screen but it's only spf30 if you'd like but for a stronger one you have to wait a few months.

I've taken this quarantine as an opportunity to go back on my medicated acne wash, which makes my skin super dry and sensitive, so I've just been layering on the mosituriser and spf and letting my skin breathe!

I am lucky that my office shifted to working from home seven weeks ago. I knew I needed a space for my work setup. I’m very minimalistic at work so I set up something similar in my den. Having that dedicated space has been wonderful. I have just a few things things on my desk aside from my computer and three screens, two of them being a hand lotion (L’Occitane Rose Hand Cream) and a face mist (Mario Badesco Lavender). I also keep a lip balm tucked under my screen just like at my office. Those three keep my skin hydrated. I still get dressed but with more casual clothes than I would at the office, which is very formal. I have an app that gets me up to drink water, move a bit, and stretch. I also have a reminder on my computer to start my closing down process. So far, I’ve been able to balance life well. Doesn’t mean I don’t get down, but the routines propel me forward. I use the pretty colorful pens, the good stationery, anything to keep my mood happy. But I have to say the biggest assist has been in the shape of LoFi music. I can’t listen to anything at work, but at home, it helps me concentrate. I hope this helps someone.

I have been wearing 40s-50s inspired outfits and makeup for about 5 years now. It makes me so happy to feel put-together in a way that feels good and unique to me. Save for a couple of bad days, I still wear full vintage at home during quarantine. My two must-wear products are my eyeliner and red lipstick. My skin has really appreciated a break! I'm also looking into more 60s style from the comfort of my home before I take it out in the streets.

Thanks for sharing this! There were days during this quarantine that I decided not having a routine at all: wake up late, no skincare, no makeup, no exercise, and it didn’t feel right! So now I am now constantly finding the best routine, and so far includes: early rise, meditate, stretching / exercise, MORE skincare, minimal makeup to add the mood for work (concealer, brow pen, cream blush, tinted lip balm). And of course, a nice comfy shirts! (Pajamas make me feel lazy lol)

One tip that has really helped me is having one spot or room for work. When I’m in that room or space I’m in work mode, and when I leave it I’m in home mode. This really helped me. I also set time blockers. For example, if I had a report due, I would set a timer for 30 minutes and only focus on that report for that amount of time. I know I’m late but these tips and tricks have really helped me with work/life balance!

My everyday makeup is now getting an upgrade, since I have time to test things. Usually I’d wear quite a few things, but now it’s just: priming moisturizer, some cream blush lipbalm and eyebrow gel☺️ it makes me feel good and still have the joy of applying makeup❤️

Thank you Matilda for this! I'm one of the people who is not applying any makeup but I am sticking to a skincare routine. It has done wonders and my mother was recently surprised by how better my skin looks. Pixi Beauty Rose Oil Blend and of course some Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask. I'm trying not to use up any of the more expensive products I have. In terms of productivity I am quite similar to you. I have a great colleague who understands how difficult it is to work from home and we take things slowly with intermittent breaks (mostly reading or a Tv show in my case).

Skincare has been the focus. Misting throughout the day, face and hair masks. Skin has been loving the break, natural curls are getting their bounce back. I'll definitely be reducing my routine and amount of products I use and buy when things resume.

Love your content! Its like a soothing bath. I have been WFH since March and have 2 kids at home. I have never cooked, cleaned and organized in recent memory. I am taking this time to make new recipes, learning new skills or tech at work (Power BI) and keeping an exercising routine. BUT I am living in sweats and workout clothes (I like being half way dressed to workout every day). I'm relying on more skincare and a more haircare since I finally have the time. Your sharpie inspo is dead on, I sent it to my 10 year old to take a look :)

Finally someone else who wears SPF inside! I use a moisturizer with SPF every day while in quarantine because a) my desk is next to a window and b) I'm using an acne medication that makes me a bit more sensitive to sun. My parents think I've gone insane and and are always saying "you don't need sunscreen to sit at your desk!" At least Matilda agrees with me 🤣

One tip for working from home: I have done a few video lunch calls with co-workers. Normally we would get lunch together and having a virtual lunch is awesome. On beauty, I've actually been wearing a good bit of make-up but my favorite item is tinted lip balm. I was just given two new Olio e osso balms as an early Mother's day gift (Persimmon and Tea Rose). Those have been amazing. One question: how long have your Olio balms lasted?

I only wear makeup on my Zoom call days for work MWF. I've kept it to curled lashes, light reflective concealer, the Undone gel bronzer you turned me on to, and a tinted brow gel with a little pencil if I need it. Clothes-wise I get fully dressed in jeans and a nice shirt every day!

Doing my skincare routine and having matcha lattes is my big musts! I usually don’t get dressed right away I tend to wait until 9am-10am (don’t know why). The main thing I want to change is getting up early enough to finish my breakfast before I start working. Otherwise my food gets cold and and get so wrapped in my work I basically forget to finish it.

Since quarantine I’ve felt so under stimulated which led me back to a depressive mindset which I thought I’d left behind in high school, but I’m slowly making my way back. Idk if it’s like this for anyone else but when I’m depressed I don’t take care of my self so lately I’ve been trying hard to remember to do that and skincare seems to be way in the door at the moment

Your videos are a absolute perfection! I’m a freelance artist so I have to really listen to when I’m feeling creative and when I need to do more admin work or shipments. I tend to set alarms to remind myself to eat and when to stop working but there are nights I will need to work until 1 am. It’s all about the balance and listening to the creative flow as well as taking care of yourself.

Definitely on the list wagon! I use a bullet journal, which has been my schedule manager for my day to day and monthly schoolwork deadlines. I haven't done my makeup in weeks, so this really inspired me to give it a try, at least a minimal look to lift my mood!
