In this context, the word man is referring to mankind. Genesis 5:2 Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created.

I'm still trying to understand the basic fact. Is a female human being never able to be in the image of God even after being saved? If she was never the image of God to begin with then how does being saved suddenly make her in the image of God? When you're using the word mankind are you sometimes only meaning men and other times meaning male and female both?

Dr. K I've been going through you genesis videos again. I forgot how good they were. Now when I reread the Bible I see it so clear. I try to teach other people the way you explain it and what it says but they look at me like deer in headlights. No lie it's difficult trying to talk about the bible to people.

When i read about Aaron making the golden calf. By discernment I recognized a similarity with Adam and Eve in the garden. The purpose of the Golden Calf was as an image of the new God-man to restore their fallen state in heaven. Then when Moses returns, this is the same as when God found fallen Adam & Eve hiding and embarrassed. Moses order the sinners grind up the Calf to dust and eat it as the Serpent was cursed to live-out the rest of its existence.

Thank you Pastor Kim! I was wondering if you could give a lesson on how to save souls. I have a few people (some family and friends and a couple of people who just wander around my town where I work) I would like to minister to and help lead them to Jesus, but I don't know how. I don't want to turn them off or say something wrong. I feel as a newly saved person that has been studying the bible, but I'm by far not an expert, I may do more harm than good if I try to minister to them. What if they have questions for me that I can't answer and they think I'm just a dimwit who doesn't even fully know what I am talking about.
