The one we served at the Thai restaurant where I used to work was a very simple recipe. Bring rice wine vinegar to a boil and add sugar until viscous (about a 1:1 ratio.) Chill the dressing. Chop cucumbers, red onion, cilantro, and small tomatoes. Pour the chilled dressing over the mixture. I see a lot of variations of the recipe online. We didn't put chili in ours, if someone wanted chili oil, chili sauce, or crushed peanuts we served them on the side. Some recipes call for a bit of ginger in the dressing.
@@Emeruld1 oh wow. Do most Muslims not use ingredients that have any alcohol content to cook, even when it'll all evaporate? I'm curious bc my dad physically can't take any alcohol, like at all, but he's still ok with cooking wine and mirin because there won't be any alcohol left in the food.
@@destituteanddecadent9106 yup yup. Muslim here and we don't use any sort of alcohol in our food (or drink) even when it evaporates cuz it's forbidden to be used in any manner according to Islam. Hope that helps out😊
Thank you so much for the recipe! No one ever puts the recipe in. Thank you so very much! It absolutely looks delicious! I can't wait to make it from my husband
The recipe is usually in the description when it's a short. Click on the three dots in the top right, and click description. It's not *always* there, but often you can find it there.
I have to say your channel is great, your recipes look so flavorful. This teriyaki chicken dish is the first recipe I tried from you, my husband and I absolutely LOVED it!!! I need to try more of your recipes, it seems like I will love all of them!
You mentioned jasmine rice that I love and prefer, but I'm wishing someone with extensive knowledge of the different types of rice would post a tutorial. I know some rices are better for one use over another. Thanks for sharing. Yummy recipe.
