I use cardstock paper cut to size of Kindle, decorate it with stickers than put it in the clear case. I tend to do it for holidays and seasons. I’m able to reuse them over and over again.

i love love love my kindle!! but i forgot it at my sister’s apartment so i won’t have it until may ☹️. i’m like you!! i also go through phases. i think the kindle helps me get out of reading slumps

In regards to the lag, it's not lag its a different type of technology. So I don't think it will be ever fast at least not for a while yet lol. I actually quite like it. Like you I go through phases of reading in general and relatively new to the reading thing, for this reason alone I did not get Kindle Unlimited. I either by the 99p releases or freebies and at a push I may spend £4-6 on a book. I'm also more of a slow methodical reader so even if I read consistently I may only read a couple of books a month. Baring in mind I still have a few physical books to get through. Plus there have been alot of books I wanted that are not included on KU. This doesn't mean to say in the future if I get more into reading I wouldn't ever consider at least trialling it out.

I think you can change the margins so that your page clicker won’t get in the way

Only reason I stopped using pop sockets was because it took away from my sticker placement. So I like removal hand strap that’s another alternative for those who don’t want a pop socket.
