Truuue. I'm 208 pounds and 5' 8". Literally haven't been to the gym yet because I know that if I do go, I'm not gonna know what the hell to do when I'm there.

@@spynix0718do it i didnt know either AND i refused trainers help bc of social anxiety but i just went to do cardio for the first time and copied 2 other things from other people there and then did those until copy catted everything lmao and now even as a 15 yr old teenager i do everything and other people politely help you if you do something wrong
I’ve never worked out a gym till yesterday and cannot wait to get back to my old habits of taking care of myself. It’s a great first step and I’m nervous af
I was self conscious about going to gym for a bit but seriously when I say no one cares and is just there to chill and work it's so a good environment! Hope your training goes well ♥️
Today is my first day at the gym. My journey begins… Edit: So a lot of you guys have been asking for an update, so here’s an update after4 months: i went regularly to the gym ever since i started it, and imma be honest with u guys, i didn’t really gain any weight or muscle unfortunately despite consuming protein shakes after workout all the time and eating more meals per day, but my shoulder and chest muscles been pumping insanely though and i almost feel like bruce lee now when i look in the mirror wearing a tank-top ( even though I’m not even close to his physique but yeah…) I really appreciate your support guys, it really means a lot. Every time i read a comment, it really gives me the energy to keep training and keep my streak going 🔥 you guys have been really supportive and i can not appreciate that enough🙏 love you guys and thank you so much for the encouragement and support ❤️ I promise that i will not give up 💪 Internet never disappoints😭thank u guys again for the support and for pushing me towards what i wanna become ❤️❤️ Ps: I’m sorry for not responding to the comments cuz i have deactivated all my social media accounts lately and i just logged in to this yt account today. I just not have been ignoring you guys.
@@justenhearn5179it’s cause people that arnt very strong really don’t need them cause the monster dudes are lifting 100s of pounds and there grip strength can’t keep up
I used to do competitive powerlifting when I was young (I was national champion in my weight division). Then I got hurt, got lazy, and never went back. Fast forward 20 years, I'm 46 and going back to the gym tomorrow. Nervous and excited.
Agree on the gloves but wrist wraps are still necessary when going for heavier sets, sometime it gets too heavy that your wrist gave out before the main muscle group got tired, and the wrist wrap is perfect for that
Let's be real, nobody who isn't years and years into training needs wrist wraps. Unless you're benching 315+, your wrists hurting likely means your form is shit or your forearms are weak
Wrist wraps are for chicks and is cheating. And you will only be cheating yourself. Gloves stink like shit. Just use hand strength, develop grip. Don't be such a sissy.
Walking past a girls camera while she’s lifting and her getting all butthurt about it then she puts you on blast on her IG account is keeping you big as hell
Also why would anyone want calluses on their hands? They can get infected, or they can make you hands really rough, and when you wanna touch yo girl with those hands she's gonna get as dry as the Sahara desert 😭
Bro, I was high AF today watch a Rich Piana video and as he was making a protein shake he said "remember guys, gotta juice" and i had a breakthrough. If you want gains, you don't need a surplus of calories in food, you need a surplus of calories in DRINKS 💪🏻 dude put 12 eggs and half a box of cocoa puffs in a blender 😂😂 Imma buy 2 blenders and starting juicing myself 💪🏻
I already got a membership but dont got a clue what to do when i come to the gym so embarrassing. I normally someone who love to got his shit ready. This situation got me messed up.
I got a ganglion cyst on one of my wrists from moving 3,000 boxes a day at fedex, and though it shrinks a bit every month, it's still around after over a year and a couple months. I absolutely need wrist wraps or a glove with wrist wraps on it in order to work out. Otherwise my cyst is going to take even longer to heal. I had one on my foot also from standing up 8-14 hours a day for three years and that took 2 years to completely disappear.
I have finally made it to my goal weight at home. I have horrible skin tightening issues so I was thinking of going to the gym now. I lost 96 pounds at home and I look so bad. What gym workouts will help me? I am also now scared of getting to underweight. I have had 7 children so my ab area is a mess. Sometimes I regret getting into shape. 😢😢 Gym here I come.
Nah, wrist straps are a great help. Your back is always gonna be stronger than your grip. You want a big back? Get straps and train your grip separately.
If you wanna save a buck make your own liquid chalk. Alcohol and regular chalk into a an empty water bottle. I’ve made two full bottles in maybe 5 years.
Today is my first week of gym. I don't use that gloves, but it give me some sort of like blister (idk the english word of it) can you guys give me recommendation on how i can get the six pack in my abs?
So I'm a big guy I'm 6 ft and around 370 pds I want to start exercising and getting away from sitting down so much but I don't know where to start I've been going on walks and trying to do pushups and I do situps pretty well but I don't know if I'm starting out correctly I wanted to ask this to get some advice and what not
You said “be a man” with the gloves, but I’m a 12y old girl…. Do you think the gloves would distract me or not, because my hands aren’t exactly “manly” yk (genuinely asking)
