Spoilers? Man rest in piece bluebell! It was so sad to see her get taken by the bird the last minute. And to Lucky pack...I think Crow might have to kill one of those wolves so they can get out of his territory. Although killing a wolf is pretty sad, they're constantly putting his pups in danger so I guess nature has to take it's course....

Oh man RIP blue bell 😔. First Petra losing two pups, with one being to an eagle, now Crow losing a pup to an eagle smh. I find it easier when I go into pup/1st person view and look up at the sky following the eagle that way while growing and snarling. I’ll also woof for the pups to go in the den, but while still following the eagle. Seem as if it’s better to pay more attention to the eagle than the pups TBH.

I've tried using the headcam method but unfortunately that usually winds with me getting stuck on ground clutter D: I don't like doing it if there's anything in the vicinity I can get caught on. I've had the most luck by following the eagle's shadow, but that depends on when it's easy to see unfortunately :(

@@JayPlays535oh wow that’s interesting. I guess different play styles for different people. Only time the head cam has failed me is when the eagle flew into an area covered by trees and lost track of it, then it grabbed a pup.

I can't use headcam mode because it's so frustrating to see what's in front of you and also focus on where the eagle is going. I always get caught on rocks and stuff

I share the same frustration and anger for the Lucky Pack. By far (at least for me) the most annoying pack for me in Wolfquest! In all of my playthroughs, Lucky Pack is the most persistent in getting rid of my territory and attacking my pups. I have never had so much trouble with any of the other wolf packs, including in Amethyst Mountain. Every time I encounter them, I hold such a grudge that I don't mind killing one of them. An eye for an eye I always say, although in this case it means death! They won't be so "Lucky" when they come across me.

Van Winkles here lol. They beat my poor first time mother/ single mother (mate was killed by a bear) to within an inch of her life twice and killed all but one of her pups before she finally found another mate and managed to turn things around.

same here, atlas and his mate recently got a litter of 6 pups. it wasnt long until we got a bear attack, but right after 2 attacks of the lucky pack. one of the pups then got sick, and i had to stay 3 days at home because of it. (she luckily survived) But during that time, lucky pack was just casually going straight into weaking my territory, van winkle also coming a little from the upper top of the territory. in total, lucky pack is a jerk

It's funny, every new map there's one pack that is more aggressive than the others. They're kinda just the packs that you can't help but hate (Lucky, Junction butte, etc).

i honestly think it depends on player experience, lost river pack seens to bother me more, though lucky is annoying, and as for am and slough creek its lamar canyon and crevice lake for sure

@@stvrfang For me and seemingly Jay, lucky pack is a bother and Junction butte always decides that the territory they have isn't enough. Often in multiplayer I find myself trying to hunt in unclaimed territory and having to deal with a large number of Junction butte wolves in a random meadow. It seems different packs are more of a bother depending on where you are and what you're doing.

For me, it's Wapiti on Amethyst Mountain, Crevice Lake in Slough Creek, and either Lucky or Lost River in Lost River. 🐺

Rip Bluebell. I had 3 pups and two of them died one to a wolf and then to an eagle the only one that survived nearly got killed by an eagle too

I do fear the eagles. On one of my first SC multiplayer games I lost a pup to one within 60 seconds of the litter being born.

lucky pack annoyed me so much that my wolf shepherd went and stole the lead man... that'll show 'em! my most frustrating death didn't even happen because of a predator! i got back to the den to see my beloved trying to guard the puppies from a herd of bison. the puppies wouldnt go back in the den because an eagle suddenly showed up. a bull went for stray and my mate, doran, tackled him and she got kicked to death. i was willign to accept that death even though it was absolute torture playing any other wolf because their mates are useless and about as sharp as a river pebble in comparison to doran but then the bison killed three of my puppies in under 10 seconds and i was so annoyed i spent the next fifteen minutes trying to save all my puppies and my mate... i broke my own rules out of sheer spite. never done it before and hopefully i won't have to do it ever again xD my oldest wolf maunderer (7 years old!!!), whose mate is doran, was very picky about marking territory. every single day he went out and marked - outside ring of hexes then inside ring the day thereafter. he never let the territory fall beneath 70% and he was almost obsessive about it. his oldest, first born daughter, wanderer, picked up on this habit and she is just as serious about it. i can bet my old man maunderer would be chewing his claws right down to his toes in anxiousness living in crow's territory just because of his territory marking compulsions 😆bout to give a young man a lecture about proper lawn maintenace and how to act like a grumpy old man he'll eventually become. chase away them nasty kids! no respect these days smh. back in MY day we RESPECTED territory boundaries. today's youth is disappointing!
