Started out with a plan to cut 13 walnut trees on a Sunday afternoon. After things goes wrong I end up making a chain sharpening video. This is the lead to that. #logger #logging #husqvarna #timber #tree
Only fools refuse to acknowledge their mistakes. Professionals point theirs out. Unfortunately we learn more from mistakes than our victories. A wise teacher benefits us all.
It's always nice to see a logger. Showing his good times and bad ones. People can learn from someone's mistakes. You can tell someone something. Or you can show them . The best teaching skills are seeing them. Thanks for a honest video.
Hey, don't be so hard on yourself - we're all just human, we all have our great days, our good and our bad days... The heat, humidity, the fatigue, dehydration-one bad thing leads to another-those days, the best thing to do (for me) is just to go home (before i make things worse). I respect your decision to share your bad days with the rest of us. Stay safe my friend !
I’m not hard on myself I just don’t make excuses for my mistakes. The heat takes a toll for sure. Yeah I figure it turned into a good opportunity to make some videos even if production was slipping.
@@Good.Fellers Yeah, but we make mistakes due to harsh working conditions sometimes, but it's all part of the job. I say it again - we're all just human and we do make mistakes and we learn from them...
I love this video. Sorry about your bad day though. You seemed to handle the frustration like a pro. You identified the problem and took responsibility. Can’t wait for part 2.
Man alive feller. I've had bad days myself. Bent the tip on my saw about a month ago. Broke the end of the bar so had to replace it all. Days like that we should just stop and take a big breath. Though most the time i dont. Thanks for sharing some of the crap we deal with. Sometimes i think people need to see this. Lets em know it isn't always big beautiful wins. There is sometimes crap in between. Keep it safe out there and have a great week man! Looking forward to your next video!
Man that looks like it was a rough day. I’m excited for the videos on filing though, there are a lot of weirdos on here that are confident about being wrong.
Many RU-vidrs never show their mistakes. I think dead, and dying ash trees are a worldwide thing. I only have two have two large Ash trees left on my property. On the flip side, Ash burns well.
My cousin in Indiana showed me his dead ash trees around the farm and showed me the same thing you just pointed out, the ash bores don’t actually go into the tree they just criss cross under the bark and prevent the photosynthesis process.
Hey Goodfeller , you think there's any saving the ash?, im in southwestern ohio about an hour from Cincinnati and they are all dying here also, i did a large dead ash removal for a customer , and it really had me nervous, when it hit the ground it exploded, all trees can be dangerous but i believe a dead ash beats them all lol
