The only Sawsbuck that can appear in the Friend Safari is Spring Form, which I incorrectly showed the wrong Sawsbuck. Pumpkaboo can also only appear in average size here. Ducklett is also capable of appearing outside of the Friend Safari in Route 7 in both versions, so Swanna should not have appeared on the list for flying safaris. I also seem to have misremembered Pinsir and Heracross' version exclusivity, the stone and Pokemon are both in the version that I stated the Pokemon is in, so Pinsir and Pinsirite in X, Heracross and Heracronite in Y. I think I misremembered this due to a weird event distribution in gen 6, but really should've double checked this, I'm sorry about this.
This is a great coverage video on the Friend Safari! It should be noted however that Ducklett can be obtained on Route 7, and the Pinsirite and Heracronite are available in the correct versions, so Pinsir and its mega stone are exclusive to X and Heracross and its mega stone are exclusive to Y. However, the Friend Safari notably still excludes Lairon and Houndour/Houndoom, meaning Y players have no choice but to trade for their opposite-version mega Pokémon. X players have nowhere as near as big of an issue, as the version-exclusives Manectric and Pupitar are available through the Friend Safari, so they have no need to trade.
I might've misremembered the purpose of a certain event Pinsir and Heracross and just made an assumption where I shouldn't have, sorry for that. The research was done months ago and I assumed it was fine when I picked the script back up. I have no idea how Swanna slipped through the cracks, I thought I checked all the preevolutions for sure though. Either way, thank you for the catches!

Hey, thank you for another great video! I'd like to point out just a few things. As soon as I've seen Sawsbuck's artwork I had to say that in Grass Friend Safari it is always Spring Form; this means that the other three seasonal forms can't be obtained in 3DS games at all and must be transferred from Unova (maybe with their hidden ability: an HA Deerling can be obtained once per save in B2W2 on Route 6 by a scientist, and in the gen V games the two Pokémon change form) It's important to note that only Normal Size Pumpkaboo is found in the Ghost Friend Safari, and while Super Size was distributed with its hidden ability as an event back in 2014 the other two sizes can't have the hidden ability at all in the 3DS games. As for Floette, ony Yellow Flower, Blue Flower & Red Flower are in Friend Safari as you correctly showed, I just want to make it clear that Orange Flower & White Flower can't have their hidden ability in gen VI (while in USUM the only colour that can't SOS call at all is Blue Flower Floette, so a Blue Flower with hidden ability is exclusive to XY on 3DS games) About Friend Safari pulls, Fletchinder is also in a slot of both its types, but even Illumise and Volbeat are actually just a repeated slot (in gen VI they can breed and let you hatch the opposite species, though in gen VI only Illumise can pass down its hidden ability). Moreover the slots are often repeated, like for many Dragon types and Ghost types that are more likely to be found (Bulbapedia is displaying them having 50% of chance) In conclusion, the Friend Safari is great in theory, but becomes a nightmare as time passes since registering friends is much more difficult. Moreover the pulls are often wasted with duplicated slots. Fun fact: even if horde battles and slot combos of Friend Safari would've been made optimized, due to abundance of Normal types other nine slots would be needed for their type to cover every hidden ability present in gen VI games.
Looks like I misremembered which Sawsbuck it was, swore I remembered that it was Summer. I think I realized for Pumpkaboo during editing that only one size was available but just decided to ignore it by having a brain fart until like right now that I could just notate it with text like I already did multiple times. I also knew Volbeat and Illumise could breed for each other, but they're still not really the same species. No idea how I missed Fletchinder though, I'll 100% give you that one lol.

@@croma3375 Its just unfortunate seeing as this whole video is niche as is seeing as this only affects gen 6 and mostly just a dex completion type challenge. The majority is at least still handled correctly, you're right.
The only requirement for getting a friend code on a 3DS console is opening the friends list. Even if it did need internet though, how many 3DS consoles are there in circulation that haven't been online a single time. Probably not that many.
As I told you when you asked the last time, I am continuing it, the video is still being researched, I'm juggling several projects right now, cause I don't want to leave another several month gap between uploads, and the first part of this took a long time to make, and this one would take significantly longer to make since the entries come from much more spread out locations. I already had most of this recorded months ago so getting it out took me a single day.
