@@concepcion2680 what you don't realize, is that if they truly care about what they are protesting for, they would be protesting in their own country and not protesting in a country that has nothing to do with it!!
@@concepcion2680you are ignoring the problem. If any of these protesters are cleaners it is their choice. Nobody has to come to this country, likewise nobody has to stay here. That’s what it means to live in a free country. Personally, I think you are deliberate trying to stir things up. Please go on some other site and make mischief there. Goodbye. P.s we have a number of airlines that offer cheap flights around the globe, perhaps you would like to take advantage of one them soon? Much appreciated.
Imagine not being able to fly your own country’s flag, but someone coming to the U.K. can parade their flag, outside an MOD building as a show of disrespect, and that’s fine. Disgusting, in front of serving soldiers.
They very purposely crossed the street to march right past Horse Guards AND crossed back after. NOT how to win friends! Kudos to the Guards in keeping the horses calm. Team effort.
So why aren't the Police keeping them on the other side of the street like they did before? They are just getting more daring and challenging authority. Send them back to their own country or which ever one they identify with. JUST KEEP THEM AWAY FROM THE HORSE GUARDS. THEY ARE ONLY DOING IT TO BE FILMED BY THE 'YT' FILMERS. DISGUSTING PROTESTERS!!!
That 100 million won't make it to the good ordinary folk, their corrupt government will take it.....share it out amongst themselves.... they're good at that...
Other countries have been giving aid to Africa for over 40 years! Enough is enough. Like I said to someone else, we've even gone and built infrastructure. And it keeps being destroyed. It's not the West's responsibility to fix their problems.
@@concepcion2680and where are you from that makes you such an expert on the history of the English speaking peoples? (Winston Churchill ‘s authoritative work?) do you even know what the word yokel means?
They purposely crossed the road to do that. Pity the horses didn't charge them. One group has managed to do it; it others will now follow. The police should have acted more quickly.
This is now the polices fault. There should be no protesting within sight of horses when they are out on duty! If I did care for their cause, I now no longer do so 😡😡
No sadiq Khan is to blame he is the one that gives the green light in London to all these protests and he is the one that gives the orders to what police can and cannot do. He single handed is to blame, he is not for this country.
@BetFarmer-te2lf Well, this is Etheopians crying for more aid. I know the world has been building up and giving aid to Africa for almost as long as I can remember. The world is tired of trying to fund and fix other nations. And they allow it to be destruction. And come back for more, every time.
You have freedom...that's why you're in this country.!! What's with this sudden craze of protesting right in front of the horses...they should have more respect!!
Why are they allowing to bring there flags to Horse Guards . My late husband was with the Life Guards in 1960 the served with the Newcastle and City Police Force tiklearly1990
Ethiopia is in dire straits, with civilians starving to death. No one cares because they can't blame Israel. The situation is far, far worse than in Gaza. They aren't even getting aid. Apparently people only care when they can blame Israel. Proud of the way the horses behaved!
People have been starving in Ethiopia since I was a child. The US has given so much in aid. We just gave $154 million more. We are sick and tired of funding other countries. Hell, we've gone there and built all kinds of infrastructure. It is your own responsibility to take care of the issues.
When the protest was on the other side of the road from the horse guards they were blocking the pavement, forcing passing😢 groups of children, who were probably on a school visit, to step into the road. Aren't protests meant to be pre-arranged with the police nowadays?
What the actual F!! Why were they allowed to have pictures with their flag? Usually, they are stopped from doing that. Then they were allowed to cross and pass in front of the horses! Again, why? Usually, the MOD Police are on the ball, but today they failed. Luckily the troopers kept the horses calm.
Have the courage to protest in your home country and accept the consequences. We are sick of disruption on the streets of British Cities for 3rd world countries.
They can stop a St. George's Day march, full of English people, coming down Whitehall, but random foreign demonstrations disturbing the Guardsmen's horses - they can do what they like.
I think they need to give permits to hold protests and if they are going pass horse guards they need to stay on the other side of the street away from the horses they should not be on the same side. Once on the side with horses is when the permit becomes void
My questions to those idiots would be. How is protesting the problems of Ethiopia, in the city of London going to help their cause and country? IF their intent was to simply make their plight known, then they need to find a way to do so that doesn't ENDANGER anyone, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN!!! and Animals!! Come on people. Be SMARTER and keep safety a priority!
You missed the few in the comments. They are saying ethiopia needs more aid. 🙄 The world has been giving them aid and building it up for decades. And they destroy it. People are fed up with funding other nations.
How dare these interlopers disrupt tourists and the guards and horses. Who the hell do they think they are. The police should have blocked them. Stand up to them for god’s sake this is Britain. Recover it or the tourists will stop coming.
Why on earth are our governing bodies allowing these people to match on our streets in the uk for something that's not even relevant to our country, it's utter madness.
Take this to your own country(?) and see what happens. Jerks. Is that LIncoln with the little star on his forehead? The 2 horses did awesome considering the nonsense. Including the stroller
@Lee-kg7ze they are people who profess to love their country but won’t fight for it or even go back and help administer humanitarian aid. Armchair soldiers and cowards who use other people to fight their war for them. Sorry for the rant but by doing what they do they are costing Londoners a fortune and tying up vital police resources. I am all for peaceful protest but not to the extent of what they are doing and achieving nothing. They don’t seem to realise that by protesting so much they are in danger of losing any sympathy they may have had. They lost mine months ago.
Exactly! How long has the world funded aid for Ethiopia? Decades! We've built all kinds of infrastructure. Only to see it destroyed. I know people will hate what I say. But, it's tiresome.
@@barbaravance6774 agree completely. Countries come to depend on aid. Rather than give them aid, teach them to put the right infrastructure in place then leave. What happens after that is up to them. We are still giving aid to India. Why does a nuclear power and plans to go to the moon need our financial help?
It is rare to see full size cavalry horses in excellent condition - well loved by riders & visitors to London - why any protester wants to upset them for any reason is beyond me
What is becoming of this country with every day a protest match through the capital disrupting everyday life, it’s about time the capital city was sorted out and these events should be held in some of the many open air places, like parks visitors that come want to see the sights not flag waving protesters.
No Wonder they shut Horse Guards on days of big marches. Shame for the tourists. But protesters don't care about that. Restful day for the horses, troopers can catch up on stable yard jobs, courses they are taking.
Get a grip POLICE and start POLICING! You look the part but looked clueless, so what if it hit world press that you stopped a march. Not a couple of metre in front of the horses. Get a grip.
Our own traditions like ' Horse Guards ' or Pomp and Ceremony, the Architecture, and the History yes ! But too many reasons why I despise that place !! 😮
That woman at 3:25 needs a wake up call! She is very unappreciative of the hospitality she has received in your country. Revoke their passports and expel them. Sorry if that offends, but we are having the same sorts of issues over here in America and it is time for the honest, good folks to stand-up and say "That's enough!" As for the protestors, if you feel so strongly about the problem, go there and help sort it out! Otherwise, stay home and shut up.
Oops the met police doing ANOTHER outstanding example of impartial single tear policing. For any met officers reading this just so you don't have to overtax the departmental brain cell, that was sarcasm.
Where was that massive police presence and keeping them restricted to someplace they can not cause harm like they did with people celebrating St George’s day. After what happened with the horses a few weeks ago they don’t need these lot coming along frightening the horses as well, they have enough to deal with when tourists are constantly pulling at the reins.
What a surprise, a protest in London. It’s really not a fantastic idea to walk up to a horse when it appears to be irritated about something. Horses are far better judges of character than people are. Trust me, my horses couldn’t stand my ex. Maybe the signs need to spell out every single thing that you shouldn’t do when you’re in close proximity to an animal that can squash them like a bug.
