Young Guards Handled a KAREN

For those not from the UK, we have an offence here called "Causing A Public Nuisance": Public nuisance is a criminal offence, defined as an unlawful act or omission which endangers or interferes with the lives, comfort, property or common rights of the general public. Though a criminal offence, a public nuisance can also give rise to a civil claim for damages. It's about time the police did their job and arrested her.

I know everyone loves the horses and want to be near them, but I think it’s about time the public were made to stand behind the bollards so that they don’t overcrowd the horses and the riders. This would also stop ‘Karen’ being so obsessed with the horses, it’s not ‘normal’ to stand and just stare at the horses.

This has been going on for over a month now with her, I’m surprised she’s not been arrested and a restraining order put on her. She definitely needs it

This is not a puppet show…these are highly trained soldiers and horses ON DUTY. It’s not a petting zoo. You wouldn’t constantly touch a check out person’s cash register, would you ? These guards and their horses deserve respect, and a ‘thank you’ after taking their photo, without their consent, would be in order. They can’t reply, but they can hear it. Get another sign up or a barrier. Take a photo, but stop people to get close and distract the horse from doing its duty. It’s hard enough to stand there for a prolonged time. If you see ‘this wench’, please speak up for the guards. No need to be rude. An “excuse me, please step away, others like to get their photo taken too”, or “please stop harassing the guards” will suffice. I don’t envy you, you wonderful guards. Thank you for your restraint and sense of duty. You are awesome 👍🙏❤️🫶🏻✋

The way she muscles in to people’s conversations and photos is so rude. What an absolute pariah this person is. Someone please carry her off to the asylum.

About time that awful woman was delt with either arrested for her continuing behaviour or seen with health professionals. Something not right here to continue this way you wouldn't Tolerate that kind of behaviour from a child Ridiculous carry on.

She should have been arrested days ago. She's making a complete mockery of the Guard, she's been told to stop and to go away. She's obviously not doing what she has been told to do. If she isn't a UK national, deport her.

If a white line was painted 3 metres in front of the horse, with a sign saying 'Do not enter beyond the white line' it may just work!

Cackling Karen recently sneezed on both hands and then 'high fived' children, one boy was eating and was reluctant to do it. The poor persecuted guards need to keep moving their horses towards her and the officers and police be very forceful and move her away. She's getting bolder and potentially very dangerous.

My goodness. She knows they don't want her to keep doing that stuff, yet she's bound she's gonna. wow. Something wrong with that lady.

When the horse looked at her then looked the other way, I can hear the horse thinking, “Not you again!”

People have to stop filming and posting this awful woman. She is a menace to the Guards, horses and the public. The way she is with children especially, is creepy.

What many don't know is that the King's Guards are regular serving soldiers from the Guards Regiments. They used to be called the Life Guards and originally were the monarchs bodyguard. That was taken over my the Police Royal Protection Unit. Getting posted to the King's Guard is one of the most difficult units to get into and the most prestigious.

It sickens me to think that she has become more of an attraction than the Guards. A restraining order or a ban of the area is needed for this idiot. She is a pain in the butt and spoiling it for the genuine people there to respect our Kings Guards.

Such disciplined young people. I would not last a day. They are amazing. And the horses so patient.

I am disgusted at how useless the police are. This woman repeatedly molests the horses and other people’s children, and the police stand by and do nothing.

This "woman" is beyond crazy and is agressive toward the guards and police. It is so sad to watch the mighty British Royal Guard and local cops made to look like week little fools who are afraid of her. She has beat them down without firing a shot. IF someone in authority really wanted to end this psycho drama, it could be done in less than one hour but apparently a psycho runs the show!

The guard does an excellent job of keeping her away without saying a word👍👍

Think they need to make more areas out of bounds from the public because of people like this woman.

The amount of times she’s been filmed being a pest I’m surprised she’s not been warned and had her back pack searched we shouldn’t get complacent I’m only saying.

In hope she doesn’t for the sake of the guards, guard duty is hard enough without a regular menace turning up. And if she does turn up never mind three strikes, the first thing she does that is an annoyance she should be given that dispersal order like everyone has been saying full stop and if she doesn’t leave or starts to give lip then the cuffs should be put straight on and taken away and let her sweat it out in a cell overnight and put escorted to the train or bus station and sent home.

That was beautiful to watch - that handling of the horse to stand facing the other way, step forwards at just the right moment to be off-putting, adjusting positions etc when that horrid person approached, skilled rider, perfectly timed. I hope all the other King's Guard learn from that one on how to handle that horrible person who harasses them all. Shift the horse away from her, into her, back up, move the other way...all done so it looks like the horse not the rider. It'd be PERFECT if they could train the horses to bite on command, or kick/stand on feet on command, because I've never seen anyone more deserving of a solid HARD bite. I hope she stays away, she's ruining it for everyone, and distracting the King's Guard from their job.

She can't help herself; she feels COMPELLED to touch those horses. And then acts as if she's an official part of the scene; like she's a tour guide or expert on the horses, telling people about them ("they're nice; they won't bite; see - you can come up and pet them, pushing and pulling

Karen's camera man is always right there.

The ceremony and tradition of the guards at the Palace is actually a privilege to watch, not a god-given right to interfere with. WHY can't they ban her with a restraining order?

if someone annoys the horse why cant the rider/guard tell them to leave the horse alone and to leave? The horse is technically the property of the army so why cant she be charged with interfering with government property.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the King's Guard's....this is the pomp and splendor I so admire in your Country and i love seeing how much each of you care for your special jobs...so sorry you have to deal with idiots...just like here in the USA, some people love and treasure watching our Guards at our Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the honor it is for these special men and women to do this for our fallen hero and then, we have the idiots who if they were in China, would be caned for their disrespect...bless ALL of you and how proud your families and friends must that you serve YOUR country with such grace.

This guard is very good with a soft nudge of her heel or light touch on the rein to keep her mount away from the obnoxious cackler.

One of the sweetest, quietest, friendliest, most intelligent girls I ever knew was named Karen. I hurt for her. Whoever started calling problem makers by that name might have used an adjective instead.

Do they not have restraining orders in the UK? There should have been one put on this woman after the 3rd warning. God knows there's more than enough Palace film not to mention RU-vid for them to present to get one against her. That would DEFINITELY give the horses, Guards and the tourists a much needed break from her and that hyena laugh.

Apparenbtly she has said previously on this site that her Husband is a Police Officer doesn't seem feasible to me that he would let his wife behave as she has been doing and still doing for a long period of time.

Here in the US grabbing the reins is assault and you can get arrested. No different from grabbing the police dog or patting a policeman on the face. The horses are doing a job.

Police should arrest her (causing a public nuisance) and then get a CPN (community psychiatric nurse) to assess her. Cause something is not quite right with her. That cackle !!!!

I think my favorite part is when she stares at the horse with a creepy smile like she’s telepathically communicating with it and then the horse rejects her creepy Karen advances. Even creepier is the way she interacts with the little children and like she’s a palace guide inviting and encouraging everyone to molest the horse like she does

Her mannerisms like the forced laugh and insane grin just creeps me out, and she is well aware she is testing the boundaries, I wouldn’t be surprised if she pulled the human rights card to say its her right to be there mauling and interfering whilst supervising unsuspecting tourists who may think she is part of the guards.

I just hope she doesn’t have something nefarious planned.

Shes still there? If she touches a horse, a guard or a cop, she should forceably be removed and tresspassed... She interferes in all other tourists experience, installs herself into others photos, touches peoples children and directs people toward the horses when she is in the way She is rude, obnoxious and a public nuisance

Why don't the police arrest her or give heran asbo(anti social behaviour order) so she has to keep away from horse guard parade and get her into court. Then they can tell the judge she been harassing the guards and horses whilst they are on duty. The horses should be allowed to kick her as they definitely don't like her. Not only that if she is from yorkshire she's given us a bad name as we don't behave like that around our brave soldiers.

She’s in the horses faces pretending she had a treat. Touching all the children in the way of everybody trying to get a photo, without her in it. She acts as if she can do anything. It’s if she commands them and then tells the crowds what to do. She hides when they come to tell her enough. Surely they can do something about her. I’d like to see the police remove her and arrest her.
