Everything We Know About the Gold Lantern 

I believe that due to the character’s optimism that this ring embodies some sort of Joy. With the sun in *alchemy* having the same symbol as gold as well as the sun being a symbol for hope.

Maybe future tech is capable of tapping into the emotional spectrum reservoirs and created their own corps based around optimism. The future in Legion is all about positivity and making things better, a lantern who can transmute could take something bad and turn it into something good.

So the Gold Lantern is an alchemist like Edward Elric, got it.

Well, since Life and Death seem to also be tied to Joy and Despair, I think Gold is Justice or Full Emotion Control.

I want to know more about the brand new lanterns corps called the GOLD-LANTERNS; From what is the spoken words oath, to who is responsible for its existence, to what planet does it thrive on, and more sets of information like that.

...oddly enough, I can see a story line when Jessica Cruz transforms the Yellow Lanterns into the Gold Lanterns as of Green Lantern Annual 2021. Jessica might well be the most emotionally intelligent person on the Sinestro Corps. Her understanding of how fear and willpower interact might foretell a transformation of the Sinestro Corps that, ultimately, moves it past Sinestro's motives to something greater.

Sodam Yat is one of my favorite Green Lanterns. I loved him in the Legion of 3 Worlds arc during Final Crisis.

Seems to just be future tech that mimics a Lantern Ring in design and outfit creation.

The ultimate teamup would be Bendis and Giffen. I'd love to see how these two would work together on the Legion. It was Giffen's run on Legion that made this group my most favorite team of all of DC.

I'd like to think the gold lantern is some future tech that allows people to use certain powers. Maybe they vary depending on who has the ring or only work with people who have some degree of powers or a super hero/villian in their family tree. Say sinestros great great great grandson gets powers with the ring but a descendant of joe bloggs wouldn't

The Light of Eternal Justice will now be bestowed”. So we can deduce that gold light is a purified version of green light. Not just any will, but a specific will purified from the others to be expressed to the fullest. The will of justice.

So if it’s an actual emotion he is powering through the ring what emotion is it exactly? Joy? Happiness?

Since there are now (GOLD LANTERNS) introduced into the brand new DC ComicBooks stories; I wonder if maybe someday (SILVER LANTERNS) might get made as well, and if so than I wonder if that group might be the successors of the fallen (WHITE LANTERNS CORPS)?

So if a golden lantern gets it power from happiness and joy. Then it means it can be welded by anyone who gets their happiness from what they enjoy doing. Whether it from doing good or doing evil as long as they get joy and happiness from it.
