Not saying they wouldn't lie (and by they I mean the Fire Dept/Local govmnt), but as the video clearly shows, the smoke is dense but lighter than the air around it, so it goes directly up (instead of keeping at street level like a fog), so, while being very bad for the environment in general, it doesn't look like the toxic fumes will remain in place, but rather go up and disperse in the sky until it's condensed and catches by water in clouds. Some of it will go back down as rain water, but that's already polluted, so no surprises there. Maybe you can get a 2nd opinion from a local meteorologist/envritomental engineer, see if they agree with the F.D. assessment.
Propane, butane, bupane, nitrogen where the only things I heard. Don't get me wrong there's probably a little bit of yeah don't breath that in but for the most part should be fine.

@@WookofWallstreet not much more to say - look at the political climate and other wars going on in the world. look at the fact the gov wants to take away gun rights, and when they can't do that they want you to "store them" so you can't get them in an emergency. look at the proximity of this location to the border even. don't think for a second armed color revolutions and other distablizing events can't happen here. sorry to say, "butane, and vape pens" don't pass the smell test. more like ammunition and mortar shells. watch your 6.

Fox 2 was live on the scene while 7 was showing a tired TV show like The Bachelor followed by some other reality show until 11 pm when their news slot started. They don't care about you.
Breaking News alert - Channel 7 and Channel 4 thought this was such a 'breaking news alert' they let the fire burn for 2 hours before giving it any serious coverage - meanwhile Fox 2 started live coverage at 10 and stayed commercial free for an hour. 7 & 4 gave us 'reality' TV shows while Clinton Twp looked like they were filming Mission Impossible. So much for 'your source for news'.
