Starr really does make Homelander his own. The uncontrollable microexpressions that he acts out are insane and show a high level of understanding of homelanders psychplogy

Starr is just next-level, every time I see him on screen, I just want more. The 2 sides battling each other is portrayed so well; sometimes you really do wanna root for the guy. That speaks volumes.

Really want jensen ackles back in season 4. He did a good job with that character.

My wild prediction is Black Noir didn't die, and will somehow factor into season 4. Keep in mind the man literally had his brain blown out of his skull, and recovered from that more or less. I think he's going to put his innards back in his torso, slink off and recover with his cartoon pals. My other prediction is that Butcher is going to find the blue Compound V, and become a supe himself. This will make the rest of the boys take the V just out of self-defense, or to save their lives when Butcher tried to kill them.

Oh my word - I've watched so many review videos and you're the only one (so far) that has said Ryan was scared that Homelander was angry for what he did to Stormfront. Bravo.

If they go deeper into the racial angle with A-Train and other black supes, I hope to see Nubian Prince & Nubia. Also I think Homelander openly killing will have all countries racing to create their on supes to go against him.

"How could you kill your own kind" works in that A-Train killed a SUPE. - but it also works against HL as he killed one of his own kind *black and also (A Supe, and a black supe) - so A-Train sees the folly of getting too loyal to Homelander.

Vicky becomes president by killing dakota bob and homelander becomes her VP (thats how hes gonna get into the white house) then Butcher kills Vicky creating the domino effect of Homie becoming president and Homie passing leadership of the 7 to Ryan, who takes on Soldier Boy's superhero name. (This will be how some of the supes from the comics come into the kripke-verse) Butcher has to take out Ryan and Homelander and afterwards, he goes on his rampage to kill all supes and ridding the world of compound V. Sounds nutty, but thats my prediction

I think there should be 2 more seasons. In season four Homelander slowly and quietly accrues power behind the scenes while the boys try to do things quietly, then in the finale perhaps ryan is killed or the flight 37 video leaks and the final season is Homelander v Butcher: Scorched earth. Cities destroyed, thousands murdered by both Homie and Butcher and Homelander is finally taken out at the end with the epilogue being the boys have to put down Butcher.

The video starts at 13:30. Before the dude was retelling the entire season finale, that everybody watched already. What is the point of retelling the whole episode, man?

My predictions: * Ryan will go full "Brightburn". * Black-Noir will be resurrected by Stan Edgar & Mallory with Soldier-Boy's V-nullifier ability to kill all supes (notice that Black-Noir got hit on the same spot Soldier-Boy shoots his V-nullifier ray). * Black-Noir will kill Stan Edgar and Mallory and will go rogue to kill Homelander, though he will lose and die by Homelander & Butcher. * Homelander and Butcher will team-up to stop Ryan (Homelander final redemption). * Butcher will die from temp-V rapid consumption. * Homelander will lose his powers, living the rest of his life powerless in a cell or living in isolation, embracing his loneliness. * The rest of the boys will probably get a happy ending. * A-train will betray Homelander and will die for it. * Victoria will die. * Vaught dismantled, compoud-V and supes are outlawed.

This is such a great show with so much depth and fascinating characters they could keep this going for more seasons. Marvel and DC can't come close to what this show offers. 👍

Dark? Season 4 will start same as season 3 did, with the boys going after homelander and Victoria Newman. Butcher screwed everything up, had homelander dead to rights with soldier boy , mave and V-ed up butcher but instead decided to fight soldier boy when soldier boy was ready to still take out homelander even knowing he was his off spring. And mave took soldier boy out the window and exploded halfway down and lost her powers, so a powerless mace survived that fall yet a more powerful bullet proof soldier boy was knocked out long enough for CIA to capture him. So soldier boy is so bad CIA wants to lock him up but homelander can kill anyone at will? Soldier boy wanted to take out the ones who sold him out for 40 years of torture, testing and imprisonment, not unreasonable well homelander wants to kill anyone who doesn't want to worship him. And black noir can survive literally having his brains beat in or out, an explosion but a gut punch kills him, granted from homelander but wouldn't he heal like every other time? And mave can fight off the nerve gas but soldier boy can't? Just feel like the show could of let noir live, and had soldier boy and butcher kill homelander and then nest season Ryan and noir would be coming after the boys for killing homelander. This was the first episode I was disappointed in the series. Even if soldier boy did his explosion, homelander, Ryan, mave and butcher would most likely survive and just be powerless like kimiko was. Seems like the show is stuck on repeat. Butcher pushed Ryan away and literally blamed him for Becca's death and homelander accepted and forgave him, of course a child will go with the one who forgives him.

I believe noir will recover because in the past, Soldier Boy smashed his brain with his shield and lived, plus homelander did not extract his heart or decapitate him

Karl Urban said in an interview about stunts, that he likely has to do more in the two coming seasons, so there will be a season 5, or at least it's planned

Kripke has a LOT of experience with the "older brother only has a year to live spent taking care of loose ends because he protected his little brother" trope, this was the entire plot of I believe a full season, if not 2, of Supernatural, but then he resurrected Dean for the following season of course. I think later something similar happened with Sam, but I stopped watching Supernatural after about Season 6 or 7, the one where they got all self referential and had an episode where they literally came to a version of our universe where it's a show and they're the actors who play themselves. I heard it got good again though.

i don't think they're going to make black noir a homelander clone i know you've seen that he is in the comics, but if you read the comics its make absolutely no sense to add a homelander clone in the tv show with anthony stars homelander. I think the mirror version of homelander in the show is his clone counterpart and that black noir will just become a mantle like when a robin dies in DC

I think we’ll get at least 2-3 more seasons, because Kripke said Soldier Boy will definitely be back before they end the show. He’s just on the sidelines for the time being and I doubt they’d just turn around and release him in season 4. Season 4 could be about more superheroes coming from all corners of the globe, seeing that Homelander just got away with killing someone. Escalation and ruthless displays of power invites conflict. He needs to rebuild the 7, also. So perhaps he will be trying to find 4 more supes that will go along with his twisted agenda or he’ll be trying to make Ryan his sidekick, and push him too hard, and then Ryan will want to run away. They could get 2 more seasons at least, if they play their cards right.

I was hoping they'd wrap it up in season 3. I'm a little pissed that Hughie didn't get permanent powers. I would have liked to see them all get powers because Maeve proved that Homelander can be hurt by just one strong Supe. I really wanted to see Hughie whoop A-Trains ass too. That whole character development arc of A-Trains was a cop out. I think that the Boys will end up getting permanent powers somehow and Butcher will have to kill not just Homelander but his kid too. I bet we also see the Boys figure out how Soldier boy was taking away supes powers and turning that into a weapon. I bet Homelander will end up becoming human before he dies by super powered Butcher and the Boys. Maybe thats how they save Ryan or whatever the kids name is as well. Idk because theirs so much that could possibly happen.

The only you didn't address that would impact the story in a major way is whether or not Stormfront is actually Homelander's mother or not, as Soldier Boy hinted at.

I really wish Soldier Boy grabbed Homelander and threw him into a nearby wall just after saying “…step into my office…”. That would have been a great callback 😂

Season 3 was lit. The ending was perfect I think. I’m sure everyone predicted certain characters dying and that didn’t happen so season 4 is gonna be tits 👊❤️

I just can’t see black noir being dead. The he existed in the show almost to be a backstory for other characters and be mysterious. I see him coming back to get more character and helps the boys potentially now that he has been betrayed by the 2 strongest supes back to back.

i guess its got to be Ryan who finally kills homelander. it'll end up been a will he won't moment . i have no doubt. and before you go forgiving A-train all the evil crap he's done . dont forget he caused the death of super sonic this season , just because he feels guilty about his brother doesnt mean he's changed and deserves forgiveness

The only way I see Butcher living beyond his 1 year sentence is through taking compound-V while he's on temp to make sure it sticks. It's possible that the writers can do that because it's their show, and they never introduced Temp-V in the comics. In the comics, everyone apart of The Boys' team had powers (mainly super strength but powers nonetheless).

I would love to see A Train and maybe even Deep become more and more good, DEEP AND A TRAIN REDEMPTION ARC!!

Varsity coming out between seasons likely allows for the story to jump ahead a bit. I would guess that Varsity might cover the election period, with season 4 starting with Victoria as VP. Similarly, escalating tensions with Russia would be ongoing, so by season 4 it’s at the boiling point. Russia may be part of Dakota Bob’s victory, and could be part of ‘selling’ him on Temp V, especially if the Russians end up with their own supes. Varsity acting as a season 3.5 of sorts would allow for season 4 to have the room to hit all the beats of a finale season without overcrowding it. If we start with Victoria as VP and the Russian conflict coming to a head, we can hit the ground running with the Boys going after Little Nina and the Russian supes while Victoria starts the production of temp V for military use. Homelander perhaps steals that temp V to create his army of supes with which to stage his coup. So episode 6 or so, we get everything coming to a head, and then a couple episodes dealing with stopping Butcher. Vaught stock free fall could also be addressed. It will probably have to restructure, perhaps Stan Edgar being brought back in. Or perhaps they are bailed out and/or taken over by the government. Homelander might be on the outside looking in, sort of in his Mar-a-lago phase. I think we’ll see the return of Noir using the method from the comic used to bring back Lamplighter and Blarney Cock, the latter of which was disemboweled similar to Noir. The zombification that resulted for them already kind of mirrors Black Noir’s limited capacity.

I think they’ll be two more seasons, 1 with homelander going completely off the rails and 1 with butcher as the antagonist

I think season 4 will be the end of the homelander part and will end with the White House scene and maybe a teaser about butcher for season 5 and then season 5 is his downfall with him going around trying to eliminate all the supes

What if you take compound V while being on V-24 , ur body could probably handle it since it’s a supe’s body for 24 hours and then it just stays permanent maybe that’s how they get to keep their powers in season 4 and heal all the previous damage done

My call: since Noir died in S3, we can all agree that his role has absolutely changed compared to his comic version. But that doesn't mean, that we won't get the spiritual successor of the comics Noir. I beg to differ. I will go even further and say that Stan Edgar is still in control of everything and has many bombshell trumpcards, like James Stillwell in the comics. One of his trumpcards is Homelanders Evil Twin, which was only born and raised as a weapon to destroy Homelander mentally and physically. His very existence finds its purpose in sadistically torturing Homelander into madness. And i think we already saw him in S3. Where? In the "mirror" during his monologue with "his" mirror reflection in "Herogasm". What you see isn't Homelanders mirror reflection, but a psychopath, that plays mindgames with his prey before massacring it.

A man with a death sentence hanging over his head has nothing left to loose. So that makes an already dangerous man like Butcher, who is bad enough with all that temp V running through him, and you have the perfect recipe for a living nightmare. So yeah... It should get pretty interesting here now that we are closing in on the finale.

Great video but I disagree in the statements that soldier boy gave homelander his attachment for drinking milk (that is probably a result of his mommy issues) and that homie just has connections to Ryan and Soldier boy. I think he has a bond with Butcher as well, even though it's obviously complicated. He clearly respects him as a villain like figure and he likes that Butcher is so focused on him because that gives him purpose and someone to fight with

I do hope the next season is the last. Everything has built up to the point where I'd be worried they'd burn out all the amazing storytelling they've told up to this point if they went any further. A fourth season is all this show needs to wrap its narrative up cleanly in a nice blanket, imo.

I think Kripke learned from what happened with Supernatural, in that they had a nice, tight perfect ending to the show (well at several different points during the entire run, if you think about it. Though I believe he had long since parted ways from it for most of the latter points) and the network just kept pushing to keep the show running due to its massive success. And I say that as a huge fan of the series, but it definitely ignored several possible great ending points in favor of the cash grab .. causing the actual ending to really miss the mark and wind up being fairly contrived and anticlimactic. So I feel like Kripke is not going to let that happen with The Boys. And it is the right decision too. What differentiates a good artist from a great one is being able to recognize the completion of what they are working on and having the fortitude to walk away from it. As it is an easy trap to fall into where artists (I mean that term broadly as to mean any creative types) just keep finding things to fix or add to till it almost becomes an obsession. And anyone who has ever worked on something of an artistic nature can confirm that knowing where or how to end something is usually the hardest part.

I honestly think if they completely kill off this character of Black Noir then he is being incredibly misused. He was given a backstory and was immediately killed off by someone not even related to his backstory, it’d be a waste of a character. If he isn’t dead he now has a reason to go against Homelander, being somewhat like the comics but not to the point of him being a Homelander clone. I mean, he did survive his head being almost obliterated as well as severe brain damage, I reckon he could survive a hole through his stomach.

I think we're all very fortunate that the producers could find an actor like Jonathan Starr to play the part of HighLander! What are the odds of finding an actor of that quality who can also shoot lasers from his eyes while flying? Sweet serendipity!

If butcher becomes the main antagonist similar to his comic's counterpart i would be very disappointed because frankly if there's one plot point i don't like from that series is that main anti-hero goes full villian because that's cilice we seen so many times in media that ain't even funny however given the series changed a lot of stuff from the source material maybe they can make butcher a lot more better on the show way more then the comics version but that's just my opinion. Now as for ryan i can see him go through two options one butcher and huey and rest of the boys try to save him or two ryan is so far gone to the point maybe i can see him get killed off similar to his dad but we shall see.

My predictions for Season 4 are as follows: • Homelander finally gets depowered after Soldier Boy is resurrected in a last ditch attempt by The Boys. • Ryan becomes Homelander 2.0. • Butcher takes permanent Compound V only to end up dying in the Season 4 finale. • A-Train actually redeems himself by helping the Boys take down Homelander once and for all. • Homelander takes out Victoria Neuman despite her helping him find Ryan. • Maeve ends up taking Temp V to help The Boys take down Homelander, sacrificing herself for real this time. • Homelander wreaks complete and utter havoc on the world, operating in a Hitler-like manner.

I think it's kind of weird that none of the characters have said what they plan to do with Vought and the existing supply of compound v and temp v after they kill Homelander. I know how the comic ends and I really don't want them to do that
