I rarely watch long videos about games but I watched this from start to finish. Great job editing and working on it! The funniest parts were at 8:56, 27:40, 30:35, 37:42, 38:38 and 47:10. Overall, the jokes about Galsia hardly get old but especially Donny. It's no coincidence he has pipes whenever he needs them because after all, he's a part-time plumber aside from being a thug. That part about him beating up Super Mario in the sewers is true as well. Also, you forgot to ask why can't that umbrella at 18:26 cause that barrel to explode even though you're actively damaging enemies against it? Every other "weapon" can do that except the umbrella? Hmmm....
The reason games like this is sssooo good is because it focused more on fun and and gameplay than a damn bedtime story for you children. They should start back doing that on the newer game. Fuck a story if I want story that's what books and movies for
It depends on the game. A game like this doesn't need anything deep. Give me a simple reason to body slam a thug. A game like Metal Gear Solid needs a great story to give it purpose due to its sensitive topics and intricacies.

His anti air is way more annoying than donovans because not only does it have more range than donovans uppercut but it lingers for longer since it's a 2 hit attack meaning if you try to hit him with an attack that puts you in the air but doesn't give I-frames through the whole thing(like cherry's charged attack or sor4 Max's power slide) you WILL get hit. Oh yeah... I forgot to mention how Dylan is every cherry mains arch nemesis as well. Whoops.

according to the wiki, after Mr.X's death at the end of SOR3, Shiva did in fact become enlightened and has since parted ways with the syndicate and left to run his own dojo, like Axel did in SOR2. after you defeated him in stage 6 of SOR4, he betrays the syndicate to side with Axel's crew. apparently, he did not approve of the Y's methods and became further enraged after hearing reports of animal abuse taking place in their headquarters and decided to bide his time until it was right to strike against them and strike hard. but after stage 6, he decided not to attack them himself, and instead he sent Axel and crew after them by revealing the location of one of their bases to them
apparently Zan was actually going to join Axels crew again in SOR4 but then Floyd decided he would go in Zan's place and Zan stepped aside and, like Adam, Zan went off on his own mission
SoR 4 was good but it had way too many issues with the story. at least the older games did a better job of sticking to the story they presented without throwing random BS into it
To be fair, it was never meant to have a story other than "mean people take over city". But yeah, the story of this game is simple and quite...silly. I've seen worse. I think if it were more grounded like "Y Twins take over city for political power, or turning it into a organized crime central like a mob " then yeah. But the mind control stuff. Eh...not sure what the end game would be. Still funny though!

Diva left her newborn baby behind to live a life of wealth and power by joining the syndicate. A month later, Diva was sentenced to 20 years in prison for being involved in multiple burglaries. Once the Y twins took over the government, Diva got released and changed her government name to Diva in order to hide her identity. The only name Adam knows her by is Evelyn. Once Adam found out that Diva left their newborn Cherry behind and moved out of the house to live a new life with the syndicate, he wanted nothing to do with Diva ever again. So Cherry had no idea that they beat up her own mother and Adam will never know about that.
Estel is a special forces officer yet she calls for regular policemen instead of the S.W.A.T. team members during the fight. Speaking of S.W.A.T. team, doesn't Murphy know the heroes as his allies from the first game and their righteous sense of justice? That helmet must REALLY interfere with his vison.
The Murphy in the cars will take Estel's side over yours for sure by "following" orders. Why she calls regular cops to gut punch you? We will never know!
tbh, Zamza has the worst eye frames of all the enemies in the series. like, if he is slightly off target, he can still hit you but if we are not dead centre on target, we cant do shit? the fuck?

the main thing wrong with Streets of Rage 4 is the odd differences in the PC build for Windows Store\XboxAPP, Steam and GOG versions non of which can play online with each other, AND no cross platform multiplayer. Streets of Rage was always great mainly because of multiplayer. This game should've had crossplatform multiplayer and because it doesn't it's probably gonna kill the IP again, especially because the pc versions can't even play with each other is another nail in the coffin.
Man I love your channel ♥️♥️ I love this game close to 500 hours. Now I'm taking it seriously and training for the world title. Man that survival mode is crazy hard.but I'm getting much better. I wish they done Dr Zan,and roo where done in the updated style. That would make it a perfect game.
Ok, love the video, but the static blasts are TOO LOUD. Also, the drifting in the plane stage is bc when a plane dives at a 45 (?) degree angle you get weightlessness. Thats what they’re getting at. The plane is going down.
Thanks for the input. I'll turn them down more next time if I use them. And I guess about the plane going down but it happens like they are in outer space. The gravity should still screw them up. And the plane wasn't going down until AFTER Mr. Y shot the controls.
I've had a handful of times playing sor4 as the current axel where I tried to grand upper a group of enemies only to get jabbed because the grand upper has a very short hitbox.
Good video, there's also something that made these perks In Survival mode useless Don't get me wrong, they're really good and you can't finish level 13 without them but here's a thing,the goal of this simulation is to prepare our heroes for the future threats, I just really wanna know, how on earth can our heroes use them in real life? Those icons can't just appear in real life
3:36 there might be a theory that the syndicate members might be scanned of the body type so they probably made them as robots than human when you toss a knife at the no blood spill’s out of they’re body like tmnt foot soldiers they all look the same but they’re disguised as humans but they’re robots that could be a theory.

For the Beyo and Riha fight at the end of the art gallery, as I understand that was meant to be a fight against the Syndicate twins Mona and Lisa (get it, Monalisa in an art gallery?) But they got cut for whatever reason and replaced with Diva pallet swaps instead. Super disapointing really, Mona Lisa would have been awesome.
ngl, Max's boss theme was honestly one of the coolest tracks in the game. i mean, the whole series had some of the best video game music of all time, but Max's theme in SOR4 was one of my personal faves
@@NostradanteGamingSOR4 skate dr Zan and Roo not being DLC and skate not being important enough to be mentioned or a cameo explain why he won't be joining the team on their Adventure the Retro character can't color swipe like the updated characters which is really weird because they have new moveset and the bosses being too easy the Developers just wanted to make the game how they wanted to make it it really wasn't about our opinion or what we really want but the skate thing was a real slap in the face you would think he would be important enough since he was in SOR2&3 and even if they didn't have any ideas for him because of his new movesets they could have still put him in the game or mention him I just felt like the developers just didn't care for him and that's it retro skate was good enough for them it's a little too late because the game came out in 2020 it's a little bit late for that the game successful and they made their money it's over until SOR5 comes out God knows how long that's going to take

@@NostradanteGaming yes they could have but they just didn't want to and one of them when they were getting interviewed he said a grown man wearing rollerblades won't look right which is a lie there's a lot of grown man that roller skate but at least some part of him is in the game like there's two versions of him in the game SOR2&3 for me that's better than no skate at all at least he's playable because I thought he was not going to be in the game at all but I just wanted to see him or play as him as a grown man that's all because he's been my favorite since I was a kid which is why I can't give it a higher score 7.5/10 is where I stand
