Honestly, Cinemasin hated Megamind, so it wouldn't surprise me they hate Emperor's new groove. Their taste aren't that great.

I'm just glad Th3Birdman is balanced enough to recognize that Jeremy's cringe sexual jokes are terrible and out of place, yet also recognize that Mrs. Incredible got that mf ass.

He literally sins things for no reason. "Blank is what blank said at blank", "my ex girlfriend" "this is a cliche" how are those sin worthy? They just remind you of something, how is that a sin?

Even though we never got Kingdom of the Sun, you can tell that Eartha Kitt was having a blast as Yzma regardless of the change of direction for the character. Even going to voice the role in the direct to dvd sequel and the TV series.

So Jeremy bashes this movie not making sense when its entire brand of comedy is based around *_nonsense_* humour-- not Minions nonsense meant to pander to 2-year-olds, but smart, well-timed and structured nonsense... Wow. Just wow.

Here’s an issue I’ve noticed about Cinemasins. They’ll say: “(Insert cliche here) Cliche. Sure it’s a proper use of the cliche, but it’s still a cliche” A cliche is a storytelling technique that’s been overused to the point where it lost its original meaning. If a cliche is being used properly, then it’s no longer a cliche because it understands the original meaning behind the technique

You literally could have just said "everything" and peaced out after 4 seconds and this video would still be spot on. Emperor's New Groove is perfection.

Jeremy sins the Iconic "why do we even have that lever?" scene, yet wont take a sin off for continuity that the cactus Yzma threw her "poisoned" drink into turns into a llama shaped cactus in between scenes of Kuzco transforming into a llama. I know its a gag people might not notice, but come on! the devil is in the details!

Child: Why did the chicken cross the road? CinemaSins: Chickens don't cross roads! They live in chicken coups, at best, when they're not caged and in unsanitary conditions, but there's no roads anywhere around them. I get that sometimes they could possibly wander up to one, but does it really happen that often? Also, how could chickens recognize a road as a piece of land with particular functions and meaning? They would just see cars and decide not to go near them, because cars are big, loud, and scary. There is neither an evolutionary, nor a behavioral sense to f***ing road crossing for chickens! Wow, this was exactly the kind of argument I'd have with my ex-girlfriend in college when we'd make a futile attempt at conversation after disappointing her in the bedroom. Overexplaining jokes can be fun if done properly. But CS's style of doing it is the reason I personally was turned off by the channel. And it's even worse if the movie is animated. They'd be the type of people who'd question why a blast from Elmer Fudd's shotgun would only rotate Daffy Duck's beak around his head instead of tearing apart the skull and spilling blood and brain matter everywhere. FFS, cartoon comedy, and pretty much all comedy, works by overexaggeration, but there is a limit to it. "I get that no one would want to show a realistic gunshot wound to a child, but the partial detachment of what's essentially Daffy's mouth, which also shouldn't be able to tell Bugs that he's dethpicable, is just silly." You know, because silliness has no place in a children's cartoon. I'm sorry for the rant, I've just really come to hate CS's "I get that X, but Y" sins.

The fact that CinemaSins even feels the need to sin such a hilarious and heartfelt classic like the Emperor’s New Groove and preceding to call it unfunny and bad just honestly makes my blood boil. I’m so glad you exist to counter all of the lazy, pandering bullshit Jeremy says that hasn’t been funny in over 7 years. Keep up the great work man.

Man, I don't know which the best animated movie is. But *THIS* is handsdown the best Birdman video yet. And pretty sure the most heinous crime by Jeremy so far. I haven't watched the movie yet, but even then I could tell his video was a 100% bullshit.

Also about the lever scene...Yyzma literally walks back in saying “WHY DO WE EVEN HAVE THAT LEVER?” Meaning the movie is acknowledging that the lever design was bad!

Jeez, Cinimasins has ZERO tolerance for animated movies. Always super hateful.

Jeremy: Narration in every movie is a sin. Big Fish: uses narration as a cohesive element that develops and unifies the story and themes and even pays off at the end. Is just the example that comes to my mind, surely there's a lot more. CS really goes deep in not knowing crap about cinema and profiting from it.

"Why oh why do you compare every fourth wall break with Deadpool" SImple, he's an overrated character that morons, including Jeremy, think invented fourth wall breaks.

I remember David Spade saying that they wrote the part for him. He said it took him a while to decide if he was flattered or offended! This movie and LILO and Stitch are two of my all time favorites. I saw them in the theater after being married and before having kids. I have a couple of less popular movies that I need to watch on Disney +. I hope you are doing well 💜🍹🔥

A couple things to you, Birdman. One: thank you. Thank you for sinning CS’s video. This is probably one of the greatest Disney movies ever made, and the simple fact that they TRIED to sin it shows just how utterly disgraceful the channel truly is. We needed you as our champion, our “white” knight, to bring this naysayer to justice. (I’m exaggerating a bit, but my point still stands.) Two: mostly every Pixar movie has been a masterpiece (sometimes of its time, sometimes just in general), so this “argument” of each movie’s worth is a fool’s errand. But if I had to pick I’d go with Solid Bird because Wall-E is amazing and well-animated and just incredible-

Jeremy sinned the "Pull the lever" scene? Skipping over how nearly everyone loves that scene, there was nothing about that scene that was sin-worthy. He just sinned it for the sake of showing the scene in his video.

Not to mention that Jeremy comparing himself to Kronk is a low blow. Kronk's way smarter. And lovable.

I am pretty sure that the "shoulder morality cliche" that The Emperor's New Groove was using was making fun of it, as it shows both the "good" and "bad" figures doing the exact opposite or wavering of their intended role, emphasizing that morality just isn't as simple as "good" and "bad".

10:54 Also, did Jeremy forget that "no pets" signs don't use all pets, and usually just use a dog, maybe paired with a cat? The sign isn't saying "any pets BUT dogs," it's saying "NO PETS". The llama sign could just as easily mean the same thing, but is instead using a llama because that is the most common animal in their culture, much like dogs are in American culture.

I actually used to watch CinemaSins, and I couldn't remember why I stopped watching him. Maybe it was the bad jokes or werid movie references that spured on for like 20% of the video. But at 9:05 of the video, I realized why. That f-cking laugh scars me. A literally f-cking jumpscare.

Maybe it's cuz it's hard for me to understand, but Jeremy doesn't even sound like he's joking in his narriation. It just sounds he's whining and bitching or just throwing a tantrum for having to review a movie he obviously doesn't like. This makes it harder for me to watch his videos, and harder for me to believe that Cinemasins is "satire" or "parody"

The "no llamas" sign is clearly a parody of modern "no dogs" signs. And I'm pretty sure, just like in modern restaraunts, you aren't allowed to bring any animals with you, a llama/dog is just used as the most typical example. I had no problem understanding that as a 10-year-old, goddammit.
