The writers did such amazing with Dubois. She's a villain with no tragic backstory, she just wants a lion. That's pretty much it and the writers went out with their way to make her a Terminator killing machine and it's absolutely amazing 😂
No, they're being painfully plucked. It's pretty cruel, yo. That's why you shouldn't buy pillows/blankets with downs. Dunno where you got that idea from that they just collect downs that fell off. If only... :-o
@@kammbamm13It doesn't mean that at all. All it means is they're finding every way possible to pad the runtime of their videos in the most pointless ways possible
Fun Fact : Noah Baumbach (writer and director of Marriage Story, Frances Ha, Mistress America and recently Barbie as a co-writer) did a 60 page script rewrite of Madagascar 3 and he did it mostly for his paycheck to pay his divorce lawyers. I don't know if that should be a sin for him or not 😂😂😂
Just here to say that the firework scene is actually SO cool and if it was remembered more I think it would be one of the most iconic scenes in an animated movie
Between Donkey & Dragon, Julien & Sonja, & Bruce & Brandy, I think we have enough for the "Guy is shipped with girl 15 times his size in a Dreamworks movie" cliché to be a thing
There was a time shortly after my dad lost his job (I was probably 12ish?) where we couldn’t afford cable anymore. But we’d had DVR so we had movies/tv shows recorded on there we could watch instead. I watched this movie EVERY DAY for FIVE MONTHS. 💀
Me too! But it was How To Train Your Dragon 2 for me. Used to watch it everyday after coming home from school as we could no longer afford an internet connection and my dad sold the computer I had. Thankfully doing much much better now.
We had a tv in the car before There was one CD in it It was Frozen Unfortunately, we couldn't get it out So for an entire school year, I watched Frozen on loop It got to the point that I can lipsync the entire movie perfectly Can't do it anymore, but that was the point where my brother thought it was a problem
I looked into it and I think the only thing that saves it is that male lions in the wild live up to 8-10 years meanwhile female jaguar live up to 12-15 years in the wild. So they are close age wise in their species.
You forgot the worst sin of all. Alex says that leaving the zoo was the best thing that happened to them, but Alex got: - Kicked, punched and nutshotted by the old lady - Shot with a dart - Swallowed sand - Had no hope of returning - Became feral - Got beat up by Titsi - Got banned - Had trauma (maybe) - Was hunted - Kicked out of the place he actually likef
As a long-time Monty Python fan, I appreciate them being referenced more than once in this video. (the flying circus quip in the main body and in the outtakes about the dead parrot)
Alex in the first movie: We have to stop him from making the worst mistake of his life! Alex in the third movie: You running away was the best thing that could’ve ever happened to us! I love this change of heart!❤️
Dreamworks is really good at making trilogies where the 3rd entry doesn't suck. How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda(4th does not exist to me), and now Madagascar.
Me and my grandmother saw this in cinema, Neither of us ever watched it a second time and we still get that polka dot Afro song randomly pop into our heads and get stuck to this day.
9:50 The fact that this advertised scene, and the freaky rainbow wig that came with the special additions of the DVD, turned me off to it means this entire concept can never have enough sins!
I guess the Tally Board should just be a fun joke about how they're animals and therefore cannot count. I mean in 1:49 you can see that the second left group first row lower box of tallys is 6, while the others are 5
biggest sin is how Alex found his family and the gang supposedly found a better suiting home then the zoo ever was, just for them to leave in the next movie.
6:07 As a nuclear engineering student who has not watched this movie in a long time, the fact that there is a uranium-238 blanket implies that this is either a breeder reactor or a nuclear bomb.
Thank you. I really enjoy your videos and I caught the "Gleaming The Cube" reference. That's a cool/great movie you should sin. This video is funny. Thank you 💙
I literally finished my first playthrough of Disco Elysium the other day and have been obsessed with it since. The jumpscare at 17:57 really got me I usually tune out after the Sin Total because I almost never get the jokes that come after and then I heard the DE Intellect ping
I like the Dream Works logo in the PS1 Jurrasic Park game where the boy is fishing in the clouds and then he says, "Hey! I got something!" And then he gets pulled from the moon and you hear a Velociraptor screaching. Ah, childhood nastolgia lol. 😂
Huge reason for Sin 4 RIGHT AT THE START.. shoulda been for Paramount not chiming in for the Penguins engaging Warp an neither doing it under Picard's Command, Kirk's Order or having even attended Starfleet at all... An at 17:55... That "buried alive" crack feels like was taken strait outta a "Saw" Franchise movie ..
You missed a sin, at 6:07 the penguins say they are using u-238. U-238 isn’t the right isotope for nuclear energy, you need u-235 to have a sustainable fission reaction.
The indicator shows the vehicle's deviation from level flight, not its distance above the ground, making it an attitude indicator and not an altitude indicator. Ding.
@@atlashugged2591 unless it shows the rolling and pitching motion, it’s not an attitude indicator. What you described either would’ve been a heading indicator or a vertical speed indicator.
@@N617A The scene in the movie does show both roll and pitch, and those are both "deviations from level flight." You can literally look up attitude indicator and see images that look exactly like the indicator in the movie.
You know, if you think about it, king julien effectively screwed over his nation by allowing his friends to send an almost unstoppable hunter to its island. If they haven’t all died under stevie’s leadership already, that is
This was the movie that made me do a 180 on this franchise, goddam I was angry coming out of this one. After the second one taking steps into decency by having themes and a coherent plot, we are right back into the random bs from the first one filled with pop cultural references and licensed music. Alex's heartwarming story with his parents? Gone, don't even acknowledge it. Hans Zimmer's epic orchestral theme of the first two? Screw it, here's Katy Perry's Firework.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, YOU DID THIS TOO ??? IT'S ALSO ONE OF MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE ANIMATED MOVIES OF ALL TIME AND BY THE WAY` YOU GOTTA ADMIT, THAT IN THIS MOVIE WE ALL CAN HEAR OUR FAMOUS ARMENIAN COMPOSER ARAM KHACHATURIAN'S WORK, AT THE TRAIN CHASE SCENE I MEAN, IT'S WONDERFUL AND ALSO THE WHOLE MOVIE IS A GREAT STORY ABOUT FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE BY MY OPINION, THANKS FOR SINNIG IT DEAR JEREMY, YOU'VE DONE WELL SO FAR, BRAVOOOOOOOOOOOO 👏👏👏👍👍👍
“Are you just going to turn your back on them and eat shitos” “To home home home, cheeseburger, bunch of jackasses standing in a circle”😂that was soo funny
Not sure if its been said, but actually all those marks at the beginning are the number of days between the end of the 2nd movie and the premier date of the 3rd
I like the part where she's busting through walls like nothing 😊. Also, this is my favorite of the Madagascar movies, followed by the penguin centric one 😁
I saw this movie in theaters back in 2012 and my mom was in mental anguish because everyone in the theater was wearing the rainbow afros. And in the months before the movies released every commercial on TV was the exact same trailer of Marty singing that song. Basically, the entirety of 2012 was just Madagascar 3.
