Now that's what I call a rats nest of wire's I would pull the rest of my hair out of my head trying to figure it out I like it and it's inspired me to build something like it but there's a few things I will do different but all in all it's pretty cool I would do some sheet metal sides under the side's of the hood

With that spray liner three coats and they showed body work on the hood first. I think the color which is awesome shows imperfections too easily on your Jeep buddy... Hang in there!

Now you are seeing the finalization of all your work. I do not like the idea of cutting. up a perfectly good vet but that should not be held against your ideas and work. Generally, I like all the work, changes, and finalizing your have done thus far. The hood slanted to the front does make positive profile changes; now, you can see a different class of hot rodding appearing around the Jeep style. This I like since I am restoring a completely stock 1960s Jeep CJ5 after doing sports cars over the last 40 hobby years. Still do not like the cutting up a good Vette but your work has made a very good ride which can be enjoyed over the forthcoming years. Congrats!

It looks good from five feet and that's all that counts! Every job you do, you will learn more and get better and better. Don't sweat the small stuff. Just keep enjoying what you do.

I'm not gonna lie GI, I love the "Frankenz-Voggen", but the "Vette-Jeep" is my favorite. You took the Vette-cart concept to another level, by putting a face and a body on it and it looks RIGHTEOUS, and wrong, (but in a good way)!!! lol!! Exciting stuff for sure man!!

Quit busting your own balls. Your Lucas Black haircut alone is enough for us to work with. You keep doing what we enjoy watching, and that's seeing what it would look like if we started trying and doing it ourselves but actually succeeding. Good job fella..but if you have the time and money...flat the runs etc out and refinish it..you will get a better (deeper) finish this way especially if you are using a 2k system..good luck...tame your time and it will be ok....just an idea mate..

I have a question. And I know it’s different for my state of NH. But are these all builds for private “track” use or are you putting on the road. If so which VIN do you use for registration or do you have to have the authority’s issue a custom build ID #?

For what you started with body wish and fad work the Jeep looks freaking awesome. Thing in the wheel wells blacked out it will be great.. Really liked the hood pins hope you find away to make them work or something close to that. Slow down, this could be an epic street rod. Don't get in a hurry and end up with a junkyard racer. Make the doors function, fab up some inner fender wells, and put proper jeep hood straps on for God sake. You've started strong now finish well.

Oh for proper self serve junk yards. In Europe health and safety went mad. Your not allowed to browse or strip party yourself any longer. So parts are bought blind at 200% what they used to cost.

Best hot rod jeep I have seen. It doesn't have big nobby tires that just don't look right. You have the right tires, and the hood and doors really set that jeep/corvette off. Looking forward too seeing more work on that beauty.

Look up JK front fender liners. Do something similar for the front liners. would look sick. Also, consider some body mount rock sliders. would cover some of the imperfections and look good imo. Your doing a good job!

Go to a big rig Dealer, Mack, Volvo, International trucks sell plastic rear fenders that should be wide enough to cover your rear wheels.

Ya your being to picky and just thinking to much stop that it looks good it doesn't have to be perfect your not building a show car. Here just a go daily driver you don't want perfect for that call the paint body work done move on and finish the rest of the work then call it women and drive from there on

I have a suggestion for side fenders use a fiber and make molding to fit on your fenders. Or watch Filipinos vloger loves mini Jeep n philipines they are making bodys of Jeep.

If you want to clean up those rear wheel wells, you could run a strip of car door edge trim around them. You know, that plastic u-shaped channel stuff they put on the edges of car doors. A strip along either side of the hood might be good too. You'd want to make sure it was fastened down real good, but it would give those cut metal ends more of a finished look.

I see where you are going with this project and I noticed you had a VW Beatle. What would you think about modifying some Beatle fenders to fit?

Looking good , drink more water you're probably dehydrated and don't think so hard it makes your brain hurt lol ( just kidding ) , love the paint on the jeepvette the blue really comes through in the light your right keep up the good work .

You’re going to want to be sure the double safety latch on that hood is still operable. If it opens at 40mph+ it’s going to kill both occupants. I’ve seen custom hoods blow open so many times but this one will absolutely result in fatalities .

Make it run first before you fit and additional bling bling modification... It's more fun if u can spin it before the video end

get a couple rolls of that trim stuff from the auto parts store. Would clean up the rear fenders and the hood over the wheels. Just an idea but you'd be surprised how good it will make a sheet metal cut look lol

Also the project I do never end up perfect but that's what mikes it because that makes it mine so a little imperfection is what makes a project perfect

What about getting someone to plasma cut you some diamond plate wheel arches, like how they make the rock crawling armor?

If you gotta use a hammer to get your doors on your hinges are not aligned properly. Just loosed the bolts with the door on and close then tighten and you should be good for the most part. I had to do that thanks to crap aftermarket hinges
