It's a running ... gag (I guess) ... from the show. Honestly I was suprised the movie didn't make any one-liners on Marhsall's clumsyness. Thank God they did not go with the elevator gag.

Having watched this cartoon with my niece and nephew often enough, I came to the conclusion that Ryder must be some spoiled rich kid whose parents had puppies genetically altered to speak and act like this, so their neglected son could play the hero with them. His parents are never seen after all. Also, it seems like the dog with the helicopter could solve most of the problems they run into on her own.

The puppies were found in the wild and replaced when they die. Proof is the episode with Rubble's backstory. When Ryder rescues him and brings him to the lookout tower the bulldozer is already there and numbered. The implication being that a previous Rubble existed but died and is now being replaced.

There should also be a sins for 1. Sea turtle can’t retract their heads into their shells and 2. Mother sea turtles wouldn’t even be there with the babies to start with. The mothers straight up leave after laying the eggs, leaving the babies to hatch and get themsevles to the water

The tower being paid by merchandising should have gotten a sin off. It came right after I whisper to my wife sarcastically "How is this kid paying for all this?" And it was a perfect third wall break / self deprecating joke for every parent who has had to buy too much paw patrol merchandise.

Good point - I thought that looked like a surprising degree of self-awareness. Probably something the writers and movie team snuck in, knowing they were being paid to make a feature length toy ad and trying to make the best of it.

There were several animation mistakes made, such as one of the missing dog posters in Carmen's shop having a cat on it, Liberty catching up to the pups almost immediately despite being a whole minute behind them, etc. But the biggest mistake, not from an animation perspective, but from a logical perspective is how Chase managed to make it across that gap. It would have made a lot more sense for him to jump that gap with his bike.

10:59 we start hearing about how the dogs, are only in a place for a couple of days, and act like its longer. I feel as though the guys at cinemasins dont have any dogs as pets. Because you can literally be gone for five minutes and theyll act as though they haven't seen you in years.

My counter argument to this is that Chase's grappling hook could reach, it's just that the insanely high winds blew it away. Plus, considering that the pup packs needed to be lightweight, the hook itself is likely to be high strength but lightweight alloy. And yeah, it does have Fast & Furious vibes. In fact, by now, Paw Patrol is probably more realistic than the Fast and Furious films.

My family was constantly watching over foster kids while I was growing, which I loved. What I HATED was Paw Patrol. And everyone in it. I had to watch EVERY MORNING on Nick Jr. I couldn't stand these puppies, the accidents, the melodrama, i hated everything. Seeing Cinemasins tear this movie apart was majestic. I loved Mickey Clubhouse though.

The extent of my knowledge of this series was substitute teaching in a middle school, the teacher had me show that to the class as she was beyond caring (it was the last day of school if I remember right) and it's what the kids wanted. The kids were super into it. I was pretty surprised - how could middle school kids be enjoying this? It looked more suited for lower-elementary. And even for them had surprisingly little redeeming about it. I've seen some for-little-kids cartoons that were actually entertainingly witty, and this wasn't one of them.

This movie gives the middle finger to every Everest (the Siberian husky / snow rescue vehicle inspired PAW Patrol member) fans. I guess that three female characters would have gone over budget. They could have written a snowy mountain rescue to have her in here. And yes, I am adult that knows this.

As a dad who is forced to watch paw patrol all the time this was beautiful. Adventure bay is a terrible town to live in considering the only public service people are literally a kid and his dogs and how the hell are they paying for that crazy tower and all the paw patrol vehicles. Ryder literally has an iron man suit and a giant flying plane with an AI dog and mayor goodway is the worse mayor in the world she literally used tax dollars to build a chicken statue for chickleta in 1 episode
