@@oaktadopbok665 You must be young, there used to be brands that were dirt cheap and they smelled notably worse than the more expensive stuff (which if you're a non-smoker, i understand they stink too, but there's still a difference). My parents smoked premium brands and while I didn't like it (and I don't smoke), I could at least tolerate the smell a little when I was around them. My uncle on the other hand smoked the cheap stuff and they stank of dirt and skunk cabbage in addition to the regular tobacco stink. Basically the cheaper ones were blended with other plants and not just tobacco and the stench was notably worse.

I'm for it in the sense of exploration and variety. The landscape of cinema is so vast that there is room to have fun with stuff and change things around. Like how Hamlet became Lion King or Romeo And Juliet turned into West Side Story. But the failing of the latest attempts to racebend or genderbend the roles or stories is that, well my theory is, it's like a gold rush to capitalize on people's desire for identity and specialness. And they rush so hard to make these movies that they forget what made them work the first time. Ocean's 8 didn't have to be a bad movie, but it was bland. The reason the first trilogy worked wasn't because of George Clooney or any of those guys being dudes. It was because of Steven Soderbergh's style and editing and shot composition and David Holmes's steep soundtracks. So by all means, let's get an old Spanish era Phantom Of The Opera, or have a black The Village or a female The Mask. But for crying out loud, don't skimp on quality. A lot of these movies substitute hard work for preachiness. SpiderVerse is a great example of how you can diversify something without cheapening it.

Anyway, if the film had carried on it'd show him onto his seventh marriage by now, and he'd have intentionally regained his powers almost immediately once he realised women hated him without them.
