I’m so excited about Bath Bomb Week I have used EOs for cleaning and holistic reasons for years but never felt the need to make my own bath bombs or lotions I’ve always used pre-made lotions shampoos and such.. It’s been loads of fun to get the subscription box and learn to actually make these things !

Your video content on bath bombs is great, just what I’m needing to help me make them. My first try some months ago, was an oily disaster which I later used up in tiny amounts in the tub as bath bomb dust so as not to waste it. Ready to try again, I made a very small batch which shows promise. So I’ve order larger bags of the basic ingredient to get going. I love the purity of the white colour bombs best, the fizziness more than the need for soapy foam, or neon mica colours. So, this suits me. And I adore good quality essential oils. Your choice of background music by the way is very loud, it’s feels like a pressure, and it battles within your presentation for attention. It made me feel tired when watching your video a second time - can it be toned down a bit? What do other people think? I’m curious.

I sift every powder that goes into my bath bombs....sounds like you may have lumps in the powders or you aren't mixing your color enough. Try one of those. Hope it helps.

Those pesky white spots are often the result of ingredients not being properly mixed or lumps forming in your mixture. 😊 Make sure to mix your dry ingredients thoroughly to achieve a uniform consistency before adding any liquids. Give it another try, and I'm sure your bath bombs will look perfect! Happy crafting! 🛁✨

Bath bombs have three main ingredients: baking soda, citric acid, and cornstarch. Each of these ingredients works together for that fun fizz. If you wish to change citric acid to another ingredient, you can use cream of tartar. Just make sure to use half as much cream of tartar as you would citric acid.

What about 50% isopropyl alcohol?

50% contains a lot of water and will cause your bath bombs to react prematurely. You can use it in really smaller amounts, but it will start your bath bomb to react. 99% Isoproply Alochol is best.
