Speculation in my community is that the caster may be Green Mage (because of the Shell spell) or Mystic (Mystic Power being a feature of the latest TMNT animated series).

Blue wizard makes a lot of sense now with this expansion, a pirate class will definitely be one of the classes, said that 10 seconds into the cutscene.

I hope they also give aura some new face/horn options. or separate them from one another. also I swear the WoL in this was mocapped by Orlando Bloom. He got some hard core William Turner vibes... I think the melee job will probably be a Corsair that uses a small sword or scimitar as their weapon. WoL looks like he’s wielding a single weapon so some kind of swashbuckling fencer makes sense.

The new job sharing ninja gear seems highly plausible, but I also believe the shirt hint is likely much deeper than just hinting at the gearset. There are just sooooo many good theories out there

I do believe that we'll get the Pirate Job as a Scouting Melee DPS. Though the Magic DPS absolutely will not be geomancer. Everyone seems to forget that Geomancer and Astrologian are the exact same job taught differently in-lore.

I'm betting on corsair and green mage! Best part of the trailer for me as a G'raha Tia simp was, of course, the CGI glow up of G'raha Tia happily eating a taco. He looks SO MUCH BETTER than in the Endwalker trailer. Even his tongue was perfectly animated with care. Amazing.

I *think* the "invisible weapon" at around 3:55 is actually just the hilt of the sheathed sword visually blending into the glove.

I've been wanting an artist/pictomancer for awhile now, and with ninja turtles being named after painters... I'm sort of getting my hopes up for an artist job

The popular running theory is that our classes this expansion are Corsair and Pictomancer. Corsair has been heavily requested since they saw Limsa Snusnu lady pop a cap in a sahagin back in 2.X, and Pictomancer would be a painting based job, inspired by Relm from Final Fantasy 6 and with the TMNT being named after artists. Im stoked to see how Pictomancer is implemented. Furthermore, Corsair has been an overlooked job as, if you got to the Limsa Lominsa Marauder's Guild, you will see two guild signs, one for the Marauders, and one for the Corsairs. It's been there ever since 2.0 and it's one of if not the only instance of a guild sign post not having all of the designated guilds at its location. And I don't think anyone would have been surprised to know Corsair would be picked up in Limsa. Pictomancer could honestly land anywhere, but if by going by the location release trend, I have reason to believe Pictomancer will start in Gridania, as Ul'Dah already has Samurai, Red Mage, and Reaper while Gridania has only Gunbreaker unlockable there and Limsa already has Dancer, Sage, and now Corsair, and Rogue/Ninja + Blue Mage if you wanna get technical. Pictomancer itself is hard to pinpoint in origin, though I believe it will be some offshoot of Blue Magic, because Relm has an Ability called Sketch which paints a duplicate of the selected monster and uses one of their attacks. To this extent, I believe it to come from Tural and hopefully still be as unique and fun as you could have casting spells with the power of art, but we will see.

With only 20 glamour plates available, I already don’t have enough for just the jobs I do play. I can’t add anymore jobs without new glam plates, so if they want to add two more jobs, I hope they are adding another 10 or maybe 15 plates

So back in the ye olden days of the interwebs, there was once a great war that waged on, a war for the ages, a war that was.... Pirates vs Ninjas. IF the new job is Corsair, my guess is that his shirt represents that age old battle brought back to life.

My speculation is onmyoji style pictomancer.....who draw beast that fight them as caster.....like the one in Rokkon. My other take that the melee is duelist/swashbuckler/corsair/fencer. Also possible since its most likely that he share the gear is saboteur. Personally i like it more a classical fencer with epee etc

My theory about the hint from Yoshi-P's shirt: Pictomancer. Relm from FFVI was one. And all of the TMNT turtles are named after painters.

I could see the next melee DPS being a dual-wielder of some kind, they're just as you mentioned "hiding" the other weapon in the FMVs. It's also one of few ways I could see them mixing it up a little because a class that uses only one sword is kinda already done by Paladin and Red Mage to a degree, *BUT* they both also have something in their other hand. So for this new one its either going to be a second sword or a non-Machinist type gun, both of which could work for Corsair. For caster, the Pictomancer thing seems viable, something worth noting as well is that Relm didn't just Sketch monsters, but with a certain relic she could *Control* them as well, and that's probably how we're finally going to get something similar to Beastmaster too in order to flesh out the job's range of skills. Another thing of note is that Krile from FF14 is named after Krile from FF5, and that one also had an affinity for talking to animals. And if our Krile is going to be sporting the new caster job then well...

I assume one of the new jobs is pirate/swashbuckler. The WoL in the trailer kind of has that look.

I may be the only person here that feels this way…but I hope we still have some story line with the Ancients.

im really excited to see ryne and zero together its going to be a really interesting duo. of course im hyped for the new trial/extreme and finally seeing the mount we get for collecting all ew extreme mounts is amazing i love the little chair we sit in on the dragons chest i think they did a great job with it im really excited for october .thordan is a great unreal i never experienced the pain everyone talks about but hes one of my favourite bosses especially cause of his whole king arthur thing. happy for another variety dungeon too im really addicted to them i hope one day we get a shadowbringers one day. and there duty support for all dungeons is really cool especially seeing the new npcs we can fight alongside. and finally in duty roulette i can actually get the alliance raids i want

I expect the scions being split up to be more of a lighthearted rivalry than anything. At least, I hope so. I'm just going to be really sad if the warrior of light winds up pitted against G'raha, even for a little while.

We have Ninja and yet the design and ambiance suggests Assassin, though that would seem a bit overlapping, so I will keep pondering.

On the t-shirt and in the trailer on the statue, there is a staff and a sword. We have already seen the sword class, next will be a mage class. I believe the 2 diveded groups of the scions etc, will be the sword representing strength and the staff representing wisdom. Such as the jaja leader guy having two heads, he probably brought stability and balance with both. That's why after his passing there can only be one, though likely the 2 groups in the end will work as one. Maybe even morth into another 2headed leader as they both have to be in harmony. That's probably why there isn't any other 2 headed. There there's the expansion.

So those not familiar with the TMNT is that all 4 turtles were named by Splinter to have names of famous painters... Relm? FFVI? I've heard it elsewhere as a thought too, but possible painter/artist class... which to be honest a graphics update would be great to showcase an artist class. Relm would paint life-like copies like a twist on summoner...

Ok so regarding the Ninja Turtle shirt, there WAS a Kojin Geomancer, so my guess is Geomancer for caster

I feel like the only hint the t shirt is getting at is that the new melee class will share gear with ninja and thats really it.

Do you think with the story reset and the new Xbox console release they are going to require players to go through all of the other expansions first, or do you think people will be able to start at level 1 here in this new expansion? In game Novice Network chat were all very much set on the idea that people will have to do the whole story first, but I think they should figure out a way to make this expansion work both for level 100's and for low levels.

I can forgive them for making The relic weapons for this expansion just being purchased with tomestones. 😆 There was no way they could probably do a Bozja type thing. Plus you figure some other team was probably working on FF16 too! The whole team probably needs a three-month vacation.

I've been on my Island Sanctuary for months. Taking a break from world ending disasters sounds great. And as a Tataru encouraging coin pincher, my Dyemonger business looks as though it will be stronger than ever.

that new lighting and vegetation will apply everywhere even while the textures aren't upgraded so the whole game will look more appealing to everyone! the missing weapon is totally on purpose, could even be a pirate gun so we can still speculate for the sword but no dead giveaways with the gun!

Geomancer is green, ninja turtles are green, maybe thats it? Maybe the class we saw in the trailer is a geomancer, they use knives and bells and wear robes, a short sword could be a really long knife? Also in the trailer Urianger has a gunblade next to him, bit random.

If I'm not mistaking ff 14 is coming to xbox... that makes me happy but if it came to nintendo switch it would really have me hyped. I'm very happy the continued support for this game I just started 5 months ago and it's one of my all time favorite games and I'll continue to support it

It's really interesting that the WoL has a very visible scar on his right cheek. Especially considering I did the exact same thing after the conclusion of the EW main story. I wrote in my personal cannon that My WoL got that scar from her fight with Zenos, and I wonder if the same thought process entered the heads of the dev team as well.
