Welcome to the first episode of "Everything You Need to Know About" where we discuss MCO movesets.
This video will consist of three sections:
1- In the Showcase section, we will showcase a wide range of 2h movesets to make your selection process easier (1h movesets will be featured in another video).
2- The Installation section will coverhow to install MCO and its movesets.
3- In The Troubleshoot section we identify common issues and provide solutions for them.
Additionally, I will share some problems I encountered during my own installation and execution of mods movesets to make your selection process easier.

Nordic + Desert Race + Imperium provide the most grounded race-based experience in my view, I love the combo. But if you want something more flashy and crazy there's tons of options, Eldenrim can be a good base. Thanks a lot for the showcase, very helpful!

This video is literally a godsend. I've been looking for a video like this that showcases moveset from a variety of modders other than well known ones, as well showcasing them all in one video. There were a few moveset I didn't know existed and are, at the same time, the ones I've been looking for in this video. Literal hidden gems. Thank you so much for making thia video!

Very helpful and clear, I appreciate the time and effort it must have taken for you to put this together. Because of the showcase and insights (problem solving) I have subbed to your channel. Quality always deserves a good response. One suggestion for future content - Please choose a different background to white for text display. Not only is it blinding but it makes it difficult to read if you are dyslexic.

Hello, I started modding my skyrim for about 3-4 days. I'm doing this after years. Your game looks very good. Can you share a mod list with me? I really liked the camera that moves according to the swords' movement. Is this a smooth camera preset?

Some of it is due to the movesets themselves, and some others are due to the Visual Animated Enchants mod :)

Yep, it can. You would need a mod that provides a moveset folder for the said follower. You can manually put the moveset you want through the folder and the follower should execute the said moveset.

MCO is a bit of a tough thing for me to get into. Especially because it breaks the conventions of the game entirely, like the attack speed. I understand that MCO has two different flavours: AMCO and ADXP with the "AMCO" flavour being more compatible with vanilla attack speed and mods like Comprehensive Attack Speed Fix. Also, it completely changes the way that power attacks work, for instance there needed to be a mod to make the Bloodskal Blade puzzles work with MCO installed using dTry's KeyUtils and Dynamic Animation Casting so that you can actually choose whether the energy way that shoots when power attacking goes vertically or horizontally. Plus, if you want to use mods like Heavy Armoury or Animated Armory you need to seek out animation packs for the new weapon types.

I'm not sure about your first question, but for the second one, it depends on the mod. For example, with the Nordic Animation mod, you can separately download and install any weapon animation you want from it on the game.

There has been several mod that sets moveset for specific races. Showcased in this video, it would be Desert Race animation and Imperium Animation. On the other hand, if you want to set a specific moveset on your own for certain NPC or a groupnof NPC, there has been some mod that provides moveset folders that can make the NPC execute the moveset you put into that folder. I tested one for Inigo, and it worked fine. However, you need to choose the animation yourself, put it in the folder, then install the said folder. As for setting movesets on certain weapon, it can depend on the mod itself, but is also possible to set them by using Stance Mod. If you are using old mechanic such as SKYSA and the like, you can try usign AMR stance folder. If using MCO, you can try using FFS (Full Folder Structure) to set specific moveset for specific weapons. I tested to put some 2h animation on 1h weapon, and it weirdly worked. This was some months ago, so I may forgot the procedure that made it work.
