Just bought one.. absolutely nothing will ever come close. definition of a 63 AMG

This is the best AMG ever made, IMO. Beautiful engine, beautiful sound, very practical, superb road manners, incredibly comfortable, and a price tag that didn't break the bank. The only thing that let it down might've been the love/hate looks. One more fairly common issue with C63s is the power steering. Check the lines and reservoir for leaks. If you find the lines leaking, you might want to listen for a noisy steering rack or power steering pump (or both) because of the fluid pressure loss caused by the leak.

You just can't beat that exhaust note! One of AMGs finest machines and no doubt a future classic.

I've owned my C63 W204 for a year now, and I absolutely love it, and will not sell it, as there's nothing out there with the same or better engine note, clearly AMG knew what they were doing taking on the BMW M3 at the time. ☺️

I’ve had my 2013 C63 for about 3 years now and absolutely in love with it. It’s an event every time I drive it and the thing is bullet proof. Never have had ANY problems and just have had to do routine maintenance like oil, brakes, tires.

I had a new 2009 C63 with the P30 package. I loved it but the suspension was ridiculously hard, to the point that it wasn’t fun driving on some roads. I ended up selling it as I kept upgrading my AMG’s. I just recently picked up a really nice used, loaded up, 2011 C63 with the P31 package. It’s still one of my favorite AMG’s.

Bought mine brand new from the dealership showroom in November 2014. It reads on the advertisement as 2015 C63 AMG 507 Edition. Has been one of the best investment ever! Love the car, it is a beast on the highway. I haven’t had any problems, just regular yearly maintenance. I never drove as my everyday car, mostly my weekends. It is service only at the dealership. I won’t sell it, I will drive it for years to come. If you are lucky to own one keep it and never cut cost on maintenance. You wouldn’t take a Rolex to a cheap store to fix? Are you?

I appreciate this video a lot man. It took me down memory lane. My first car at 19 was a C300 back in 2014. I couldn’t afford an AMG and the C300 was a piece of crap lol. Fast forward 2017. i purchased a 2016 bi turbo AMG and loved it but it wasn’t what i truly desired. Then I’m in japan for 2 years, purchase a Supra and return back to the states.... I see a 507 Edition for sale at $44k and i pulled the trigger so fast! That true 6.2 Litre V8 we all desire. Great video my man!

I'm lucky enough to own a 2013 Coupe with 14K on the clock - had it for 2 years now and I absolutely love it! Brutal machine when it wants to be but a great GT car too. Had a couple of slight upgrades with a Quaiffe diff, remap and one of the back boxes removed for extra drama. : )

Great video, small critique as far as information. Additional difference to the Black Series is that the block is a separate part number from C63/P31/507. It uses a baffled block. The P31s and 507s have been dyno tested and have similar HP. AMG performance media was available on all C63s, not exclusive to 507s and Black Series. Just a couple things I noted on first watch through. Excellent video though. Very informative and helpful for potential, new, and long time owners!

Love your content for drivetrain, exhaust and brakes&suspension between Edition507 and the AMG Performance Package Plus, is it only the ECU Mapping that’s different? same forged internals, same exhaust, same track width, same brakes, same suspension? A salesperson at a local lower mainland MB dealership told me 507 shares more with the black series other than just the hood. Is this true?

I'm on my second c63 w204 stationcar now and its on of the greatest cars to drive, but you have to look out for the fog lights in the front. Have had to replace them 3 times, because they easily gets hit by small stones from the road :) and in case you own a c63 w204 with high kilometers, you have too listen after "click" sound from the enige, because it can be an evidens of your camshaft might be loose, which can end up destroying your motor

this car brings me joy like no other, power , luxury and style all in one. The best response to bmw (my favourite brand) but the c63 is iconoc its a legend its a legacy its pride its expereince its the ultimate saloon

I sold my second C63 last week, to replace it with a Corvette Z06. The Corvette is a true drivers car, but damn I miss the sound from that M156....

Awesome video, could you do something like this on the CLK as mentioned in the video, I believe it has the most models and engine types of any Mercedes passenger car. From everyday coupes(200-550s) to sports cars(AMG 55- 63) to super cars(Black Series - DTM) to hypercars (CLK GTR). In fact I believe the CLK 63 were the first models to feature the M156 engines in 2006. Also even though they are older than the C63 a CLK63 is more powerful than a C63

Great cars. A friend of mine has one and doesn’t take care of it of how you would expect. He’s had lean codes for over 40k miles. Bought it at 103k miles and now has 147k or so. Still running fine lol

quick question, is there a seat option as well, I've noticed some in my search for the near future that some have the seat adjustment controls on the Door panel, while some have it on the seat itself where a normal car would have it. Is there a difference between the two?

Just a great car

Just wanted to throw out that my 2015 507 coupe, one of the last M156s to be produced, had injector failure at 15k miles. All 8 were replaced under warranty and luckily there was no internal damage, but just remember that these things can still happen with the newer motors!

Definitely a great and very descriptive video. But you forgot the 2012 C63 Edition 1. With the factory mate black and the red bottom steering wheel. They were only made 2012 and I believe only for north America
