Hi, nice work young man ! @5:00 thanks for showing LOVE to fellow lefty Wesley Low and of course Packy Harahan and Keven Williams. I know that showing synchronized side by side video of two players requires video editing skills ( what software do you use ? ). Thanks :) BTW, I have to try that "twist the door knob" while keeping the wrist cupped at the release tip.
Thank you!!! Super glad you found the video helpful! For editing the side by side, I just used a free app called CapCut. Load up a video, and then use the overlay tool to add another on top of it!
Yo, I don't know if you are gonna see this comment but I just watched your two handed progression video and noticed you were bowling at Roseland Lanes, and that you are from Tallmadge. I am just a short drive away, in Medina, and I am also a two handed lefty on the varsity team here. Anyway, just wanted to say hi from a fellow Ohioan lol and good luck on your bowling journey!

Hi Gavin, it's a long story but basically a friend asked me to be a substitute on his bowling team a month ago and last week there was a two handed bowler who was throwing a lot of strikes and I started researching it and I really like your videos. Also, I am left-handed as well so its great to see your toss! Congrats on all your progress!!! I practiced for 1 week and I just got a 171 high game! (The other games I only got 99 or so) but I already see progress amd it might be time to buy a nice ball. What is your opinion of symetrical vs asymetrical balls for a beginner like me? I think I can hook it but I've been using an old Viz-a-ball the past month and I can make it hook a little bit? Also do you have any advice on weight of a ball? I am in southern Massachusetts. Anyway thanks again for all your hard work! Great videos!
Could you do a guide on different kinds of positions to put your fingers on the surface of the ball? How close are fingernails together of one hand to the next, dis/advantage of having closer/further, and whether to use grips that stay in the ball holes, or grips you actually put on your fingers, etc
A house ball will work fine for the first few months! Just make sure to line up across from your corner pins, and play a lot of angle at them! That being said, a spare ball is super nice to have as a two-Hander. Don’t delay buying one too long.
@senivideoaku283 awesome to hear dude! You don’t gotta think as hard when it comes to a spare ball. I recommend the Storm ice, Brunswick tzone, or the Columbia 300 white dot. Can’t go wrong with any! Mainly just go for what’s cheapest.
For me it was really just using my legs as power (walking faster and using that as my speed over arms/body) and limiting lifting up on release, which helped me increase my speed from 12-14.5 over time, but I’ve only been bowling 2 handed for a year so I’m not an expert or anything 😅
