I love the new options for dual schooling. I think this is what the game needed to make dual schooling an actual viable, possibly even meta concept in both PvP and PvE

If you think about it, Ambrose knows all the schools but may not have mastered them. I think Wizard101 is pushing for this. If done right and not taking away school identity, this could change the whole game for the better. Crazy shit man.
They increased diversity but only on the opposite side. For example, if you're a spirit school now u can dual with any of the elemental schools. And if you're an elemental, you can dual now with any of the spirit schools. And for balance, they gave the remaining opposite wheel synergies (death fire, myth storm) There's still things that u cannot do but I do think that what they gave now opens a bunch of exciting possibilities.
@@classicleslie6914 One of my issues with Wizard101, and many other games as well, is that they think health equates to difficulty. It doesn't. More health just makes what's already boring last much longer than it should. If you can defeat an enemy at reduced health, you can beat them with higher health, it just takes more time for no reason. True difficulty comes from improved AI, which is not something I see Wizard101 doing. Also keep in mind that difficulty isn't always fun either, and that everyone likely has different opinions. Game design and balancing is difficult for that very reason.

Don't have a membership but can you craft these decks backward and forward? Like if I have a death storm wand can I craft it to a death ice wand with no penalty?
You need the original aeon wand to craft any of the new aeon/eternal wands, sadly i don't think it works backwards. So if u want any of the new aeon or eternal death wands u NEED the macabre aeon sword
Haven’t played on a high level wiz for a few years now, every time I start back I drop the game whiling questing in khrysalis but I just can’t fathom why gear has stats for 2 schools now. I can’t possibly imagine why I would want to duel school. if I could get past khrysalis, I think that would turn me away.
So much, so, so much efforts. I'm sad they made the wrong efforts. They needed to rebalance every single school set in the game for EVERY level, not add new useless ones. Plus, why always max? Why is it never lower levels eh?
@Volted ikr, thank god that gone are the days of grinding for months for the reagents for dragoon. Now we can just skip it entirly cause it gets replaced in only 30 levels lol
Do we have these item changes on 69, 50 , 100 gear too? we need other leagues to have these dual school changes too. im kind of sad about the fact that only max level pvp is getting attention and other leagues are just p2w 😢
Thank goodness the life gear sucks, so I don't have to farm. The secondary schools for life being ice the weakest school and storm requires accuracy investment.
while this is coo, for those not in guilds like you said are a lil fucked. i think the most common reason someone isn’t in a guild or at least speaking for myself is that i can’t dedicated 3 hours to a raid. i have a job and need my money to pay bills and sometimes play wiz. so it’s like they’re demanding more time from adult players to have a chance at high level pvp. idk wish there were just other methods to getting more viable gear than just boofing 3 hours on a raid to get dog SHIT if your guild is actually good enough to win
