@@skulloneshrout6542 ahh bro, you've gotta give me a break lol it's a 1hr long video and there's always gonna be something that falls through the cracks. I'll be playing on PC btw, so imagine how much of a donkey I feel about it lol
When it comes to the morality system (or lack thereof) in particular, I actually like that they're not going with the KOTOR style scale. Not assigning a particular alignment to each action (as if all choices are as simple as just black and white) forces you to look at your choices and decide for yourself if you can justify them or not. It feels like a more realistic morality system as opposed to just a meter that tells you how much of a prick you are.
I would love to see a passive morality system, we aren’t told what the good or bad potion is and we aren’t given a ‘good or bad’ meter but our choices do affect how other characters perceive us without is ‘cheating’ by being able to see what the arguably good or bad choice is, I love morality type games but I hate being told if what I did was good or bad just let me see the outcome, if that makes sense
@@Sin_cities This is essentially what Telltale games do. Rather than a good or bad system, each character will like/dislike/respect you or react a certain way based on how they perceive your actions. I think that makes a lot more sense considering people have such different opinions.
Wow!! You must have put a lot of work to make such a complete and useful information guide about the game! Thank you so much for your effort!Brilliant !!
am def gonna have my first play through as Hufflepuff and gonna focus on animal and plants. 2 playthrough is ofc as an evil slytherin. + i think there will be swimming/black lake since thre are an exclusive kelp robe. so i think they may be hinting at something. or else i might just look to deep into it :P
wait so will i also be able to do sebs questline if i choose hufflepuff? cuz i dont wanna be a slytherin but i do wanna be evil and be able to use dark magix
I just want to ask i plan on getting the ps 5 late march but i want to have the pre order bonuses if i preorder the physical deluxe game but i can only start playing in march wil i still have the pre order bonuses
Great question mate, I think you're better placed to reach out to WBGames Support on twitter, they're really responsive tbf (twitter.com/wbgamessupport) I just don't want to give you the wrong answer and you miss out!
What a brilliant breakdown of HL, it is so helpful having it in one place and in a super clear way, bravo Mr Reloads and thank you for your hard work - 1 hour well spent watching this on my Saturday afternoon 👊🏼
I can’t wait for February 7th, I’m so excited for this game it’s insane. I still remember young me playing Harry Potter 1 on the PS1, imagining how awesome a game like Hogwarts Legacy is now could have been and after two decades we finally get a game like that
Huh nvm it’s weird yesterday I saw it was the 22th on the PlayStation store but I guess i saw wrong so now I’m even more hyped cuz I thought it was a month away but now its not even a month away
Have we learned nothing over the past 2 years? Temper your expectations. I’m hoping this game will be good too, but damn it’s as if people have such short memories. Don’t pre-order, unless you’re comfortable losing your refund window by the time the game launches, and keep your expectations in check unless you want to be disappointed 9 times out of 10.
@@Saltbreather I think the world and landscape is the biggest part for me I’m happy with it. Ofc id like other factors but I don’t think I’ll disappointed coming from what I seen.
Just finished watching this big boy of a video, not many people will know how many times you re-worked the entire thing, dedication and perfectionism at its finest! Even tho it was an hour, it really didn’t feel like it, flew by really quickly. Informative as always, great job boss
@@AndyReloads lets see short staffed so there might be some mixing and matching to get everything done, thankfully speakers are pretty good and a lot of driving so i have plenty of time to finish this if i cant finish the video before work as you know house full of gremlins
One thing I wish they'd do now (Disney Dreamlight Valley did it) was let us pre-set our Avatar before the release of the game. That way we can spend "6 hours" messing around with the choices there (like you said), and then when the game is released, we can get straight into it with the Avatar we Premade.
@@AndyReloads Still watching it, but so far yes! I get emotional over some of the animations and I cannot imagine how I'll feel "actually" walking through the castle and the rest of the world. Thank you again for these videos!
For Hogwarts legacy, I would say that for some people the mage length will be 160h, because I WILL play the whole game on each house, so I’ll play the game 4 times. Although the overall story will be the same they do mention that the game have quests specifically for each house. Extremely excited for this!
I've been so excited for this game, literally been counting the days till it releases. Thank you for a great detailed video capturing all the stuff we will be able to do!
Awesome breakdown. This game really looks amazing, you can see the love for the universe the creators have put into this. This is the type of game kids dreamed about playing when the books 1st came out. I’m sold and really excited to dive into this world and play.
Now that's what I call "EVERYTHING". I have seen a lot of videos which says everything you need to know etc. but they never include like you do. Respect.
ah mate, one of the biggest compliments you can give is say something like that, thank you so much! Looking forward to making more videos for you asap!
Great informative video discussing everything we know so far. Can’t wait for this game as I’ve been looking forward to create my own story in the wizarding world and meet new fun and interesting characters.
Cheers Tango, reading your comment made me smile and it really does give me an epic buzz to know you enjoyed it. Makes it all worthwhile for me, so thanks very much! I also really hope you enjoy the game when it releases and I'm looking forward to making more videos for you soon!
Do you think the NPC students will have programed schedules? Will they sleep in the common rooms, eat in the great hall, and attend classes with us? Or do you think they will just spawn in to fill up the space. Will they be persistent? In the sense that we will see the same names and faces as we progress through the story? Or do you think the game will just generate a name and a face each time we boot up the game. How do you think the NPC students were handled by the developers? Good or bad, I want to hear your thoughts.
Games arent that good my guy, there will be some schedules. but you wont be able to follow some guy whenever you want and see him do a complete schedule, that is almost nowhere possible even in the biggest games that did it the best
I purchased the digital deluxe PS5 version and will be taking three days off of work. Best believe I’ma spend the first 24 hours just exploring the castle and grounds. Been waiting 20 years to walk the Hogwarts ground uninhibited for myself. I’m also so excited to see the extent of the wizarding world
Well as I said mate I will settle in with beers tonight for this epic! As someone who doesn't know much HP lore etc this is going to really help me - cheers
I really like the camera angles and gameplay already. I could also tell that the developers are fans of the Witcher 3 game and Red Dead Redemption games based off the way the game looks even though it’s a whole different game and experience. I cant say I’m a big Harry Potter fan but just way this game looks, I’m all in and it got me watching the first Harry Potter movie that came out over 20 years ago so I ended up watching it so i could understand the lore before the game comes out. Some will say that I have to read the books too.
100% agree. One of the things I’m most excited about with this game is the mechanics themselves. Even if you’re not at all a HP fan, there is so much to do and all gameplay so far looks very user friendly and fun. This should be a high quality RPG!
Over 800k views and only 11k likes on a video that is probably the best video I’ve seen on Hogwarts legacy is kinda ridiculous guys… it take less than a second to like 👍🏻 the video… I’m disappointed in everyone who didn’t take that time to like this.
I’ll be honest, the PlayStation exclusive content is super lame. I OWN a PlayStation 5 but would prefer playing the game on PC or Xbox (I like my elite controller) and it just sucks having to choose between all the game/content and my preferred controller/platform.
Hey man I know that you have mentioned wanting to do this full time and I must say if you do play throughs or hell every tutorials of this game I can guarantee success for you my friend. Just a thought, loving the content by the way.
The gargantuan scope of this game scares me, but the fact that they already have visual footage of most content is what's holding my hype that this game might actually release and be as good as they promise
It was actually a relief to not have Quidditch. I had a hard time with Quidditch in the old Harry Potter games. I kept missing some of the rings, Because of low vision. I still enjoyed it. I still play those games occasionally.
I can't wait for this .. I don't want to get my hopes up though. Thank you Andy for the amazing review and the run thru of the game. It looks super fun and good. The combat is what I'm excited for. I hope there are a lot of hidden secrets in this game.
Man I love how this game so perfectly fits my head-cannon of Hufflepuff as the sort of Druid house. I have always adored animals & was fascinated by mythological creatures as a kid. Over the last few years I've got into gardening & grow my own herbs. There is nothing quite as satisfying as harvesting a plant you have cared for to eat or drink. My wand on Pottermore is chestnut with a unicorn hair core. Suggesting an affinity for herbology & magical beasts. Its all just so perfect lol. Going to have an instant immersion hook when I play with all that.
@@tallpaul7130 Lemon balm makes you pretty chill & all you need to do is make tea from it. Also grow peppermint, lavender, rose, dandelion, passion flower & stinging nettle. All can be used for herbal teas.
@AndyReloads we need to somehow make them add the discovery tour in the game. that would be dope for all the newcomers to experience and have some sort of knowledge on hogwarts and other places around hogwarts.
Love this idea mate and that's what I think they've tried to do with these Lore pages (Revelio spell) to get people up to speed on stuff in the castle!
@@AndyReloads i also have a theory on the latest cinematic trailer hogwarts legacy released. When professor Weasley said, "we don't know what magic caused this", i think someone released a magic to cause all monsters to flip out and get corrupted around hogwarts hence is the reason why they're all around the map. Obviously just a theory but who knows...
Mate! Seriously the best HL update I've seen till now! Everything one needs to know about this game. It was a great stress buster watching this after working on a Saturday. 🤓😂🍻🍻
The physical Deluxe Edition getting LESS stuff than the Digital Edition is utter bullsh*t. We're paying the same price, why on Earth aren't we getting the same stuff? I pre-ordered the Deluxe on PS5 but I'm absolutely not doing so for the Xbox, PC and Switch versions. I want my games on discs.
it would be cool if they could have a meta linked online presence where your character's actions earned house points and it was updated and aggregated by house in real time.
@@michaelcassianos1244 you get the dark arena if you buy the deluxe edition of the game. it's basically a practice area to test out curses without affecting your reputation. as you said, various waves of enemies. maybe you get a prize or something for beating it. pretty much a way to have try out being evil without any game consequences. completely outside of any role playing experience.
Kinda funny story, partway through this video I actually looked up PS5's on Walmart's website and saw 1 store said it was in-stock. It was like 10:15 they close at 11:00, so I hop in my car and go see if they have any; if not I needed to buy a couple other things anyway so it wouldn't be a waste of a trip if their website was wrong. So I get there, grab a basket and go straight to electronics and right when I get to the aisle I hear "I need customer service to electronics" and there was a worker standing there with some guy in his 20s; so natural assumption is he wants the PS5 and there's only 1 left in-stock. So I go grab the 2 things I needed and come back to see if that dude is gone and if maybe he was getting something else instead, he's still there and hadn't been helped yet. So I stand on the next aisle over pretending to look at stuff and wait and see if someone comes over and helps him (the aisle was only like 5.5 feet tall so I could see over it easy, except for part of it that had some taller boxes on it) to see if he does indeed get the last PS5. So anyway after a few minutes I'm like "F**k it! I'll just go ask the guy if he's gonna buy that PS5, so I'm not standing over here awkwardly", but I get to the other aisle and he's not there, dude just vanished, and the PS5 is still in the case. I look around for him a bit, Idk if he decided he didn't want it anymore, decided to comeback in the morning since they closed in 10 minutes, went to go find somebody else to help him, or went to the bathroom or what. So anyway one worker was walking by and I asked if she had keys to the case, and she grabs this other dude real quick that was working there and he opened the case and checked me out. Whole time I was nervous the other customer was gonna come back and see me checking out with it, now if he would've came back before I ran my card I would've let him have the PS5 as he WAS there first so it's only fair. However he didn't come back, so I finish checking out and just bee-line out the damn store quick as I could, didn't see that dude on my way out the store either. Whole process of me going to the next aisle and checking out, getting them to get it out the case, and checking out took maybe 3 minutes max. I just think it'd be hilarious if that dude came back right after I left and saw that PS5 was GONE! Anyway I got my PS5 set up and downloading the free copy of GoW: Ragnarok that came with it, and now I'm back to finish this video! lol
@@AndyReloads hey, no worries man, by the way what console are you going to play Hogwarts legacy on I was just curious me personally, it’s the PS5 super pumped can’t wait to finally play the game.
@@wojtek1765 PS5 for me on console mate, but I think the PC specs are a little better so I may try and destroy my laptop by attempting to get it to run at 4k 60 fps 🤣🤣
#teamearly dammmmmn thanks for this video it's much better than searching for those specific videos. Andy you never cease to amaze me as always amazing video amazing work and just perfect video.LONG LIVE THE DARK MAGIC IN SLYTHERIN
Idk if I missed it or hasn't been mentioned yet. But if you create an account on Harry Potter Fan Club/WB account, you can link you Fan Club account to your Playstation and get a couple more cosmetics
Thank you for this no less than incredible, and very informative video. The amount of work that must have gone into this is not lost on me. Amazing. Thank you.
I'm actually a little worried about this game. You know the saying "Too good to be true?" This game throws practically everything you'd want and them sum, and is saying it all works together. So I'm going into this a bit skeptical. That said, the devs have been pretty transparent, so there's that...
Great video!!! Wasn’t expecting it to be this long lol but it’s extremely well done n perfectly put together n excellently executed with all the information wonderfully explained! Great job Andy n I am excited to see more of your videos n hope you enjoy lots of success n have lots of fun with your RU-vid career! Can’t wait to play Hogwarts Legacy n get to having fun exploring the wizarding world
@@AndyReloads ofc n my pleasure. It’s always great to check out your videos cuz I know you’re a reliable source! Gotta always consider the source! N Andy is one of the best or the best sources on some of my favorite games so there’s no way I’m missing a video n I’m always looking forward to the next video! Deff the best RU-vid videos on Hogwarts Legacy n Assassins Creed games!
You know what, I had no intention of buying this game at all-truly. But this video is definitely tipping the decision scale for me. Very well put together and well explained. I appreciate hard work 🙏🏼
You didn’t mention PC in the preorder section. I was under the impression that the hogsmead quest and luck potion recipe was also for PC. Thanks for the info tho ❤️
You must have been exhausted by the time you finished this epic video. Just having all the video links on standby alone must have been a nightmare and then selecting tiny clips just where you needed them. A monumental and thoroughly enjoyable piece of work. Thank you very much.
Just amazing video! Thanks for making this 🙏 Am even more excited for the game now, if that was even possible 😅 I ordered the deluxe version for my Xbox Series S, so can't wait to play on February 7th!!
I'm so excited. At least if your not on PlayStation you get the quest for shop a year later as I plan to have multiple playthroughs. Do you know if its confirmed you get the exclusive liquid luck potion too?
I sent an preordered after watching this video. I’ve been skeptical bc so much seemed to have been promised that I didn’t really believe it, but I’ve been waiting for a game like this for years, have read numerous amounts (a written) of fanfic with a self insert character in the Wizarding World that I knew if I didn’t buy it now and get a bunch of the hidden stuff spoiled to me, id be upset. So excited!
@AndyReloads Marvelously spectacular informative massive video bro! 😎 Bought the digital deluxe edition for ps4. I appreciate the spoiler vids after the Feb 10th building up to the April 4th release date. The only dislike I have for Hogwarts Legacy it doesn't have a new game plus mode where it gets progressively harder with the bosses/enemies have increased strength in new game play throughs like how dark souls journey mode. Even Nioh 2's new game plus mode increased equipment and weapons to help players beat the newly enhanced old bosses/enemies it has alot replayability. Hogwarts Legacy only has a difficulty setting meaning is has a easy, normal, and hard mode difficulty. I'm very excited for the game it looks so magnificent and well made. Looking forward to doing like stealth or heavy tank builds and getting a horned owl as a pet.
Thank you mate, so epic to hear you enjoyed it!!! Good points, perhaps this will be added be later on in launch? I'm always a big fan of NG+ for exactly the reasons you mentioned, would make sense for this to include it! Also, I'm super pumped about the potential of builds as well, looks like the options are there which is great!
Thank you so much for this, really great video, we can really feel the depth of research and work put into it, the game looks to be perfect , which is scary from previous AAA titles, but I'm really excited to dive deep into it, always loved Harry Potter and the game seems to address almost every crucial point from the books/movies
