I was so shocked when I first heard the new voice of Elex's main character, immediatly recognized it. Colour me even more surprised when I suddenly heard Matt talking as well.... so weird having 2 people you see online almost daily suddenly talking to each other in a game.

Oh, this is a neat surprise. I always was curious about the first one but never got into it, and started seeing ads for this awhile back. I remember trying to look up if the protag was actually Taliesin at the time, too, I thought I just had critterbrain! I can see why they dug the project. Man. This just makes me ache with hope that the new D&D Direct stuff is gonna be about Spelljammer all the more, too.

Wow, I didn't expect a game like Elex 2 to be featured like this. I'm glad it did though, refreshing to see them give a bit of love and plugs to something that isn't a super polished, AAA title. Piranha Bytes games are very much games that you should expect to have some jank and clunkiness, and in some ways feel a bit dated but to still charm you in spite of it.

I like the idea of a sibling mode for a game. It'd be hilarious in a way. Just log into the game and you're in different place randomly or some of your quests have been done already or items missing... Relationships in game ruined by poor dialogue choices etc. Could be a fun gimmick

It's fantastic how Piranha Bytes have basically making the same game for the last 20 years just every time with a slightly different setting but basically all the same mechanics and quests even up to the same grizzled non-descript male hero. I didn't know this game was from PB but immediately I can see - yes: It certainly is. Collect flowers, loot things from rat creatures, accidentally attack someone and be chased down till death. Also it's really fun seeing how much trouble Taleisin has with the controls - considering how much more difficult to play the early games were. I remember in the first Gothic you had to hold ctrl and press up to collect anything. For swinging the sword I think it even was Ctrl + any swing direction, IIRC. Ah good times. (edit) Aah ... even the emberflies are basically the same enemy type AGAIN. XD (disclaimer) I really had a lot of fun with every PB game I played so far and they really know how to make an interesting world. It's just really noticeable how similar the games are.

But I was okay with it until you came along. Let's go over a couple of things, since you opened the Opinion Door here. There is supposed to be a capital T and B at the beginning of your sentences, and it's not "perfecting" fine, it's 'perfectly' fine. So, if you're gonna troll peoples comments, maybe you should get Grammarly. Oh, and don't forget to love each other. 😁
