IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW: when the wand ghost whispers “I was never Your wand” it was referring to the fact that meteora should be the one with the wand, not star and it never actually should of belonged to her! They planned this from the start!

well eclipsa did have that annihilation spell, which could have killed them, but moon and star are just like: "the peeepleee! Nuuu. Don't kill the peeplee." So the wand did have enough power, but they deemed the cost of using it too great.

Commenting Guy Animating team changed between season 1 and 2. Season 1 was more lively but sort of awkward looking. Season 2 - 3 is more realistic with better looking emotional faces and more reasonable movement in characters.

The animation changed, too. S1's character movements are slightly exaggerated, something like TAWOG and the pen strokes are bolder and they only seem to use only one size to trace everything. I think they're going for the 'comic book' look?

From watching you can just see how much Star has grown since season one. When she first got her wand it was just a toy or a tool to have fun with and now she takes things more seriously like trying to bring peace to monsters and mewnans and learning how to use her powers to the fullest.

I like the fact that when star's wand became its newest form, with the newly reforged star crystal in the center, she didn't really exist at that point. her body was entirely within the realm of magic. I don't think she found a way to open a portal from the realm of magic, i think she just forged herself an entirely new body out of thin air, in Butterfly Mode

I just realized, how exactly did Toffee even know the whispering spell? How did he know that it was the first spell Moon taught Star? How did he know being destroyed by/with the wand sent you to the realm of magic? And how was him being sent different than Star if they were sent the same was (toffee becoming part of the magic vs star, Who was stuck there)? So many questions.
